Abilities:Dark release allows the user to absorb and redirect or convert jutsu. While jutsu and elements absorbed this way cannot be learned in any capacity, they can be released. Non-physical elements can be easily absorbed, while the physical ones (water, earth, crystal etc) are much more difficult. Users of Dark Release cannot learn any skills under the ninjutsu or genjutsu skillset. Clanless only.

DNA Required: Cannot be obtained through use of DNA. People are born with this Kekkei Genkai with no known relation to each other or clan.
Description: Dark Release (冥遁, Meiton, Viz: Shade Style) is an advanced form of Yin Release Ninjutsu only available to unique individuals that can be used to absorb, manipulate, and release chakra taken from an opponent. (from wiki)
Abilities: Dark Release allows the user to absorb and redirect or convert energy-based and less physical jutsu, such as from the Lightning, Fire, and Wind elements, pure chakra, and some advanced elements. While jutsu and elements absorbed this way cannot be learned in any capacity, they can be released. Users of Dark Release can only absorb these jutsu by contact (though it can happen fast enough that they are not harmed by the contact), and once jutsu are absorbed, they must be released within the same post or the chakra from the jutsu escapes the user, and they lose the ability to fire the jutsu back at the subject. With the correct techniques, the chakra absorbed from one jutsu can be used to power another jutsu of equal or lower rank, theoretically, but must also happen in the same post.

Abilities: Dark Release allows the user to absorb and redirect or convert energy-based and less physical jutsu, such as from the Lightning, Fire, and Wind elements, pure chakra, and some advanced elements (not restricted to traditional ninjutsu). While jutsu and elements absorbed this way cannot be learned in any capacity, they can be released.  Users of Dark Release can only absorb these jutsu by contact (though it can happen fast enough that they are not harmed by the contact), and once jutsu are absorbed, they must be utilized in some way by the Dark Release jutsu as registered, on the same post as they were absorbed.
User cannot learn Traditional Ninjutsu techniques.
