The Adventures of a Troubled Boy
As Roku strolled through Konohagakure that morning, as he always did, looking around and taking in the view, a small old lady struggled with some cans of pain and a few brushes. When she noticed Roku, and his headband, her face lit up, and she dropped her paint and scrambled over to Roku to ask his assistance in painting her fence. While his first inclination was to say no, the lady offered some ryo and Roku realized he hadn't done much by way of earning money lately, so he grudgingly agreed. That said, Roku didn't need to do it the slow way - he performed Shadow Clone Technique and created seven copies of himself. The crew cranked away painting the fence for about 90 minutes before they finished. Near the end, the nice old lady came out to offer Roku some lemonade, but seeing him done, she squealed in delight, ran inside, and withdrew with a paperclip of ryo, and handed it to Roku, thanking him for his help. "No problem! If there's anything else I can do to help, just find me and let me know!" With that, Roku hurried off, as he had some other business to attend to that morning.
