And now this man was of course in the process of panting and was in fact drenched in swat for his had been such a time that h ehadb een out here nad th day was getting hotter and more hostile and he had been in motion for such a time that his body felt stiffened and totally numbed from all of teh exhertion which he had had to do and so heere he was out once more or rathe rstill on the pits and fighting for his life when he had hear the crowd suddenly hush up and quite down just a bit which was rare for them it seemed for they had so far failed to stop but carrying on and on all day so far.

He looked up only to find that i ha dbeen that hey they had been listening one more to tha tannouncer who was ogin gon about something but it seemed he ha dmissed what he was saying in fact which was never a good thing for it meant tha this focus was leaving him though an internal inventiory told him that his resovle to live was not abondoning him no sir ree no not now of all times and so he would ocnitnued to pres on and figh tand succeed against whateve rodds the arena threw at him he would certainly prevail for of cours e he would.

He had almost fully blacked out oncre more it seemed for he had no idea what foe was comming to him next but instead was at the point of letting his body take over entirely for him. He had rested breifly though remainined standing and his chakra was recovering just a bit but a ten minute respite was nothign compared to the gurelying fight he had been put through alredy and teh comming battels that yet needed to occure. However he yet felt confident that he would be able tot ake anything tha tshowed up that is to say until taht grate began to oepn and for perhaps the first momentn here within this battle gauntelet he felt a twinge of doubt creep out over him as he faced down a new monstrosity which just seemed to keep chaging and changing and h ewonered if these people would ever even let him go or if he would be left to starve out here on the battle grounds.

From the dark hole of the opposit eside of the area stepped out a huge eight foot tall beast sproritn what appeare d to be a thick set of armor and a classic weapon in the form of a battle axe and from that gaping maw it pounded out as the crowd exploded into a freqnzy of excitement and joy going oin and on about how joyous it would be to see it split the head of the much shorter challenger. The massive minitaur looked like a bull which had simply stood up to walk upon two legs but with the hadnds of a giant and the body partially of a man and partiall of a beast. He took quick note of its legs, still bovine in nature, and realized that this may be his ony ticket to suceed for it seemed that forging armor for such a strange shape ahd prooven too difficult for whoever made the armor for this particular faciility.

The minitaur charged right away with firrhtingins speed and it was nearly all he could do to roll out of the way and reclaim his bearings. He was not totally sur ehow he would go about fighting this thing right away because he did not knwo what it would prefer to do bu tseeing now it was of the ind set of simply blitzing him and using its clear advantage ins trength to overwhelm the man who now stood in front of him. He continued to cirlcle the thing as it slowed and eventually turned back aground to charge one more, holding the ax just over its head as it ran full out at the short heard haired man. He poised himself to roll at the last minute but even a small miscalculation could prove uttelry ruinous for him and so he would need to remain vigilant and careful. One, two, showtime.

Mid stride of the horrible beast he ducked and rolled under his legs, blade singing in a rolling arch as it lanced up and around the leg of the monster and seaking to remove his ability to fully or properly utizlie its left leg. The wound was not as clean as he may hav eneeded or wanted it but it was true that it struck home and he managed to draw first blood though he could feel himself slowing and he could tell that the monster was hurt but that he was tired. It did not fully falter though and instead turned shakily around to attempt to once more face the thing which had attacked it and swung its ax in a wild and almost madly desperate arc perhaps attempting to cleave of his head or to split him totally in half.

What normally would have been a wasted energy was suddenly a dange as the ax cleaved off a few hairs from teh amsn head for he has slowed even this much from his extreme exhaustion but none the less he survivve and was actually totally fine and continued to move on with his swords stepping up into the space of that monstrosity and sending the tip of his sword running along the elbow area of th emonster hopeing to disable his arm and more importantly to put it in a state of shocking pain. He had already attained th eupper hand by throwing the thing off balance and he needed to press this home or he was not going to be able to hold out forever quite yet. He pulled the sword back and prepared for a moment of final climax between man and monster, somewhat sad to see such a cool creature go.

He gazed upon the beast in front of him self and looked sharply upon it before thrusting his blade at in and then repeating the motion. He repeated it again and again going even faster every time until her weapon was little more than a blur of motion which allowed her to strike so fast that the attack was essentially two attacks which had been perpetrated at the exact same time which allowed her to strike the monster twice at once. Wounds piled up from its eyes, its face, its abdomine. Ever exposed area blossomed with bright splotches of blood which coated the ground and eventually the thing buckled, toppling forawrd onto the man who fought it. He heaved the dead mass off of him, sore from the impact,and stood, crowd exploding in his ear. They threw flowers now as well as popcorn and the snow from before had turned a multitute of colors like a falling shower of rainbow shards.
