He had meandered through the streets of the cloud village for some time now, stopping occasionally at street vendors and small shops to appraise their goods and buy food. He was by no means wealthy though he did carry enough money to reasonably live within the city-like village for some time. People, he noticed, failed to give him the wide berth that those beyond the walls had and few eyes even bothered to take note of the weapon hanging from his back nor the small piece of bone-shaped porcelain that covered his left eye. Perhaps here, within a village populated almost exclusively by murderous ninja and those who supported their craft, no one cared if someone carried around a giant sword or breathed fire. How quaint.
He wondered how these people felt that they were safer with a hundred super-powered humans roaming about. Perhaps some form of decorum kept them all in place. Perhaps the it was true that the illustrious and mysterious kage of these lands truly possessed such overwhelming power that he could strike down those who disobeyed in but an instant. The man, at present, could not know.
So, in lieu of truly understanding this place, he sat down upon a small, wooden park bench looking over a decorative reflective pool where a horde of sun yellow dandelions grew all across the tiny green space. He did not really know what he was looking for and yet increasingly felt that he would not find it here beneath the shadow of the looming kage's tower, allowing his mind to push out expansively.

He then, after an egregious amount of time spent waiting, found himself at an impasse. Restlessly, he stood and paced up and down the dirt road along one side of the tower and allowed himself to think as a small barrier around himself formed, a little extension of his hands and body to tell him where people were. Nothing terribly impressive nor difficult and yet something useful all the same.
He contemplated for some time, a small vendor of paper bombs - among other things - drawing his attention more than once. What a boring, slow, pointless place this was, though beautiful in spite of such things. He could probably, judging by the lack of awarness all about, just walk up to and blow up the kage tower but he did not really have an wide spread attacks like that, did not want to have to deal with the nonsense fall out, and was not entirely certain he could easily make it out alive, though he was very sure that he could.
Instead, he just walked away, exiting the village in a different route than he had used to enter, the trident spinning idly between his fingers.
exist I guess
