Sweeping the halls with glory and with the best attitude possible. Gekkido had completed a solid week of doing very mundane tasks for the village. He needed the money, and he needed the experience interacting with people who would one day be kneeling before him. His brazen attitude was hidden behind the guise of being a servant and a man who actually cared about the citizens he was protecting. He swept the halls as students carelessly walked across the floor he swept. The dirt from their sneakers was motivation for him to continue the process of sweeping and of thinking of his master plan and the many dreams that filled his mind in times of silence. He waited until all had left to finish was to mop. Going the extra mile had been a skill he’d known since being a child. It was now so ingrained him that even the most mundane of tasks was done with excellence. Gekkido finished the week by carefully tending to the floor and then quickly departed to the exit. Locking the door and putting the broom up, he was ready to be rid of these chores and get back to waiting for his opportunity to strike on this village and its system of tyranny.
