Newly Weds

Ah, leading newly weds on a tour. The fun part about newly weds was that they were in such a state of euphoria that they could be excited about anything. Anywhere was fine for them to live together, as long as they were together. Much of the tour was spent looking at apartments and other living arrangements, naturally, and this was fine for Gekkido. He wasn’t a real-estate agent but he had to admit there was a simplistic beauty to the homes in kirigakure that were matched nowhere else. The way the apartments glistened in the sunlight and the water was so near to them. Gekkido had to admit that he himself would love to live some of the places he took them. The downtown district, where most of the lawyers and other high-class specialists lived was nice but robbed one of the many of the views available to a person living in kirigakure. Gekkido ended their tour by taking them to a furniture store where they could look at furniture to fill their imaginary new home with. Finances were a small part of the selection process, naturally. The most important part of it for the woman was the “feel”, and for the man it was the logistics. Gekkido felt he did a great job showing them around in general, and it was at the end of the trip that the young couple discovered they’d found everything they wanted - but purchased nothing. A small batch of laughter was released among the three of them as they went back to the main tour center where he would drop them off for the evening.
