Appearance: He has black eyes and spiky black hair with a blue tint. Sanosuke's hair has hung over his face as bangs since he was a child, which as he gets older he allows to grow longer and, in turn, cover more of his face; by adulthood, his hair completely covers the left side of his face. He is considered handsome by most girls near his age. Sanosuke consistently wears dark blue pants, over which hangs a blue cloth that covers him from his stomach to his knees, which he secures with a purple rope belt. He initially complements this with a white long-sleeved shirt kept open at the torso and black arm guards that cover his forearms. There are times when he replaces this top with a sleeveless dark grey shirt and the arm guards with bandages on his wrists.

Personality: Sanosuke was an excitable man with a boisterous personality. He loved meeting new people, having friendly competitions, and drinking. Headstrong and often impulsive, it fell to others such as his friends and family to be more responsible or realistic about things that Sanosuke had gotten carried away with. When taken down in this way, or even when simply presented with information that troubled him, Sanosuke could do a near-immediate about-face, going from laughing to sulking. These moping periods were typically brief though, and he'd quickly go back to his usual high-spirited nature.

Despite the first impression he may give, Sanosuke was capable of being serious when it came to matters that were important to him. He wants the rest of the village to cherish what Konoha represented just as much as he did, encouraging them to regard every villager as part of one large family that should always look out for each other. As a ninja, his job was to protect that family at all costs, even if that cost was his life. This philosophy, known as the "Will of Fire", would become a cornerstone of Konoha teachings for decades after it's inception by its creator.
Character History: Sanosuke was born and raised in Konoha. It was his home and he loved it. He never was a talented shinobi nor was he the worst. Sanosuke was about average as a child would be as he entered the academy. Because of his good looks the girls would like him and the boys would want to be him. But he never lorded over anyone nor did he allow to Lord it over him. In his eyes, everyone in Konoha is equal and was born that way. One of the few humble people in the world, as he grew, women loved him even more for it. He had a charisma that would make anyone love to be around him. He would rather apologize to a comrade and keep their focus on the real enemies of Konoha.

As a boy growing up, he and his family were almost killed in the attack of Black Sun on Konoha. Had it not been the skill of his father that day, they all would have perished. It was from this day, Sanosuke decided to take his father's offer and take the pride of his bloodline seriously. Being Uchiha, his father would tell him that others his age would hate and jealous him but Sanosuke did not care. He had a soft spot for his own village ninja that he vowed to work hard so that some day he would be able to protect even those that hated him.
