| The village was a bit in the way of shambles after the destructions at the hands of a comically lame evil organization. Sure, they had murdered the Kazekage, but - well actually, they hadn't even done that. Instead, they had appeared to randomly attack the village, sent a singular person to murder a kage, and eventually forced the old man to sacrifice himself for the protection of the village. It had been a sad affair or... whatever. She'd not know the kage outside of realizing that he was not a strong man. To have felt truly threatened by a half shark man was ridiculous. Presently she shunted all of her chakra currently within her body into the Yin seal as she prepared for her next meal. | |

| Now rather exhausted from her sudden loss of chakra, she passed her delicate fingers along the small, moon shaped marking upon her face, underneath her left eye like a tiny little mole. It brimmed with a giant pool of chakra, though she new that she was still far from the raw power of the monsters that now walked upon two legs within the village. A devilish grin crossed her face at the thought of the titans fighting amongst one another for that silly hat. She let out a trilling laugh as she finished up the sauce she was preparing for the lump of reddish brown meat hiding beneath the platter next to her. That Voltaire, the man who she assumed would become the next Sand King by virtue of his swift action towards the throne, presented an interesting fellow. He'd summoned that giant spider, something fascinating, but had used it more like a bludgeon than a scalpel. He was no promising to her research though, which was a pity. Well, outside of his bijuu at least, but she did not have a huge interest in those things. | |

| Hiro, the sand demon, seemed to have little going for him, neither gifted in the realm of rulership nor in his own skills. He relied quite heavily upon that sand of his, she estimated, and while a useful tool those tools could be removed. Beyond that he did not possess any clan or secret abilities to protect or aid him, though she could of course be mistaken. Best to keep her eyes open. He would likely not be helpful with research either and, once again, she felt a brief wave of disappointment wash over her. Even the invading man, the shark loon, possessed nothing in particular that she could use. Gills, perhaps, but those were a dime a dozen in the koi ponds. Obviously she did not have much time to examine his particular adaptations, but the ease with which the village had dispatched him did not bode well for his clan. No matter, for the main dish was now complete. | |

| Unfortunately, she seemed to have been placed within a village which lacked specialized powers, though that girl she had healed showed promise. She would be powerful, no doubt, and the monstrosity which had tainted her could be dealt with. Usagi knew this. She cut into the heart on her plate and took a bite, relishing as the cells fell apart within her mouth and replenished her, reforging her into a stronger entity than before. Divine. She had tossed the bits of meat into a lovely little salad, warm heart pieces served over a bed of exotic greenery and coated lightly in a simple vinaigrette; nothing overly extravagant. A summer meal. When finished, she moved the dishes aside and stood, cleaning off her hands and mouth before venturing downstairs to her basement, picking up a small vial as she went. | |

| She could bring him back was all. She could make the shark man come back to life, though she would need to abduct some poor soul to make it happen. Perhaps a traveler? The real issue was not in the revival, for he may even be able to provide some interesting information, but in the effort of it all. Was it worth it to summon up the remains of someone who had so... underwhelmed her? Opening up a refrigeration unit, she placed the biological matter within, tucked away for when she would make up her mind. She wouldn't, she figured, but perhaps it would be useful to have him by her side if for no other reason than to dispatch him to Iwa, the land his group had taken. If only that brain had been more readily accessible, but she would never have been able to dally longer than she did that day. A pity all around. | |
