Appearance: Okita is a reasonably tall young woman with a athletic frame that doesn't boast the extent of her strength. She appears quite lean in her physique but not in a way that would lose her more attractive features as a result. She has an shapely frame with a reasonable bust that isn't so large that it would be a pain to get around for her. She has a fair complexion which is resistant to the sun despite most of her tone not handling the rays very well. Her hands and feet are calloused from her training which are moulded to fit her sword quite comfortably.

She has deep golden eyes which strangely shift with the use of her skills and use of chakra, an example of this is the way that her normally golden eyes can sometimes appear as shades of blue, green and even silver. This is not something that indicates an effect or anything, it is a purely aesthetic trait which varies at times. She has an elfin face with a cute vibe to it when she's not serious and her facial features soften. The look is complete with her hair framing her face neatly and in a bob cut. She has bangs that don't extend past her chin. Her hair is a soft blonde colour which can sometimes have a pinkish tone in some lighting and it is relatively well-maintained despite her rough lifestyle.

She has a few scars on her body from her life. One running along her back where she attained from a fight with another swordsman in her younger years. Her attire varies a lot at times. Sometimes she dresses like a teenager and can easily be mistaken for one by the villagers while other times she dresses in something more appropriate of her status. A lot of the time it comes down to how she feels at the time.

Personality: To give it to you simple Okita is a character that enjoys leading people down a trail of her own making. She is quite intelligent and a lot of that is directed towards how people think and understanding them. Unlike petty ninja she does not require genjutsu or lame eye tricks to get what she wants out of people due to being quite capable of working it out for herself. It is something she takes great pleasure in too, one of her favourite pass times will often be to simply sit on the roofs of Sunagakure and watch the world transpire below her while trying to accurately guess what is happening from observation. She has an excellent skill in the art of focus, being able to even enter the highest level mental state to a swordsman where total focus can be achieved and her awareness to go up substantially.

Okita is a relatively quirky person that finds enjoyment in teasing and being very informal towards people. She has a great deal of pride and sometimes even refers to herself as Sunagakure's finest swordsman which also has something to do with the lack of them around for the most part. Her age and appearance disguises her true level of wisdom and expertise, being something of a prodigy in some fields. She has a low opinion of ninjutsu and the ninja way but does not mind it's presence around her. She simply avoids having it shoved in her face and being expected to swallow it.

She is deeply loyal to those she cares about and will do anything to protect them when they work their way into her heart. She is loyal to Sunagakure but at the same time she is more loyal to her clan and will do what she feels is best for them. So long as Sunagakure and her are on the same page though all is well. She is honourable outside of a fight but when it comes to a fight she changes her stance to be that a fight is nothing more than a fight for life and does everything in her power to survive rather than succumb to honour and the issues that can arise from it.

Character History: She was born the mysterious Seung clan of the Land of Iron, yes the Land of Iron not Shimogakure. She was born eight years before the clan would be chased away from their homeland and forced into Sunagakure but that comes later. Okita was named after her grandfather despite it being a male name her mother felt it fit her well. She was raised with an older sister and her mother and father too. The sword was taught to her as young as three, being raised from the very get-go to be a master of the sword and own her clan's skills. Her sister was the light of the clan, the prodigal child that rose quickly through the clan's teachings while she slugged behind in comparison. There had been hopes that she would've been born male due to the clan's strict belief of only two children per parent but alas it was not to be.

Despite this she was still treated right amongst her peers. She entered into being taught the art of Shinmeiryuu, their clan's swordsmanship. She showed excellent promise in the art of Zekken, the Decisive Blade, Okita's capability in this particular school out-scaled her peers to incredibly high-levels. Even surpassing her own sister in the school despite not having anywhere near her own sister's level of skill in other areas. She continued to explore this route of swordsmanship while trying her best with the other areas. By the age of eight she was proficient with a sword and next came the hard part of learning her clan's bloodline. Their ebb and flow. She had to put herself into the perfect balance to use it. Many weeks of meditation had to be done before she could even scratch the surface of the skill.

After enough time and effort was dedicated she finally unlocked her clan's trait. Being able to perceive the energy around her was the first step. This was only the first step of her training. Shortly after this landmark feat within her training there would be exodus of her clan from the Land of Iron. During this period her sister would be a victim of the violent clash that occurred before they fled. Leaving her alone Okita felt scorn towards Shimogakure for killing her sister unjustly but could do nothing to otherwise avenge or have done anything to stop it at the time either. After a few weeks of travel they arrived within the Land of Wind and settled a distance from Sunagakure. In this armistice and fragile peace Okita was able to continue her training of her clan's ability and eventually began to learn how to control the motion of energy. With this she was pushed to join the ranks of Sunagakure to ensure a peace continued between the two and to ensure the village would not turn on them like Shimogakure did.

Entering into the acadamy she quickly graduation with her kenjutsu under the illusion of ninjutsu. Through her entire time as a genin she did not once use or go out of her way to give up her samurai ways and only took the title kunoichi for the sake of being a soldier of the village. After graduating her chuunin exams she was offered a promotion to special jounin shortly there after due to the skill she displayed in the exams.
