Chakra Training 2[P]

Raiden had been meandering through the Sea of Hamura for a while now, doing various kinds of training. It wasn't an odd thing to see the young man training, as that is what he spent a majority of his time doing. But, One might be surprised to see him training just his chakra control. Most ninja his age were all about learning fancy jutsu, but Raiden was much more pragmatic and found that the most practical thing for him to devote his time to would be chakra control and how to optimize its usage within any jutsu he uses. He would stand upside down on a cliff face, molding chakra throughout his body. This is the best way to practice chakra control. He would strain his reserves to their limit with his training so that he could come out ready to make it in any fights he might come across. It wouldn't take more than a few minutes for him to start feeling the pressure of doing this intense of training, but he knew it would be worth it in the end.

He would continue to push his chakra throughout his body, making sure to keep a steady supply to the soles of his feet, lest he fall. He decided to take a moment and formed a ball of water in his hands, whilst also keeping a few leaves stuck to his body at different places. It would go fine for around five minutes before it seemed like his body gave out and all his chakra ended causing him to fall. He would think fast though using his hands with chakra supplied to them to catch the wall and then would find himself standing on it again, albeit sideways as opposed to upside down. It was now that he decided that he needed to focus on his speed when using this technique, so he would begin dashing around the side of the cliff as fast as he could. It was difficult at first, but after a while it became almost second nature to him and he decided to try something else. He would walk down the side of the cliff and would make his way to a small lake he had seen on his way here, to practice water walking.

Once he finally reached the lake, he would immediately take a few slow steps onto the surface. He would wobble some due to his lack of true balance, this was his first real use of the technique since he learned it. It wouldn't be long before there was an influx of people graduating from he academy or the Jonin exams. He needed to not only focus on improving his chakra control, but he needed to learn more jutsu and even more elements. His battle with his father had taught him a lot about not only versatility, but strategy within a battle rather than relying on spontaneity and instinct. He knew he would need to be much stronger if he wanted to fight anyone who may pose a threat to him or his family. He had decided long ago that he would do everything in his power to protect not only himself but his family as well.  It would be in the midst of this train of thought, that Raiden realized he was standing perfectly still on the surface of the lake. Progress at its finest.

He would then take the time to skid his way across the lake at maximum speed, pushing his newfound proficiency with the technique to its limits. He was happy with the progress he was making thus far and was excited to make more progress. He could feel that his chakra was increasing, the more he strained his pools, the stronger his chakra levels became and the more powerful he would become in addition to this fact. The more chakra he had the longer he could make a battle last or the more powerful jutsu he could use in quick succession without worrying about running out. He had several very taxing jutsu that he really couldn't use now without risking fatigue or unconsciousness. But, he had faith that this would increase his ability to use jutsu like that with less worry. He just needed to keep his head to the ground, pushing through. He could feel that his levels were increasing, but he just had a small block left to get over.

He felt his energy slowly come back, filling his tank ever so slowly. It would take quite a while to naturally fill it back to the tip top, but it was time he had. Since he had come out here with the sole reasoning of training to get stronger, he had the patience and time to do so, so he would do it the proper way. It just took time and effort to grow, he would put in both. Making a final push, he could feel his chakra surge again, multiplying the amount he had, growing steadily. He would need a break after this one though, as it took more out of him than he anticipated. He put more into the seal and then took a moment to rest and catch his breath before he rose and began to collect wood and things to supply himself fire and shelter for the night, as the white desert night was a cold, lonely place. He also hunted for a few hares to eat.
