The Dreamer's Dream Empty
PostSubject: The Dreamer's Dream   The Dreamer's Dream EmptyThu Sep 06, 2018 12:42 am

In the distance he saw an enormous animal feeding on the fruit of a tree, about fifty meters yonder. The animal too looked far larger than he was used to seeing. He walked towards it and as he drew near noticed something odd. He felt no fear, and neither did the animal. He went over to pet the beast, and found it was responsive to his touch as though tender. Gekkido had never been someone of tender feel, and had not received much affection from anyone or anything much less an animal. He’d shown more mercy to animals than humans quite often, and knew at this moment why. He trusted the intentions of animals more than that of humans. And in an even stranger sense, he felt more connected to them. He departed from the beast and turned to see that the moutain-circled fields around him had turned into a great ocean upon which he now stood. Waves all around rushed, and there was a storm above. It was clear to him now that each and every stage his spirit took him was mean to represent something going on inside of him as well as potentially something about his destiny. The waves and the oceans moved but he stood firmly in the center.

The Dreamer's Dream Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Dreamer's Dream   The Dreamer's Dream EmptyThu Sep 06, 2018 12:42 am

Suddenly and without warning, Gekkido fell through the center of the water to the ocean floor. Again, this happened so gracefully and with such magical rapture that it was more pleasurable than painful. He looked up from the seabed all around him and saw nothing but enormous animals drifting through the ocean in bliss, without any such care as those he normally experienced. The relationships in nature were different in this spirit world, there lacked the existence of true danger and fear. Everything from the wind to the ants understood its role in existing and living, and there was silent contented joy. It started to catch onto Gekkido and he now found himself rapidly drifting upwards towards the surface, albeit with less effort than typically required. He reached the surface and with a small flash of light found that he was now in the sky. He looked up and saw an ocean of stars instead of the water he’d just been in. It was nighttime now, or so he thought. He looked back and realized that he was somehow leaving Earth. He continued upwards through the clouds effortlessly now guided only by the light of a full moon which became ever so clear as he drifted towards it.

The Dreamer's Dream Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Dreamer's Dream   The Dreamer's Dream EmptyThu Sep 06, 2018 12:43 am

It was so clear he was in some kind of powerful spiritual dream, for getting to the moon from the earth was like walking across the street. Or flying, in this case. He flew towards the blank rock only to find that he was staring at some kind of illusion. For as he entered into its atmosphere, he peered in through the clouds and saw….
Life.

The dream ended.

Gekkido felt a shock go through his entire body and his heart was not beating for a time. He quickly came back to life and found himself staring around in the grave-room of the kings of the Kaguya. He looked around and saw that steam and lightning dripped from his naked body as he stood in the same place he’d began. The room around him smelled of burnt rock, as though the entire room had been set on fire. He looked around with wide eyes to see where the source of such fansastic visions were, his eyes finally drifting down to the symbol below him. His feet were singed to the point of having lost feeling, and his whole body trembled as if coming off of a day-long euphoric trip.

The Dreamer's Dream Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Dreamer's Dream   The Dreamer's Dream EmptyThu Sep 06, 2018 12:43 am

He began to hobble towards the entrance of room, unsure of what to say or think really. He placed his hand on the door, having no chakra left to properly activate the door to open. He began to weep as he came to his knees. One might as why. The truth was that he had experienced a beauty and a joy that he knew he did not deserve nor would ever experience in anything other than a dream like what he had just experienced. It was a beauty that could only be possible in a world where war and death were not neccessary; he did not nor could he live in that kind of world. What he was about to do to the world he lived in was shameful in comparison to what he’d just seen. Senseless expressions of agony and longing betook the young kaguya for about five minutes. Afterwards, his reason slowly began to return to him as he confronted his fears and expectations. He realized that what he feared most was that he would never come to a place like where he just traveled to, a place where he would be put where he belonged; on a throne. A place where he would be accepted for who he was, and even cherished for it.

The Dreamer's Dream Empty
PostSubject: Re: The Dreamer's Dream   The Dreamer's Dream EmptyThu Sep 06, 2018 12:44 am

He knew such joy was possible, and slowly but surely realized it was even possible on earth. What he did know, however, was that much death would be necessary before it was a reality. He gained a feeling of nobility that began to define him as he arose. He no longer felt like a villain, but for once like a hero. Like someone’s whose ideals and noble ambitions would one day save the world, not destroy it. He just needed to align who he was with the myth that was about to become his life. He had to become the man that would make the myth possible. The man that would make the story a myth. He arose with a feeling of power and nobility that was… truly a set of feelings that only belonged to the gods.

He clenched his fists as he arose, and his eyes began to glow a bright purple as a magnetic and invisible aura became him. Gekkido knew for the first time since he was born - that his existence was necessary. That not only was he who he always wanted to be, but that he’d been training to be that man all along. That his greatest fear had just been squashed. The fear that he would never become who he was destined to be. He knew now that the gods and spirits invisible had been conspiring since the beginning of his existence to ensure that he came to this point. The point where he was ready to be the catalyst for the greatest change the earth had experienced since the conception of mankind. He felt his power return to him, and once more touched the door with a single finger, setting it ablaze with purple chakra. The door split open with the power overload and Gekkido returned to the main service room. In that room was a higher area where the priests used to give service and hold meetings. There in the center seat of the priest sat the old man who’d told him about this place. He walked towards the man, still naked but unashamed, curious as to the part he played in what he’d just been through.
