The Meet

The Kage’s office shared a balcony that faced the ocean and gave the Mizukage a perfect view of the entirety of his nation. It was a view to be envied, and one fit only for a man of great introspection and reflection. Those kind of men were those who made decisions each day that affected millions; men like Senjiro Nara. It was ten minutes past the initial start of the sunset and Gekkido had regrouped from his celestial experience in the woods and come to greet his friend for the first true meeting they’d had in months. Always under the watch of many government officials, this was the first time they’d be able to speak with one another as true friends’ heart to heart. The brokenness in Gekkido had been overcome now with that feeling of resolve and absolution that a man gains when he realizes the difference between his destiny and his goals. The former has a kind of magnetic effect on the soul, constantly calling out and drawing you closer and closer to itself, and yet offering no resistance when one departs. Destiny is not a jealous lover, but it is a passionate one. Gekkido had found himself in the temples of his forebears, and he had crystalized a plan so powerful and dynamic that it changed the very chemistry of his mind and heart. He knew now that what he once saw as a fantasy was his reality and his magnetic purpose and destiny.

He wore all black, with a purple crescent moon on his back symbolizing the Kaguya clan. A short sleeve black shirt, baggy black pants and black silk boots that looked like those of a sultan. Gekkido lifted on leg atop the ledge of the balcony and looked out towards the rest of the village and yonder towards the endless boundary of the sea. It was a Friday and Senjiro would be getting off work late and likely heading out to have a drink or take a walk by the beach side. Though they had not spoken often, Gekkido kept a close eye on Senjiro at all times. In his left hand flickered a FTG kunai, his right hand simply dangling by his side in relaxation as the soft breeze embraced him. He patiently awaited the arrival of his friend...

Five years ago, many thought Senjiro's current position a mere pipe dream. Senjiro was an outsider in the minds of many. It took sometime for others to get to know all about him. Five years to be precise. During those five years, the village had come to know prosperity and stability. Senjiro was so far living up to expectations. But every time he pondered his position, he was reminded on how it all came to pass. The blue ghost of Kirigakure was in his mid teens when he met Gekkido. Ever since then both men had traversed the Shinobi world walking the same path. So far, everything was going according to plan. It was Senjiro's desire to become the Mizukage, meanwhile Gekkido echoed those sentiments. Here they are now some years later ready to put other plans into motion. It was frightening, the madness which spews forth from Gekkido. At times, one could not help but sit back and listen a while. Here he was again on his way to meet his old friend. Its been far too long since they sat down and traded insults.

Senjiro made his way onto the balcony where Gekkido currently sat. One leg atop the ledge of the balcony gazing off into the distance. The eyes of the Mizukage took note of the kunai in Gekkido's hand. The sun was beginning to set and how beautiful it was. The Mizukage stepped forward and stopped right next to Gekkido. Here he was with Samehada on his back. His other weaponry sealed, namely the Ametsuchi Ono. Senjiro still sported Shokkou, along with his usual garments. Senjiro also drew his own FTG kunai and spun it on his right index finger. "Amazing, is it not? I can get used to this. Tell me, what news have you brought me today?". The Nara simply asked with a devilish smirk on his face.

Gekkido looked yonder as the sun set over the calm ocean, a smile creeping over his face.
Lightning crackled softly through and about his body and a dark purple aura began to emanate off of him effortlessly. Teasing Samehada some, and bragging at Senjiro who no doubt could sense the enormous difference in his chakra since they last met.

“It’s time," he said with a soft chuckle.

He knew Senjiro would understand what that meant. For though they’d been separated by life etc. they were two halves of the same soul. The inception that had been planted in Senjiro’s soul by Gekkido so many years back could not be erased by the illusion of a normal life. First a man tries to find himself in the world, only later to realize that it has found itself inside of him. Gekkido had faith that this had not happened to his friend, however. He’d seen too much corruption and greed to ever become one of them. Gekkido had come back at the perfect time, to remind him of who he was and what they’d set out to do.

“The world is ready for us to make our entrance, and its time we had a little fun after all this work eh?”

Gekkido stopped to chuckle evily as his head turned left now to make eye contact with Senjiro, revealing how his eyes had picked up an ambience to them, glowing in the darkness of the coming night.
“I want you to come on a little vacation with me, Godaime. It’s time for you to show you what I’ve really been up to these past five years.”

With those words, LRA was activated, and a seal was placed on Senjiro’s chest before Gekkido took to the ledge in front of him.

“Try to keep up,” he said with a wink.

And with that, the devilish Kaguya sped off into the night.

Gekkido’s eyes widened as he was stopped in his tracks. He found himself laughing as Senjiro forced him to undergo placing a seal on himself and then on Senjiro. He allowed the silly ritual to happen because he knew it was Senjiro thinking ten steps ahead as usual. He was released from the childish binding technique and then proceeded to walk past Senjiro with lightning flickering even more aggressively.

“That is the last time any man controls me,” he said jokingly.

He then jumped off the ledge and sped off into the distance. It was best that he get a head start since Senjiro could teleport to where he was at any moment anyways.
