Makoto Senju [Training]

Makoto walked through the streets this time he was prepared to train by himself. He needed to invest in training for something different. His training with Rei had given him taijutsu and he was already good at ninjutsu but he wanted more. His scorch was fairly dangerous to use seeing that it took the life out of almost anybody he touched which sucked so he had to be careful but he just decided not to use it until he became stronger as a ninja . Hokage. He thought to himself. That was his goal, that was his passion. He wanted to unite the villages together so world peace could be achieved but then again he knew how hard that could be with the village’s at hand and their history in the past, although Makoto did not care he would figure out a way. He walked onto the training ground’s it was a beauty, the trees were blowing in the wind along with the grass. He walked over to the river and looked onto the river.

“Katon and Raiton are uncontrollable and chaotic , while Doton and Futon are practically made to be controlled and shaped to the users needs. Suiton can be controlled while being chaotic and uncontrollable. It's the perfect defense and offense if used correctly. From a mist to a storm, a trickle to a ocean almost anything can be achieved. Strong against fire and can easily be worked with other elements to form deadly combos, it is not without its own weapon” He mumbled to himself as he stuck his hand into the water and felt the chakra moved around his hand.

Makoto breathed in slightly gathering his chakra he performed the half tiger seal and held it for a few brief seconds. After awhile he noticed that a thick fog was now beginning to roll in which was odd as it, did not seem to be a sign of fog when Makoto stepped outside. Makoto thought about it for a second as he thought that maybe he created the fog. Makoto remembered a technique used by Kirigakure Shinobi known as the Hidden Mist Jutsu. The technique was rather basic but in Makoto’s case it was an adequate step in training his newfound skill, he thought now highly of himself believing that he was now a pretty big deal. To be from Konohagakure and learn an element that was in fact, opposite of the idea and vision that the village represented. Water was the basics of Mokuton which was what Makoto wanted and needed to feel like he could lead the Senju. The Hyuga had the Byakugan to keep their clan under control and the Uchiha had the Sharingan. Makoto had to get Mokuton, it was the only thing giving him enough power to calm everybody else down. Mokuton had the power to calm Bijuu down, Makoto was sure this was the first key to world peace, which was his goal in the first place.

Makoto felt comfortable enough with the Suiton element as he looked around him. The grass was as green as ever, it never disappointed in Konoha . Onto the next element he needed in his arsenal. Senju were known for Mokuton but rarely anyone got to that, the key to it was Suiton and Doton together to create plant life. Makoto knelt down and rubbed his hands across the ground, he picked up a pinch of dirt in his hands as he smiled. This was for sure his next element to learn. Makoto knew enough about Doton to try to practice it. Doton was mainly for defensive purposes , although it could very well also be used for offensive purposes but they weren’t often used. Makoto figured himself using Doton for more of Walls and Barriers for protection. With the Doton release you could do as much as make the earth around you as strong as steel or make it as soft as clay, the possibilities were endless and Makoto knew this. The best way to start concentrating with Doton was the snake seal anyway, which Makoto was familiar with due to the Nara clan using it quite often. He put his hands together as the seal formed within his hands and he closed his eyes concentrating his chakra.

As Makoto began to knead chakra within himself it felt different that it had with Shakuton or with Suiton. With Shakuton the chakra was particularly warm which was expected due to the nature it entailed and with Suiton the chakra was more of a free form ordeal, it was almost whatever shape you wanted to be and it moved freely without any issues. With Doton it felt more solid than Suiton but also stronger. Makoto expected this however as he began to slightly open his eyes he thought about the pros and cons to Doton. Doton fit with his Suiton making him able to create Mokuton so that was a pro and even still Doton beats Suiton every time last time he checked with his father, however Raiton was very strong towards Doton as it easily can travel through it. Fuuton and Katon don’t really affect it that much which was good in Makoto’s case seeing that he knew Suna had a lot of Fuuton users although Konoha had multiple Katon users. Makoto opened his eyes wider as he looked around him, his snake seal was still intact as he breathed in deeply before releasing Doton chakra into his knee. Dust flew everywhere, time to begin.

Makoto release the seal as he stood up from the ground, he walked over to an area with just dirt and grass. He rubbed his hands together to warm them up as he performed more hand seals before slamming his hands into the ground. He felt the presence within the earth, the density and began shaping and manipulating it to his every will. A rather large sculpture like statue emerged in the shape of a golem. A large warrior was created as a monument to prove his understanding of the earth element. If he learned the official jutsu behind this we would almost be impossible to beat. Doton combined with Suiton also gives him the Mokuton element, sacred to the Senju clan. This future looked promising for him and achieving this element only put him one step closer to his goal of Hokage. He would smile as he ran to the Ramen shop for lunch.

Makoto had become quite powerful over the days that have passed when you are putting to perspective his water elemental abilities, now what was needed was the average ninjutsu strength being developed to a better state. He would this time take a trip up to a nearby mountain right outside of Konoha to start off. Upon climbing to the halfway mark Makoto would begin his training. Chakra molding is the ultimate testament to the ninjutsu ability and those who have perfected chakra molding have been known to have perfected the Ninjutsu fighting style. Makoto feels the obligation to master the ninjutsu fighting style if he wishes to protect Konoha the way he wishes too so while running he put his hands close together leaving a razor thin space right in between. In that razor thin space in between Makoto began to focus his chakra; closing his eyes to do so Makoto went with pure instinct as he ran up the mountain. Makoto is a wise and intelligent shinobi and he while focusing his energy onto his palm created a bright light type of effect. He had his eyes closed but it didn’t stop the glimmer from appearing in the cracks of his eyes so he opened them to see what the brightness could have been. Expecting the light to be from his palm Makoto was not disappointed though he was caught somewhat in a surprise as he didn’t think the molding of chakra could be so beautiful. Makoto stopped while still having the miniature star in the palm of his hand, “This is my chakra?” Makoto was surprised to see that the color of his chakra was a somewhat silverish white aura and even more surprised by the star shape he created by accident.

[1/5 Expert Ninjutsu Training]

The young Senju was stunned to be able to mold chakra in such a fashion to resemble a star and this development gave him another boost of confidence that he used to rush up the hill again after stopping. With chakra running through the soul of his feet Makoto ran with true intensions to get to his destination and by using the chakra he is subconsciously training his ninjutsu abilities has he runs. While running Makoto feel no need to stop or slow down and because of this he got the tendency to jump over any tree, rock or animal in his way looking at them as an obstacle in his obstacle course. Makoto began using the chakra he was expelling from the souls of his feet in order to boost his jumping prowess and elevate its height. The Senju was looking like a flash of lightning of better yet a white streak as he used his chakra to envelop around his body to resemble an angel. Makoto fought in his own mind on his ability controlling the enveloping chakra and he believed that he could and the reason was because he was doing it, though he believed that this was just an effect do to the cause of him being hyperactive. This would of course not run threw his mind but after creating the star when molding chakra Makoto used that same source of energy to run at a faster speed then that of which he started with.

[2/5 Expert Ninjutsu Training]

Makoto decided on something that might hurt his chances of reaching the top, he thought that it would be better if he was to stop so that he could recreate the effects that he was experiencing now. The Senju noticed as he ran that he was nearing the lake where he finished his water elemental training and then he said out loud, “Maybe I could finish this training here. After all it is pretty peaceful and quite, perfect for my meditation.” Turning down the siverlish chakra tone around his body, Makoto proceeded to walk towards the small lake that he considers now his home.

When getting to the lake he saw where he last removed his clothing so that he can jump in the water. Makoto began walking towards the area where he last settled down and instead of removing his clothing he simply took off his ninja sandals and kept on walking and getting nearer to the lake. As Makoto got close he focused chakra to the bottom of his feet again but this time to walk above the water, this training was a simple training but Makoto seemed to have psychological troubles with the techniques. Of course they were done and done well at that but Makoto’s focus to his ninjutsu ability is way beyond just focusing chakra and releasing it in certain areas. The Senju began training his control of chakra and he began by recreating the star like structure he carried before coming into the lake. Makoto made sure to stand at the center of the lake and when there he simply put his hand together and raised them and created the same start but on a larger scale. The bright chakra nature of the Senju lid up the surrounding mountain and the reflection off the lake could have blinded even god himself if looking directly at it.

[3/5 of Expert Ninjutsu Training]

Makoto after lighting up the lake stayed in that position for a few minutes enlightening the whole area. The Senju was amazed at his own capacity to release chakra in such a way that he gently brought the star down and softly put it on his chest. When the star reached his chest Makotos body began to glow, outlining the Senju with his chakra. This may be a beautiful array of moves but the Senju had a lot of mind power put into the controlling and manipulating of chakra outside of the body. This proved to be a harder task then the water elemental training as the Senju then began to realize the extremity of the Ninjutsu fighting style. The Senju then opened his eyes and looked straight up into the beautiful mid daylight sky. The night was coming soon as and Makoto felt like the flashlight that will light this mountain. He crouched down and prepared himself as he got on a jumping position. Longing himself upward the Senju looked to have been flying as he reached his highest point in the air. Usually a human being would not have reached the heights that the Senju reached but the jump mixed with the chakra he built up created a fantastic effect. The time was surely there as Makoto body flickered once reaching the highest point and landed on the ground where he left his sandals and secants after he darted out of the lake. As Makoto ran he’s body was still embedded in the chakra that he released and this made the run a bit faster than what it would have been. Makoto started to like training his ninjutsu, seeing now that training ninjutsu is nothing but training period. Training everything you would do in a normal every day base but try and focus your chakra and realize how the chakra decides to move is the secret to this ninjutsu fighting style. Makoto began noticing this reality and made a pact to himself. “As Future Hokage, I will take it upon myself to train the water elemental ninjutsu to its highest degree while at the same time training the ninjutsu fighting style.” This pact was a self-told one as Makoto needed to tell nobody but himself not to back down on his dreams and aspirations.

[4/5 Expert Ninjutsu Training]

The Senju finally reached the top. It was a long time since he climbed this large mountain; the Senju was a younger boy at the time of the climb so everything seemed new to Makoto. Using all the chakra in his body Makoto reached the top of the mountain with great speed and when getting here Makoto looked more like a relaxed person instead of someone that wants to train. The Senju was relaxed because he enjoyed the peace the mountain ranges bring and the quietness in the open space, literally all that is heard is the small animals that barely even make a sound. Makoto may have used a lot of chakra but this calming moment seemed to be more of a rejuvenating moment for him as Makoto felt the chakra within his body build itself up and every secant spent in that mountain was time given back to Makoto’s training. This was incredible; the effect a relaxing moment has on the body. Being at the point that nothing could be better Makoto realized that what he needed was to meditate to get his chakra and thus his ninjutsu ability in more of a balanced state. Makoto took off his sandals once again and sat cross legged right where he stood. When positioned properly the Senju put his hands on his lap so that he could relax the muscles in his arm. After that idea came to his head Makoto quickly stood up as he noticed he has been away from the village for quite some time now and it is about that time that he gets back to his home.

Makoto decided on this day that it would be good to learn Bukijutsu. He had borrowed a katana from his neighbor and decided if he someone managed to get somewhat good at Bukijutsu that he would continue to train and buy his own katana. He came dressed with a white t shirt and his normal ninja pants but both his legs were wrapped due to the fact of not wanting to accidentally cut himself. He had the katana sheathed but he carried it along his shoulder to the training grounds

It took him a little longer to get to the training field due to the fact of wanting to be careful seeing that he had a weapon on his shoulder, not only that but something he wasn’t familiar with. He got to the training grounds and laid the weapon down before looking around to make sure nobody was near him due to not wanting to accidently kill anybody. He chuckled to himself and murmered “This is gonna be a long day.”

[1/3 of Bukijutsu Training]

Makoto would pull out the sword as it gleamed in the sunlight. Makoto knew a couple things about Bukijutsu, like the fact that you could generate chakra through the blade with enough training under your belt. He also knew that All ninja use a weapon at some time or another during their careers, but not all do so regularly. Weapons could be just as useful on the battlefield as any other jutsu in a ninja's arsenal, either due to the weapon's design, its special abilities, or the unique way in which a ninja combines it with his or her other skills.

The main sword’s Makoto even knew of were the Hidden Mist Swords, his favorite being Samehada. He would come back to reality as he noticed he had a katana in his hand as he stretched it out to its full length combined with the length of his arm. He would walk over to one of the trees choosing it to practice on, he would most likely dull the blade with this type of training but his neighbor told him to have it , since he was serving the village.

[2/3 of Bukijutsu Training]

Makoto would swipe once at the log with the blade, as it shade the side of it curling the bark off the tree. Makoto would smirk as he began to continue at once as the more he swung the more bark would fly off the tree. He examine the sword as he noticed it beginning to dull just as he thought. This katana wasn’t really meant for slashing it was more meant for piercing than anything but Makoto didn’t care he was learning the blade which would make him effective in Bukijutsu. He would sheath the sword and put it back on his shoulder and make his way back to his house.

Makoto had to get his own katana, as he thought to himself. He would get it custom made especially with the rumor of exams surfacing it would be in his best interest to be prepared for them . No matter the cost.

[3/3 of Bukijutsu Training]

Well it was a normal day for Konohagakure, the sun was up, the sky was clear and the chuunin exams were still in play. Makoto had again woken up early. “Damn I can’t make this a habit” Today Makoto was feeling different. Instead of eating his usual rice cakes he decided to go eat some ramen for breakfast. After a bite, he decides on the Pork ramen. Makoto thinks in his head while he eats 'Hmm a week ago I learn 4 jutsu’s in one day, I think I’m going to try to learn a few today too. After all I do wanna be Hokage. I would have to get my jutsu to an Hokage ranking.' Makoto at the time knew very few Raiton jutsu. Actually, he only knew one. “Alright so if I can learn a couple more Raiton jutsu, I should be set on my way to ranking up. After all, Raiton is an assassin’s element. Perfect for Hokage.”

Makoto had to start off his Raiton training with getting a feel for the actual release which would take some time. Doton which was more of a solid element, the chakra hard to move and shape but once you caught the handle on it you were fine and Suiton which is the most versatile element, easy to do anything with Raiton was more of a jumpy element. Jumpy as in the chakra itself was extremely hard to control and catch grasp of. It’s like having a bunny rabbit in your chakra pool and trying to keep it under control as well as use him to your advantage. Makoto was fine with it though because he knew how strong Raiton could be. It had the power to destroy villages, and not only that but the best users also happened to be faster than people who wouldn’t use Raiton which was a big pro on the pros and cons list.

Makoto watched his hands as he tried to concentrate his Raiton element to his hands but nothing but gusts of wind shot out...it was clear that Makoto was rusty in concentrating his chakra down to its specifics but nothing a little training couldn't do. Taking an offensive stance, Makoto charged his body with the Raiton element, short outbursts of lightning crackled from his body as he raised his knee up to eye level before kicking up his leg, a short jolt shooting from the tip of his toes. He was rather surprised that even worked! maybe he wasn't as rusty as he had thought. That was until he decided to chance something.

Bringing his leg back down to the floor, Makoto took a more crouching stance, bringing his leg back and raising his right hand, hand straight and flat upward as he closed his eyes. He could feel his Raiton charge up and build as he held it in longer with each passing moment, just before he decided to release it all at once, the bolts shooting outwards...his body gave in and collapsed as he had potentially paralyzed himself. Still fully conscience, he dropped down and hit the dirt, skidding slightly across the ground; the dirt picking up on his cheek as he let out a small grunt...

"Oh, for the love of god...I have to be the most pathetic ninja yet! Being brought down by my own element..." He bitched, a slight jolt of nerves shot through his body as he shuddered. He couldn't move his upper body nor could he move his legs but for some reason his hips were still rather lively. Oh, dear god...enter incredibly embarrassing moment here much? He raised his hips as high as he could and tried to push to the best of his ability. He resembled a mentally disabled caterpillar...pushing for dear life. Rather funny to look at first but it seemed rather sad after a while.

After an hour or something of wriggling about on the spot with very little success, the paralysis wore off and Makoto was free to move about again but with the sensation of pins and needles he found it hard to move and very...very awkward...

He eventually got to his feet and rested against the cold stone walls around him, looking up into the clear blue skies. Maybe it was time to take a small break...training up and element wasn't all that easy...apparently or maybe Makoto was just poor in advancing as quickly as others. Either way...no wait...it's not time to have a break, the day was still on and the life of Konohagakure was buzzing! Makoto began to feel lazy and slightly pathetic. not this time. He pushed himself up to his feet, staggering slightly as he got up. He panted once and cracked his neck from right to left, followed by the cracking of his knuckles; the surge of warmth rushing as the blood continued through his body. His mind would open up to other thoughts trying to avoid going back to Raiton

“Although I need to get out and travel. Being in Konoha all my life. It would be nice to go to Suna or Kumo for a week or so.” Seeing that this is ninjutsu practice Makoto really has no point of trying to warm up with his taijutsu training. Instead he opens the scroll wide open and begins to read.

“The user generates a large amount of Raiton from their hands, which can also be passed through conductive materials to improve the electrical power of the technique, to attack foes. Left on its own, it can deal a shock to opponents on contact. Hand Seals consist of Rabbit-Dog-Boar-Ram-Rat.” Makoto gets right down to work. Seeing that he has somewhere about average control over his chakra, he begins to meditate it. “ALRIGHT!!! LET’S DO THIS” Makoto yells. He begins forming his hand seals with ease (which he’s been getting better at) Rabbit-Dog-Boar-Ram-Rat. Makoto suddenly feels a burst of chakra within his hands. He aims them forward and releases. Expecting a burst of it. He receives a little spark from his hands. “Hmph, let me try that again. I think that was a fluke” He begins gaining chakra once more. “Rabbit, Dog, Boar, Ram, Rat” Makoto announces as he forms the hand seals. He feels another surge of energy. This time he focuses into the move. He does the same exact thing this time without fail. A burst of Raiton comes out right into the middle of the tree in front of him.

It spits the small tree right in half. Makoto smiles quickly and decides to test the move 1 more time. He runs over to the pond as he walks onto it. Makoto smiles again evilly and performs the same move but while on the pond. “Rabbit, Dog, Boar, Ram Rat” Makoto remembers from the academy that Raiton is weak against Fuuton, but is strong against Suiton for its ability to conduct electricity. He jumps up around 5 meters and while in the air he fires the jutsu into the pond. Raiton it up like Konoha on Christmas. It causes a loud noise deafening Makoto for the moment and probably a few people near the training ground. Makoton lands next to the pond as it begins to calm back down. He smirks and pulls a rice cake out his pocket and begins to eat it. “Haha that wasn’t too shabby.” He goes over to the scroll and rolls it up as he begins on his next jutsu. “I will only get strong from here!” He rolls the scroll out wide and once again reads it out loud. “After performing the needed hand seals, the user releases a discharge of electricity that fires several destructive disks which hone in on the target. The disks cannot make 90 degree turns. Hand seals consist of Monkey-Ox-Boar-Tiger” After reading he stares at the word destructive. “Hehe let’s go!” Makoto throws the scroll down and begins starting his jutsu training. “Monkey,Ox,Boar,Tiger!” he quotes as his hands move into position. He focuses his chakra and he sees a small disk form as it fires.. It cuts halfway into a tree Makoto happened to be staring at the time..

Makoto looks at his hands as if they did something wrong. “Damn what went wrong, maybe I didn’t have enough chakra.” Makoto charges up his chakra then goes right back to the move. “Monkey Ox Boar Tiger!” He glares at the same tree. This time around 7 disks fire but they fire into unknown places. Makoto begins to rest on one knee, due to chakra fatigue. While resting he begins his process of thinking. “Alright if I have enough chakra to do it why isn’t the jutsu working.. OH shoot. I have to control it more to get it to fire at the right area. They all fire but I have to control them too as the fly. Hmph. I understand the concept now.” Makoto raises to one knee and begins to start it right back up. He focuses his chakra while gaining it. This will most likely be his last time being able to do this move for a little bit do to the chakra drain he puts on his body. He forms the seals slowly still focusing on his control of chakra. “Monkey…..Ox…..Boar….Tiger” Makoto quotes them in his head. He points his hand up as they begin to fire, there are 7 of them. Still focusing on the same tree. With more speed that Makoto can move himself they hit the tree at once. As there is a blinding from all the light, Makoto walks over to check the damage. He sees there are 8 almost evenly chopped pieces of wood. “SUCCESS!” Makoto exclaims as he scrolls the scrolls back up and walk back to the library.

Makoto would take a deep breath as he raised the bow up and with one eye looked at his target, a lone black rabbit by itself. Makoto let the bow down and let the arrow rest on the back of the nocking point. This was a new craft, another that Makoto wanted to learn before Chunins although this wouldn’t help him much because he would have to be rather strong for this to have a major affect and he was just average in strength, he didn’t mind though didn’t matter to him he was on a good pace should you look at everything else he accomplished. He felt as though he had put more than enough work into himself to be ready for the exams, which he knew that other genin would as well but his confidence made him think that he could win against anybody.

Makoto sighed at the thought of exams as he lived his bow once more with the arrow on the nocking point but this time drawed back as far as he could pull it. Thud! Is the only sound you would hear as Makoto striked the nearby tree with an arrow around the middle of it.

[1/3 Ranged Bukijutsu Trained]

He was really annoyed at how bad he was at this, but having been strong for so long he had forgotten what it was like to pick up a new weapon and use it. Makoto’s arm would go up with the bow as he had an arrow in the slot and began to pull back, not forgetting to breath with every movement. He then released the arrow as it flew through the air heading for the target but at the last moment drifted to the side hitting the wrong tree. He had managed to get the range, but he then realized the wind was also affecting the arrow. he closed his eyes for a moment taking in his surroundings as he visualized his target.

He began to feel the wind blowing against him from the side as he estimated how far the tree was, his mind kept trying to figure out where he would have to aim to hit the tree. When he was finally done, he took another deep breath as he took a new arrow and prepared it. He then let the arrow fly as it looked like it was going off course when suddenly it curved hitting the tree as he felt happy, finally he was on target.

He then was over joyed as he raised his bow and aimed a second time, followed by a third time then a forth. Every single arrow was hitting the same spot. It became clear why this child was a prodigy, even with a slow start he still had the ability to get ahead. His eyes began to change, his focus was so cold and calculating it would send chills in the spines of normal men. He was aiming to rise up the ranks and become a shinobi who no longer had an equal. He was not one to let himself slack off for too long, he wanted to rise up as fast as he could and as much as he could.

He would pull back the bow one last time to finish off his training aiming in the same spot for the fifth time. The arrow would split the one he had before. Satisfaction. Makoto would think to himself as he put the bow across his back and made his way back to his home.

Makoto would get his bags and run off to a medical tent nearby to work on his medical ninjutsu. He was actually happy this time, he got to learn with others and they would be working on fish which gave him a chance to really learn due to real scenarios.

In his tent where piles of books so he turns and heads back in there. The books he had access to immediately where of the theory of medicine and the study of the human anatomy. He settles cross legged and flips through the books. There were hours of light left so he was bound to be busy at these hours. He had some time. Still the books, while informative shared very little information with him. except one book that suggested fish where a good harmless practice.

It was early afternoon when he moved to the docks and purchased about 17 diffrent kinds of fish. They where already cut open and he intended to try on his own practicing. For now it was to find the level of control to create the green aura without being destructive. He pays for the fish and moves full speed back to his encampment safely behind a screen of rocks from the tide.
