Name: Gōrudo, Mihara
Nickname: The Vanishing Act
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 150 Pounds
Appearance: He's a tall man who has a body seemingly genetically built for combat. He has immensely strong muscles, seemingly built for combat. He also has long limbs, allowing him to fight at roughly middle-ranged, instead of close to where it's easier to get cut down. His arms are also sculpted, to show off the amount of muscle he has in them. His legs are the same; towers of muscle that make him look like a formidable opponent.
This is just how his muscles are crafted, however. There's something most people notice shortly after his massive muscles and height. There's something explicit. His eyes are a green and cut through most things that he looks it. They carry the cocky air that the rest of his body does, but they carry it more intensely. Almost always when he looks at people, does it feel condescending. That's his natural state. Condescension is the best way to describe even his most casual look.
His hair, blonde and somewhat long, allows him a certain level of 'boyishness' to his look. It makes him, sometimes, seem like less of a prick when in reality, he takes pride in its ability to make him look like he is. Something that furthers this look, is the tattoos that he has covering his left arm. They're to draw attention and make him seem like a mature force.
He has had his ears pierced for years, and takes pride in them. He thinks they really complete the package that is his look. This look, of course, is his tendency to draw attention to his eyes.
Other than his physical looks, there are not many outfits he often wears. He often wears a very light-weight shirt on top of his body, so that not even the slightest weight could slow him down. He also wears some sort of shorts, no matter what time of the year. He also likes to wear wooden sandals.

Personality: "You're gifted in the ways of the blade, but you must keep your personality in check." - Shogun Sawasaki, to a 12 year old Gōrudo.
He's always been gifted in the arts a Samurai often is. Bukijutsu, Strength, Taijutsu, Speed; all of that and more. This was even noted by the Shogun himself. This fact bolstered his self-confidence from a young age, making him dangerously confident. He is never one to lack confidence, as those words had inspired him to train more and more. It had the intended effect on a younger, smaller boy.
"Your blade is wild, you need to keep it calm. You leave openings."This is what let to him sort of having two personalities. This isn't quite as extreme as some, but it's large enough to be notable. When he feels like his normal somewhat wild style fails him; he digs into the cold and calculating manner that most samurai are known for. He hates to be like that, as it takes all the fun out of fighting.
"I only fight because it's fun. Not because I'm looking to become stronger or anything."He's not the nicest boy, but realistically, he holds himself to a certain level of honor. He will not resort to dirty tricks to fight use, in fact he refuses to do so. He will only fight you face to face. This is partly where the Orthodox style came from. The Orthodox style does not hide behind any tricks or tactics, and he has been quoted as calling it the following.
"Orthodox style? It's when I stop goofing around."
Other than that, he dislikes ninjas. That's putting it lightly. He thinks Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, all that is being a dirty cheater that makes you less fun to fight. He wants to have a fight, not a dance at long range.
Character History: Gōrudo is a simple human who's become something akin to a monster within his 20s. There's a lot that has happened to turn this man into the monster. There are two events that are said to directly talk about this. About this transformation, and they're labeled aptly.
'The Brith of a Monster' and 'The Rampage of the Monster.'
- Birth of a Monster:
The boy was sent, with one other, to dance the dance of death with some bandits. This was a completely average mission, as far as he was concerned. The other boy, Ishi, was a promising talent. Unlike Gōrudo, Ishi was an idealist. He thought he could reform the nations to become one with the Shinobi. Gōrudo thought that was trash. The Land of Iron had to stand on its own two feet before it could stand next to the people. He knew that Ishi was entirely believing in his dream, but Gōrudo had to shut it down at some point.
"Mihara, don't you think that you should think about it? If we combined, there would be nothing in the world to harm us."
"You have got to be kidding me. I've told you this 100 times! We have to stand on our own before making anything. It's the stupidity of the current Shogun that has caused this."
This was, of course, in the middle of the road. The bandits they were supposed to be hunting tried to get the jump on them. They managed to get a blade through Ishi's chest. Gōrudo just murdered them all, with simple and rather efficient movements. He felt no need to complicate things.
There was a situation once upon a time. An older Mihara decided to be a prick, and go on a mission that should've taken 5 samurai to do, but nooo. He decided to go on his own. Mostly off the record. He wanted to prove that he was the best and wanted to take on 50 bandits on his own, without much effort.
Was he 50 bandits strong? It was unknown at the time, but he was in fact. His blade is an amazingly sharp thing, with it's power equal to its user. He's known this forever, and has never gone anywhere without his blade. That's just how he was. That makes him who he is. He literally sleeps with his blade on his hip. It's actually what saved him here.
He had taken the time to set up his bed and sleep. When he woke up, it wasn't on purpose. It was to an arrow being fired. An arrow that was cut in half. Then about twenty guys appeared. He sat up, placed his hand on his head, and glared at the people who glared at him.
First things first that he had to do, is unsheath his blade. Not much is known what happened after this, as it was a slaughter of immense proportions.
Some have said that he passed human limits in that fight. Some have said that he died. One of those things is, for sure, wrong.
He is still alive, but the Shogun and Land of Iron think he's dead.
