Brains and Bronze [Jei]

Makoto had been at the training field for a little over 5 minutes now. Today was the day he would learn the last element, Futon. This wasn’t going to be that easy for him though, but it would prove itself very useful seeing it would enhance his Katon and enhance whatever weapon he would use. Makoto had already done his taijutsu training as he scuffed up a couple of logs not far from him. He would do some more stretches as he began to focus his chakra to be like the wind as he did with the other elements when he mastered them. Wind was different, it was free, but sharp and quick and had no particular shape. This would be a test to Makoto’s skill in Ninjutsu although he considered himself one of the best in it. Makoto would close his eyes with his hands clapped together as he began to try to get a feel for the Futon chakra although he honestly wished someone was there to keep him company.

He was lost. Not in a slight manner, in a significant manner. He was new to the village, and completely lost. He had lost his team. His team had lost him.  This shouldn't be a problem. Now here's the thing. Jei is a blistering idiot that doesn't actually understand what a sense of direction is; no less actually have one. That was the thing about Jei though, he was an endearing idiot. He stood outside of a training area, and had decided that this was where he needed to go.  Now, most people he knew didn't realize how stupid he was.

Jei had went past the trees, into the clearing to see the boy. There was something, but he was internally concerned.

"amibothersomthing?"

Makoto would raise his eyebrow at the boy as he continued to focus in training his wind chakra. He would try to attempt to do palm strikes away from the boy trying to use his wind chakra to move some grass or something of that sort. Makoto would look at the boy as he spoke up. “Your not bothering me.. My name is Makoto. And you?”

Makoto had a black leather jacket on with his Senju clan symbol stitched on the back in white. He had on his dark navy blue ninja pants and his normal sandals. He would take a good look at the boy as he picked out things about him. It didn’t seem as if he were from a specific clan, he had no clan symbols or anything of that sort. If he did Makoto hadn’t noticed them. Maybe he hadn’t even been from Konoha, because Makoto hadn’t see him before. The boy was huge, like extremely tall and shredded muscles. ‘He’s probably extremely strong and durable but uncoordinated. I hope he’s not in the Chunin’s’ Makoto would think to himself. Not only that but his hair was purple so a clan would have very well have been likely Makoto would just wait on the boy to respond to him.. rather man.

"nameisJei. amhereformchunninexam"

The boy looked really cool to Jei, who was just very large. Jei wasn't wearing a shirt, but he was still wearing pants as he did, with some shoes on. His massive body was a product of rampant genetics. Since the boy could do ninjutsu, Jei decided he wanted to show off. He wanted to prove that he was, in fact, the strong.

He went to one of the tress in the training area and grabbed it at its base. He, with little effort, unrooted the tree and then hoisted it over his head. He started lifting it up and down, crouching with it as he did. It was a reasonably large tree, but it was nothing for Jei Kudo, the man who had no concept of what strength really was. He just knew that if he touched people, they tended to fly. It was a problem that he wasn't sure how to fix.

"Areyouchunninexammantoo?"

Makoto had a hard time understanding the boy/man seeing that his words were slurred together. ‘I wonder how reading goes for him goes. Jei… a name that wasn’t long or hard to pronounce and the chunin exams. This meant he could be a possible opponent for me.’ Makoto would think to himself as he watched the boy. Makoto continued to try to kick wind and palm strikes as he could hear the wind but obviously couldn’t feel it seeing that he was shooting it away from him.

“Yes I’m in the Chunin Exams.” Makoto would say as he stopped his strikes and opened his eyes widely. The man/boy had ripped a tree out of the ground easily and began to workout with it. Makoto would murmur to the kid as he looked at the boy. “You have quite the strength”

"yeaido."

The other boy was in the exams. Huh. That was cool. The boy was probably stronger than Jei. Jei wasn't sure though. Jei was getting curious, though. He wanted to figure this out since he had been in the leaf. He took the tree and took the typical kenjutsu stance. It was just a bit different. He had a tree instead of a blade. He would lift the tree up and slash down onto the ground, causing quite a large rupture and a tree being broken. This would visibly surprise Jei. He thought Tree's were stronger than that.

"sorryibrokeyourtree."

He didn't mean to break the tree. He just kinda... did. It's what often happened. That was his slight problem when it came to literally anything. He always accepted this, though. He had figured out a technique to use with a tree though, so that was something. Something that was functionally odd, sure. It was, however, something.

He would sit down after, staring at Makoto. He stared intently, trying to think but failing. There was a seperate technique he was thinking of, that he couldn't quite catch. He was going to figure it out, darn it.

Makoto would continue his palm movements, almost like the vacuum palm but he couldn’t perform that technique seeing that only Hyuga were able to. When he caught the grasp of Futon he would have to do things like Wind Blade and things of that nature. He chuckled at the boy swinging the tree around as he sat down. The boy was strong, strong like an ox and probably the strongest in the Chunin exams. He would prove to be a hard opponent to beat should Makoto have to face off against him.

Makoto walked over to his bag that he had sat down before he began his training and pulled out some sweet rice cakes. Rice cakes happened to be Makoto’s favorite snack as he would hold one up to the one who called himself Jei. “Would you like one? They are rather sweet” he would say before munching on the one in his other hand.
