Appearance: With the shape and form of his body, one would assume that Ryuu's entire being was crafted from the gods themselves. He carries heavy muscles and fine abs that glisten vibrantly under the sun. His tan skin gives an exuberant, vibrant glow that only manages to articulate his heavenly appearance.

Many women would deem him handsome for his looks, and many men would fall into jealousy over his illuminating smile. No matter the effect, though, one cannot say that Ryuu himself is not appeasing to the eyes. At least, not with his long black hair that reaches down to his shoulders, or his pearly white eyes that wonderfully convey his emotions. Being a Hyuuga through and through, there isn't a moment where he doesn't look dignified.

For height, he stands 6 feet tall, which is taller than/right around the average height for shinobi in Konoha. During many times he can be seen wearing multiple things on his lean body. When he is at a formal event he would wear a kimono with the hyuuga symbol on it to represent his heritage, when he is at home he may wear a regular T-shirt (or no T-shirt at all) with sweatpants, and when he is out in the field of battle, he may wear the usual Konoha gear with his hidden leaf headband displayed proudly accross his forehead.

Finally, his body had a great many markings, from scars to tattoos and cursed seals. Most notably is his cursed seal on his forehead, which displays the position he holds in the Hyuga family. People may also notice his heavily constructed bundle of roses tattoo as well, which reaches from the left side of his upper and lower torso all the way to his back. There is also his dragon tattoos, which are held on both of his arms. They appear as Chinese dragons with long body parts that wrap around his biceps.

Personality: The Hyuuga have always been a serious and dignified bunch. They have kept to themselves, remained silent and calm through many situations, and have carried themselves with of the highest honor. However, Ryuu has not been like any of this.

Instead of serious and dignified, Ryuu is always laid back and relax. Despite his stressful role as bodyguard, he doesn't seem to take anything at all seriously. When he wants to smile he will smile, regardless of the situation, and when he wants to laugh he will laugh. He doesn't care about what others see in him, but only what one other person does. As long as that person doesn't see him in a bad light, he is perfectly happy.

At times he can get very passionate and scream to the top of his lungs, and at other times he can get very angry and argue a person down if he knows that they are wrong. He is a deeply emotional man that will never shy away from letting himself be free. With that said, there are moments when he can be serious, i.e., during battle. While on the battlefield, Ryuu will always let his emotions come second in place of the goal. He shows his Hyuuga heritage by the ultimate prowess he displays. While he is fairly confident in his abilities, he will never become too confident to cloud his mind. While out on the field of battle, he is a true Hyuuga warrior.

There is one aspect of Ryuu that a lot of people shame him on, and that's his love for women. Most importantly, his love for big breasted women. If he sees a lady with a huge chest, he will definitely stare right at them. However, while he is with his wife, it is only her chest that he will stare at, and he'll probably never take his eyes off of that.

He loves his wife more than he loves himself. Even though he may have a perversive mind towards women, he would never cheat on her or imagine himself doing anything else to hurt her. After knowing the life she's lived, he's made it a vow to continue making her happy so that he may never see her cry in front of him.

Character History: One could say that Ryuu's family was very unfortunate. His father, who was born to the head of the clan, was born as the second son in the family, downcasting him from the main family to the branch. They lived a life of servitude ever since, where merely speaking wrong to the main family would prove fatal to their lives.

Ryuu Hyuuga was born 3 years before the new heir to the Hyuuga clan. Thus far, his life had been well. He had lived carefree, training with his father during the day and reading books with his mother during the night. When it came time for dinner, his family would eat at a giant table with happy smiles on their faces. Even though they were branch members, Ryuu's family was very happy. Of course, that ended when the Hyuuga's heiress was born.

When the heiress turned three, a new cycle began in the Hyuuga family; a cycle of Juinjutsu branding. All of the branch members who had not been branded yet were given new marks that showed their lineage. For some, the seal given was insulting, as it showed that they were true animals meant to be tamed in the eyes of the main family.

Ryuu didn't think the same until, one day, the head of the Hyuuga tested the seal on him, destroying some of his brain cells. As a young kid, Ryuu went through the most terrible pain in his life, and he felt that he was going to die, but couldn't do a single thing to stop it. After the demonstration was over, it took him weeks to recover. With that, a small hatred of the main family grew inside of him.

He eventually went on to graduate from the academy and become a genin. As a means to aid Ryuu in his growth, his father often went on high ranking missions with Ryuu, despite what the rules prohibited. They would perform the exceptionally dangerous tasks where Ryuu was the most likely to die. All of it was so that Ryuu could become better than he was now.

One such mission he went on with his dad, he had to deal with slave trading. A man with incredible wealth had illegally kidnapped a girl of the hidden leaf village. It was their duty to save the girl and assassinate the man. He and his father snuck into the mansion of the criminal, who lived on the outskirts of Kirigakure and rescued all of the girls. During the mission, Ryuu ran into the man who tortured so many innocent lives, ravishing a poor girl against her will. He couldn't stand to see the girl suffer any longer, and assassinated the man before he could finish on her.

Pretty soon, he came to know the girl he rescued as Reisa, an unfortunate victim due to unfortunate circumstances. He took her to the hidden leaf with his father and helped her make a new life for herself.

Eventually, he helped place her into the ninja academy, where he studied with her day in and day out to pass her tests. He cared for her, cooking food for her when she got hungry and being there for her when she got lonely. He took her life as his own and held it preciously. He fell in love, and his grudge against the Hyuuga main family slowly began to disappear.

Soon a relationship blossomed with Ryuu and Reisa. They became more than just partners. They bonded on a spiritual level. When she grew the age of 19, and he of 20, they decided to elope and get married. His father hated his decision of not marrying a Hyuuga but still supported him.

He and Reisa made love their first night after their marriage. It was beautiful, wild, almost life-threatening, but fun. And as they laid sprawled together, the sheets barely covering their naked body, she smiled at him, and Ryuu understood the world around him a little more.

For his entire life, he had bore a grudge against the Hyuuga clan. Only when he met this woman did that grudge finally ended. She became everything to him, thus he vowed to give her everything in return. He promised himself that he would always protect her and make sure that she would never go through the hardships she faced during her slave years.

He promised that he would always be there for her and that he would brutally murder anyone who upset her. Under the midnight sky, Ryuu made a promise to himself as a man that he was sure he would keep until the day he died.

Soon, Ryuu began living a peaceful life, protecting the heiress Rei from harm during the day, and coming home to his beautiful wife at night. This life for him wasn't that bad.
