| - Mission:
Name: Help Stock the Shelves! Location: Within The Village Rank: D Team: N/A Client: Mr.Itoh Rewards:200 Exp and 500 Ryo Description: Mr.Itoh, a young and spry man has lately broken his arm. This has led to his inability to stock his shelves like he needs and is requesting that any ninja willing to do some menial work come and do this.
Kiraku looked at the mission board in dismay, his face twisted in a sad grimace. The wind blew a gust of sand, forming a little vortex. There were only two flapping papers nailed to the post and one of them only call for required Chunin Rank or higher thus he was forced to consider the other. Stocking shelves. Not really the action packed start after his ascension to Genin. No great chase, No fast paced mortal fights and no damsel in distress to save. For a moment there, a crack formed in what had been a pretty good week. All the glamour of the shinobi life seeped away into the flawed reality were he was nothing more than just a glorified errand boy. As quickly as it came, it went; leaving him with an empty void in the pit of his stomach as he tore the mission brief into his pocket, pulled up a rag over his nose and made his way to the target zone. Normally known as a Grocery Shop.
Kiraku made his way easily through the empty sand blasted streets, the only people out being shop owners and the occasional patrolling shinobi. After checking out the address a couple of times yet this was not really needed; He was no stranger to the commercial district; having done the everyday shopping for years now. He opened the sliding door and closed it quickly, a necessity in a city where sand was as common as the air its citizens breath. As he entered the shop and wiped his feet absent mindedly; he came face to face with Mr.Itoh, his left arm in a sling. He recognized Kiraku as a regular and his face shone with radiance once he was shown the mission slip. Kiraku spent the rest of the afternoon sorting and stocking up vegetables and canned goods and occasionally helping a customer with a heavy item. His mind lost in thought. Was this really what he worked so hard for? By the end of the day, he submitted his mission slip. He made his way home, muscles aching and his head pounding. He then spent the evening asleep in what once was a warm bath until the morning rays woke him the next afternoon, harbouring him into a new day.
