Long were the days of a shinobi to climb up the ladder of power, the blonde wished to do the same in a different way. But for that to happen, he needed to obtain a sword. Preferably a two-handed weapon, for that allows him to rip through objects with one mighty blow. The training swords don't work at lall in combat, forcing him to learn a few Taijutsu techniques so that he could survive. What did he need? Ryo.

In his hands was a copy of a cry for help, one who wants a delivery done and given to a higher up. For this one time, the ramen shop owner may have saved himself, but perhaps firing someone when there was no demand for a job wasn't the best move. Suicidal tactics for business aside, it worked in favor of the blonde, so he took the task and arrived at the ramen shop.

Stepping from the front side into the shade, he laid the paper down onto the counter to show he was here to see his client. Hey there. I'm here to do a little business with you. Hibiya announced, hoping the owner would hear him, wherever he was. Of course, he wasn't the only one who took this task, as this was a mere copy. As long as the reward didn't get jacked down because of it, he was content with having someone else arrive. Puts less work on himself.

There can be no business without the element of risk. However, firing a resource right before an important event isn’t a risk, that’s just plain dumb. The ramen shop owner realized that after he fired a guy. And this guy, was actually doing the work of two guys; yes, he was that good. Regretting the decision, the ramen shop owner asked shinobis to help him out and that’s where Jin came in. He decided to take this job because he could gain quite a few things with it. It was a delivery job and at first, it appeared to be a simple task. Jin knew that it wasn’t. Focusing on speed while ensuring that your delivery wasn’t affected, that required quite a few things: Balance, strong legs and good perception. Using a simple mission as this, he acquired the opportunity to train all of them.

Jin wanted to meet the other fellow that had also taken the mission but he had no choice in the matter. He had gotten there earlier and was dispatched for an important ramen delivery. So by the time the other genin arrived, the masked genin had already departed. It was weird how Jin’s deliveries went. Everytime he came back after a delivery, the other genin was gone and before the other guy returned Jin had to be dispatched on another delivery. So the whole day that Jin worked there, he couldn’t even see who the other genin was.

He worked from sunrise to sunset and had little time to rest. It was a learning experience to say the least. He somehow managed to do his part efficiently. Sure, he may have slipped here and hit a person or two or three while he was running frantically to make the delivery; but that came with the job. At least no one got hurt and no food was ruined or any delivery was returned. Finally, Jin was allowed to leave for home and so he did; having done an okay job at delivering ramen.

The blonde would place his hands in his pockets as the owner walked out from the cooking area. "Sorry about that, young lad. Seems you were a bit late to the punch. But if you find the one that did it, you can have half the cut. Here." So blunt with his words, pretty much shoving the bag of ryo at Hibiya. So his new task was to find the one being who took the task and he could have half of the cut. An easy job for him, and nothing timed. Of course, he could just take the full thing, but the reward was more than enough for him to do that, so he'll just take his half and be happy to be rewarded far better than he thought he would.

For now, he paced over towards a shop, ready to buy himself his newfound sword. As for the other client, he didn't quite get the name. Eh, he'll just ask around. The blonde was too laid back to actually put effort in finding someone he didn't get the name of. Besides, no higher ups to have to bow to when he brought them their ramen, he hated stupid tradition such as that.
