Appearance: He is blessed with blonde hair, which cleaned up surprisingly well after everything he's been through. He has few things that make one think that he has been through a rough patch.He's a rather tall boy all things considered, considering that his body was only supported by natural nutrients and stolen food past the age of 10.  He was rather lucky in that the group of people he stole from often had good food, that wasn't just completely rotten or anything. It helped that he didn't just run into a tree repeatedly, and above all else, it helped him that he knew what plants that he could eat without dying.

He also has naturally developed muscles, due to residing in the wilderness around the various villages. This makes him, surprisingly, as trim as a lot of ninja. His arm muscles are developed from either hiding in the trees or hiding elsewhere, and the leg muscles because he sometimes had to run away, other times he just played dead. His body is also almost always dirty because of this. It's shown in his often meager clothing, maybe a simple shirt and pants.

He usually has a smile on his face despite the fact that he's had a sort of rough life.

Personality: He's a shrewd man who can, and should, be called a sleazeball. Sleazy accurately describes him. He's often immoral, not caring if what he's doing is right as long as it gets what he needs done, done. That includes becoming an ninja and the fact that he cheated on his exam is something to be made full note of. The fact that he had cheated on his exams is not fully due to the fact that he has immoral tendencies... Ichirou in fact has difficulty when it comes towards skills that require book smarts such as reading, writing, and proper speech and grammar. In contrast he excels in street smarts, being able to pick up on things such as jutsu and techniques by simply watching it be done or being highly deceiving to take whatever he wants. Both his difficulty and excellence in both area have stemmed from his time growing up in the wilderness. He was not taught until he had entered a village later on in life about writing and read or proper etiquette and he did not intend on learning them. It is for that reason that he may at times appear to have an unkempt appearance or a rather animalistic way of behavior. He has an innate distaste of being the center of attention, so much so that he would go out of his way to avoid being first place in anything even if he was clearly better than the other participant.
Character History: He was originally from a small, non-ninja village. This is why, when he went missing at the age of ten, it wasn't so odd. Mainly because it was bandits. They attacked and the village sort of scattered. He was lost from his parents at the age of ten, and was originally around the land of fire. He is completely unaware of his lineage. That's why, when he could often outrun the beasts in the forest and steal from people for the next 8 years, it often came to a surprise. His obvious speed advantage also make him screwed and his natural personality was sleazy.

This didn't stop him from surviving for the next eight years until he, while tracking things and often keeping moving. He had somehow managed to end up near Sunagakure, and in its land. Well, unlucky for this boy, he was assigned a mission on him. They, however, thought he was a wild beast instead of a human, so only genin were sent.

Not that more was needed, of course. When they found him with stolen food, the exchange of words was quite wonderful.

"We're here to take you in for stealing food you an-"

The tall one, who was the leader of the group, was amazed. It was a human. He had planned on saying that to an animal, despite the lack of use. This, of course, prompted the response that would grace his record.

"I'm not an animal, I'm a human. Jesus, I barely know how to read and I know this."

Little to say, the ninja there were gobsmacked. This had stolen food? Using speed and technique, instead of just walking up?

Of course, when he bolted towards them, they got their defense ready. However, his explosive speed had caught them off guard, and he had stolen the snack that was in the leaders pocket, and was devouring it as the three looked at him, still utterly shocked. They were in the desert, and he had stolen food with that speed.

"You! Stop! We must tak-"

"Nope. Gotta run. See you later."

He then bolted. The tall one didn't move to catch up to him, however the lady he hadn't been paying attention to started after him and out-speeded him swifty. This wasn't even a challenge, as he was brought down and pushed face-first into the hard rock that they had met on.

Ach.

"Lemme go. Gotta go do things, don't got time for this. Wh- Don't you tie me up!"

He was then knocked unconscious, and as it had been drawing late, they had to camp out instead of going back. They were quite far out.

When he woke up in the middle of the night, he was met with the third person still being awake. They were dopey, but still awake.

When he tried to get up, he noticed both his legs and arms were tied behind him, with knots out of his reach. At this time, he didn't know the academy jutsu that he knows now, so he was stuck.

"I'd kick you if you didn't have me tied up!"

"That's why we have you tied up, idiot. I'm to keep guard of you during the night. It's sorta obvious you don't have ninja training, despite the fact that you have excellent speed. I'd wager that, if we didn't have our speed-star, that you'd have gotten away too. Tall-guy over that, Kamagawa, could smash you sure. He's just a bit on the slower side, and has a tendency to make things over dramatic. I'll argue that you become a ninja instead of being charged with theft."

He has since roughly learned to read and write simple words, and has gone through the academy to avoid being condemed a thief.
