Missions in Kirigakure!!

Subject: Missions in Kirigakure!! Mon Dec 04, 2017 9:17 pm

Missions (In order):

Kirito had just left the Mizukage's tower after grabbing a few missions. He knew he would be able to take these on and get them done by the end of the day. His new goal was to prove to the Mizukage that he was worth having as a shinobi of her village. He wanted to become a true asset to his new home and he was prepared to start from the bottom to do this. Lady Monsuta had been so kind as to grant him the rank of Chuunin after he attended a few weeks of classes at the academy. Luckily for him, he was still very young, so he didn't look too out of place sitting among the other students, but he definitely felt it. He was surrounded on all sides by children who didn't know how to properly hold a kunai yet, much less to take a life. Yet, they were in the steps to learning the Mists famous silent killing technique.

None of them knew that he was so powerful, he kept his strength hidden quite well and even appeared to struggle when learning the silent killing technique. Luckily for him, he had a very skilled teacher, so he was able to pick it up rather quickly. These thoughts and many more were on his mind as he took on his first mission. Ramen Delivery. It wasn't a glamorous task, but it was one used by kage to promote nationalism and pride within the minds of young ninja. It also helped them to get to know many of the civilians of the village and give them a face to put with the thought of what they were protecting. He handed in his delivery with a smile. It was the thought of getting to know the people with whom he shared his new home that got him through these simple missions.

Kirito had returned to the ramen shop to get his pay from completing his first mission, when he was asked to help with another delivery. Apparently his normal deliverer had called in and said he didn't want to run as he was having some issues with a couple of Academy students who had been taking their deliveries and all the money they had on hand. This pissed Kirito off some, as he could remember a few of the students like this from back in his time at the academy. His job, was to make the delivery while also seeing to it that the two trouble makers leave the Ramen Deliverers alone from then on.

He grabbed the delivery and decided to head out the door, He walked down the street seeing as he had been allotted more time than usual due to the fact that they were expecting trouble. Though, if things went right, this would be the last time their business was slowed by these two students. He walked down the road purposely taking on the same path the normal delivery boy came to. He would make sure to keep his senses out for the kids who attacked the normal delivery guy.

This delivery route had a surprising amount of turns and twists. He managed to make the first few deliveries without so much as a whisper, but it seemed that his luck had caught up to him at this moment as he felt a couple chakra signatures in the area he made his last delivery in began to follow him. He recognized the two signatures from his time within the villages academy program. These two kids were from prominent families in the village, not ninja families per say, but families that raised them to believe that power was all important and that those without power were supposed to serve those with power.

Kirito would allow them to follow him to his next two deliveries, it would seem that they didn't intend to attack him until his final delivery which was the next one. It was rather interesting to Kirito to see how the two students who bullied him reacted to his real abilities. The two of them weren't overly skilled at the Shinobi arts, but neither were they at the bottom of their class. They were the typical middle of the road bullies. Kirito had this in his mind as he walked into an alley, allowing them to follow him in.

They ran to catch up to him and then he allowed them to slam him into the wall. The leader was known around the academy as the meanest kid around. So he was the one currently 'pinning' him to the wall. "You are going to give us the delivery and all the money you made tonight on your rounds. If you don't you will wish you had." He did his best to sound intimidating, and he supposed that to most people he would. But to Kirito, who had faced down a Bijuu by himself, it was laughable. Kirito released a sigh and said, "No, this is how it is going to work. You and your friend there are going to turn around and leave and you will leave the deliveries alone from now on." The boy scoffed and his friend laughed. "What are you going to do about it?" He asked in a snide tone.

Kirito would simply say, "This." and would slip out of the boys grip faster than he could comprehend. His friend tried to grab him, but Kirito was simply too fast for either of them and was able to redirect their movements. In the end, both of the attacking boys had been pushed into the wall. "Now, go before I have to do something more permanent than damage your ego." After letting them go, the two would be thieves ran off and allowed Kirito to finish his mission in peace.

After returning to the Ramen owner and claiming his reward from completing the mission, he would begin his trek to his other task for the day. He was to go to the local weapons dealer and try out some of his wares to make sure that they were up to snuff, so to speak. He walked at a leisurely pace, it had been a rather eventful morning and it was time to get yet another mission over with. He made it to the weapon shop and went to the training area behind it that held a plethora of targets and training dummies.

His first things he was testing were Kunai. He picked up a few and threw them, slamming the bullseye with each one. It seemed that the kunai all checked out as good. So, he put them away in a box and set it aside. He did the same with the Shuriken and the Senbon. These all checked out as well. His next things would be sealing scrolls, smoke bombs, ninja wire, explosive notes and soldier pills. Given his limited knowledge on both Fuuinjutsu and Iryojutsu, he knew he could tell if any of these items were defective.

He had checked the kunai and other throwing weapons. They were all good, so his next task would be checking out all of the various tools that were there to be used. His first test were some smoke bombs. After throwing a few he was sure they checked out as fine. Next he looked at the explosive tags. The seals looked almost perfect, but he noticed they all had a single flaw. Tracing over them, he found that they were missing just a few symbols that were required for activation. This was easy enough to fix, so he just made a not of it and set them aside. The ninja wire chexked out as fine and his next test were the sealing scrolls.

Reading over the formula on them, he found a similar issue to the explosibe notes, the symbol for activation was missing or damaged. This would prevent the seal from recieving chakra amd therefore being basically useless. This was still and easy fix, so he set them aside and made a note. Finally he tested the Soldier pills. He did this by expending a lot of chakra and then eating one, it seemed that these were fine too, so he decided he would move on to the next items on his list.

His next items were various weapons, swords, kusarigama, bo staves and bow and arrows. He started with the swords since he was the most confident in his blade skills. Picking up the first sword everything was fine, but the weight seemed off kilter. It seemed that there was something wrong in the hilt that threw off the balance of the blade. He put it aside and grabbed another, it was the same way. So, he decided that the swords were off too. So, he picked up the hand scythes. They seemed fine and he was able to utilize them adequately with the chain attachment. Next would be the staves.

Picking up a staff and swirling it around him, striking a dummy. The staff itself broke in two. This was not a very good sign as he tried two more staves that did the same thing. Placing them to the side he made a not of both the staves and the swords. Now he needed to try the Bows. Notching an arrow, he would draw it back and let it fly towards one of the nearby targets. It seemed that it was fine until he tried to repeat the process and the draw string snapped. Trying another bow, he got off a few shots before the same thing happened. Placing them to the side he would make a note and then take his notebook back to the shop owner and turn it in. Accepting his pay, he would head off for his next mission.
