Purpose: To serve Shimogakure and the Land of Iron to the best of their ability, protecting them from threats both external and internal. To kill or be killed to defend their land, that is their duty. They serve in the shadows as most of their actions would not adhere to the Bushido code, but it is through their actions and sacrifice that normal Samurai can continue to live in peace in the Land of Iron. In the event of war, FROST will act as the front line of Shimogakure's army, the best that the nation has to offer.
Leader/Hierarchy:
Captains: FROST is led by a total of four captains, who each lead a squad designed for a singular purpose.

Squad 0: Led by the Captain Commander, the leader of Frost, this squad is designed as the lead Assassination and Frontal assault squad. It specializes in Frontal Assault and widespread damage.

Squad 1: Led by the Captain of Squad 1, this squad is designed for recon and espionage. Going into foreign territory and locating select individuals and information and returning without a trace.

Squad 2: Led by the Captain of Squad 2, this squad's sole purpose is the capture, torture and interrogation of the Land of Iron's enemies. This includes those deemed to be a threat externally and internally.

Squad 3: Led by the Captain of Squad 3, this squad's purpose is the manufacturing and perfection of weapons and armor for all members of FROST. They have a specialized forge that creates immensely powerful and sought after weapons and equipment.

History: This organization was founded in the shadows near the middle of the First Shinobi World War, when the Land of Iron was forced to be involved in shinobi affairs for the first time. Being put into that situation opened their eyes to how the Shinobi system worked and how much of a threat they could be to the Land of Iron should they choose to attack the neutral nation. So, the Shogun devised a group to defend the Land of Iron in the dead of night or the break of dawn, a group to work in the shadow of Shimogakure to safeguard against threats that would rise up both externally or those that would rise up internally. It has been in the works for nearly twenty years, growing and guarding the Land of Iron, hidden away under the ice.
