Black Sun on the Move

The icy wind beat against Dante's trench coat like a drum. He had opted for a fur lined version of his traditional garb, knowing the extremities of weather he was expecting in the Land of Iron. Leader-sama had sent him here on an assassination mission, as was commonly his domain within the organization, but this one was special. Instead of leaving nothing behind as he usually did, he was to leave in his wake the symbol of their organization inscribed in his victims blood. His jaunt through the icy fields surrounding the village of Shimogakure had been uneventful to say the least, it was in fact when he actually reached the village that it became slightly difficult. Thus far, he had to use just a minute amount of chakra to stay above the snow, leaving no tracks to be traced, but now this would be more difficult due to the speed he was supposed to move at, coupled with the fact he was going to be jumping around to avoid detection. So, he mentally prepared himself and dashed over the walls and into the village with his targets location on his mind.

He arrived to the mansion in very little time after avoiding what few patrols were actually in the village as a majority of them scoured the countryside to stop invaders from even coming into the land. His target was none other than the Shogun, a man revered as one of, if not THE best swordsman in the world. Dante was confident he could take him on, but it would be a lot less painful if he could defeat him before he drew his sword. Entering the building was easy enough after he knocked out the butler that opened the front door and hid the body. He was somewhat perturbed that he was not allowed to eat anyone other than the Shogun, but he had enough respect and a healthy dose of fear for his leader, so he kept his mouth shut about it. He made his way up the stairs and down the many halls and corridors that made up the rather large building before coming out at the end of a hall to find a rather ornate building in which he knew his target resided. He had made sure to keep his chakra hidden thus far, so there was no way that he was sensed. He prepared himself to make his first and hopefully final attack on the Shogun. Sending six long red tendrils smashing through the door hoping to impale the man who was sitting at his desk either asleep or doing paper work, but with as calm as his chakra felt, Dante had to assume it was the former.

Jinto had fallen asleep at his desk yet again. He really needed to stay awake, but the sixty-two year old Shogun simply couldnt keep himself interested for long enough to stay awake. He always managed to get it done on time however. He was woken up very suddenly by a pain in his chest. It wasn't a normal pain though, so he knew it wasn't related to his body failing him as it was in pristine condition, no this was somethinh foreign. Looking down he saw a red spike sticking through his chest, having impaled him through his chair and his office door. Most old guys would have been down for the count by now, but Jinto was a tough old bastard.

Drawing his sword so quickly it actually sent a shockwave that sliced a portion of his office apart to the outside he cut off the offending appendage that impaled him. It dissolved away and the tendril it was connected to receeded back to the man standing bahind the door. Jinto would dash forwards to deliver a final blow, but from the moment he felt his blade connect, he coughed up blood, it seemed he exerted himself more than he should have after sustaining such a grave injury. He was frozen in pain now, staring into the intruders merciless and empty eyes. But he stared into them without a trace of fear, he would meet his end as all Samurao should strive, on the battlefield.

The pure feeling of success he felt when his tendril drove through the Shoguns chest was suddenly reversed when a portion of his chakra was removed. Withdrawing his tendril he was almost taken out by the surprising speed and resilience displayed by the Shoguns strike. It had cut the skin, but he appeared to be in too much pain to completely follow through with his attack. Taking the opportunity as it was presented to him, Dante would place his hand on the old mans neck. Feeling the blood rushing through his veins from the surge of adrenaline, Dante relished in his latest kill, snapping the leaders neck.

He did not finish there however, as now it was time for his favorite part of hunting: eating his kill. He started from the neck and ate his way up finishing off the top portion of his victim. he then ate downwards, feeding off the chakra that ran through the Shoguns body. Samurai had an interesting taste as they did not use chakra in the same way as Shinobi, they tasted pure and untainted. Something he truly enjoyed, a delicacy in this world. Once he had finished his meal, he would take the blood left over from his conquest and would inscribe the symbol of Black Sun. When he had finished, he would leave as quickly and silently as he had come in. Though he left his tracks leading back to the Elemental Nations, he could hear alarms being raised in his wake as the village was lost over the horizon.
