Whitewashing

Mission:

Kiraku ran across the rooftops, sliding down into an alley before sprinting in front onto the mission board; It was nice and early in the morning and with his heart beating steadily, his muscles all tense and pulsing, he was ready to take on a mission.  There was only a singular mission nailed to the mission board; Fortunately for Kiraku, a D-Rank Mission. It was a simple and straightforward mission, to paint a perimeter fence for an elderly woman. Not the most dangerous or thrilling of missions yet it had to do, seeing as he had no other options. At least it was an easy job for some quick money; He ripped the mission brief off and read the directions to the location of the fence and set off to it; making his way up to the rooftops once more.

Following the mission brief; he quickly made his way to the outskirts of the village, following a winding path that led him in front of a rickety house surrounded by a ramshackle fence. After talking briefly with the owner of the home, she gave him a bucket of white paint and a brush. Setting himself to work, he spent the best part of the day slowly making his way around the home, giving the rickety wood a lick of fresh paint. It was repetitive and back-breaking pain yet it was work nonetheless. With a sandstorm brewing on the horizon, Kiraku was sure that this same mission would be requested soon enough.
