Appearance: Yūrei is very tall and thin, typical of members of her clan. Her abs and ribs can be seen clearly through her skin, leading some to believe she has had a history of anorexia. Of course, this isn't true. She's just skinny! She has well developed muscles in her arms and legs as a result of an intense exercise regimen. And it totally shows. She has shortish, blonde hair that spikes up, also typical of members of her clan. She has bright blue eyes that twinkle with mischief, and are wide. She has porcelain skin, despite spending lots of time outside, leading her to think that maybe it's just genetics that makes her that pale. She is relatively unblemished, save for some scars that crop up as a result of her ninja occupation. Most scars cover her fingers, though there is a large scar on her upper back as a result of being literally stabbed in the back. It barely missed her heart, and the scar hurts whenever it rains. Which, since she's living in Kumogakure no Sato, is quite often. When she walks, she does so with confidence and elegance befitting one of her station. Her footsteps are all but nonexistent, not at all audible as a result of stealth training. She typically wears warm fitting clothes. Usually, they are all black, save for her blue and gold overcoat. It's very comfortable, and she's fond of it. She wears her black Kirigakure no Sato headband on her forehead, and it's tied tightly so it doesn't fall off. Her hair often falls over it. She keeps herself well groomed and takes pride in her appearance. She often smells like the ocean, with how much times she spends out though her hair doesn't seem to be affected by the salt... Personality: Yūrei, for growing up in such a hostile home environment, has developed the personality of one who hates senseless violence. She is incredibly pacifistic, often refusing to fight altogether if there is a way it could be talked out of. However, she is often willing to do what others cannot if push comes to shove. She loves to learn- it's so fun for her! And as a result has learned several languages and aims to master a hundred jutsu. Right now, her favorite subject is Fuuinjutsu, with Senjutsu following behind as a close second. She is a natural extravert and has an easygoing personality. As a result, Yūrei tends to get along easily with everyone. She loves to teach what she knows to younger children and aspires to be a jounin commander of a genin team. She is very talented with special needs children- being one herself. She dislikes loud noises and bright lights as a result of sensory sensitivity disorder.
Yūrei also writes a semi-popular series of children's books in Kumogakure no Sato. Writing has been a peculiar hobby of hers for a while, and she will write about literally everything: the weather, how she feels about violence, a neat bird she saw the other day... She notices details and patterns very quickly as a result of her intelligence and creativity. Above all, she lives externally, focusing on the relationships between herself and others in an attempt to help. She intensely values her friends, and loves and supports them. She loves to bounce ideas for new seals off of them, and highly respects their advice. She makes new friends easily, but only has a few that she considers close. Yūrei has yet to find a romantic partner, but she's interested in both men and women. She wants to wait to find a partner until she gets strong enough to protect both herself and them.
