Name: Rayne
Nickname: N/A
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 5'5"
Weight: 100lbs
Appearance: Rayne is wispy in stature. She’s average height, but very light in weight. Her skin is like ivory porcelain, unblemished except for the angry pink scar on the back of her right knee, and an octopus with lightening bolts for tentacles tattooed on the inside of her left upper arm. Her hair is usually kept in two long pigtails with bangs, lavender in color. Her eyes are piercingly brown, but the warmest part of her features— the most expressive part. Her usual garb consists of a black, cropped tank top under a short-sleeved zip-up shirt with a high collar and various pockets, both hidden and obvious. Her bottom half sports teal shorts with a gray belt and black boots that reach just under the knee.
Most of these distinguishing features are hidden, though. Often times she wears a gray cloak that nearly touches the ground, with a wood pulled over her head so far it shields her eyes.

Village: Wandering (Originally Takigakure)
Character Rank: Jounin
Character Tier: A-3
Clan: N/A
Element: Wind
Bijuu Roll: N/A
Personality: Rayne has her father’s tendencies to be soft-hearted paired her mother’s sometimes brutal honesty. She will just come out and say how she feels, sometimes disregarding how it may affect others. Her usual caution in most scenarios often characterizes her as a stoic someone with a cool head in most tough situations, able to strategize and give precise direction.
Her stubbornness keeps her independent nature alive, despite her new hardships. Overcoming her handicap and acquiring the skills needed to avenge herself is a rough process, one that often robs her of sleep. A recent personality development is brooding, a mechanism that allows her to safely navigate and work through the negative emotions brought on by her abandonment, capture, and torture. However, it doesn't help much with her nearly paralyzing panic attacks concerning the presence of too much blood or death, an unfortunately ironic affliction for someone who is bent on bloody, permanent revenge. However, patience is a good trait for an avenger, and that she has plenty of.
On the brighter side of things, Rayne keenly enjoys her natural tendency of moving silently outside of battle despite her limp, often causing those around her to be startled when she randomly appears and speaks. She's mischievous in that way, and also possesses a dry, witty, and at times wicked sense of humor. Sarcasm is a second language to the woman, used both in fun and in anger.
At one time she was- and still is sometimes in some twisted senses of the terms- fiercely loyal and obsessed with honor, leading to laser-point focus on goals. These two qualities originally came into direct conflict with each other when her team, and subsequently her village, abandoned her during a secret mission. Time and torture broke her of these, but she has since found new places to place her loyalty.
Character History: Takigakure is known for its production of strong jounin shinobi, and Rayne is no exception.
Her parents were highly skilled shinobi as well. They often worked together in teams, so when they would both leave she was left in the care of a friend who had a daughter the same age as theirs. This arrangement would become more important later, after a mission went awry. Rayne's parents were poisoned, and though they made it home, they were sentenced to a painful demise. A young Rayne spent days at the hospital while medical ninja tried their best to draw out and make antidotes of the poison. At one point they thought they were successful and sent the family home. However, the poison had a sadistic time-release enzyme, leading the poor girl to helplessly watch as her parents spontaneously bled out at the dinner table.
