Two Paths to Pain

Making use of his new found stardom, he requested one of the islands he was fond of to be for himself. Wherever he went, there were prying eyes, always looking to see what he was doing. Did he have a new technique? How does he practice? The silliest questions because instead of being a figure for ninja his image had become much more famous than that. His name didn't help with it which was another reason he didn't complain. Being called the God of Creation wasn't something lightly.

That was what he decided to do when he met the Sage of the Six Paths in his dream. To be something he always thought he should. Save the land. Whatever enemies rise to oppose the peace he will instill. Would face his true wrath. But he had to learn to master his Rinnegan fully. So he could do what he could. He had to unlock the Preta Path.

There were two A-rank Jounin and a B-rank Chuunin standing before him. They were chosen randomly to by him to train specifically with this technique. They had all been Shinobi he had been on missions with when he was a Genin and then soon a Chuunin. After he joined the ANBU as a Chuunin, he had been distant and even quiet to the whereabouts and business he conducts anymore. The ANBU required you to be someone else even if you didn't like that person.

Satomi stepped forward and beckoned for them to attack him. They armed themselves all with Katanas. As was customary now in the feudal era of the Mist village. They had been adapting the Samurai culture into the Way of the Ninja. A unique brand of living. A code.

"Come," he said activating his Rinnegan.

"Lightning Release: Lightning Beast Running Technique," one of the A rank shinobi shouted. A lightning chakra covered the ninja and he used his hands to create a lightning beast that begun running at the Uchiha.

While the other two used different attacks as well. "Water Release: Heavenly Weeping!" A shower of needles shot froward from the Chuunins mouth heading towards Satomi with deadly precision. They numbered almost a hundred, a techinque made to throw even the Sharingan off, however Sato's Sharingan was completely different. It had evolved beyond that of the non-believers. He would show them the way.

The last A rank ninja also attacked making handsigns and screaming, "Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique!" He also held his hands up to his mouth to shot his attack.

Three dragons born from the fire began to form from his mouth and it sailed through the air with a menacing speed. However there were a few people on the planet that could actually match the White Shadow in speed. There was a reason why he was called that throughout the villages. His enemies and allies alike knew to fear a white light, it was followed by a dark shadow. Which could imply two things, that they saw his dark skin before he was upon them, or they simply saw nothing but the cold embrace of death.

Both were true.

All the attacks came from three different directions, but all within the frontal view of the Uchiha. They shot forward and Satomi was unbothered. He held out his hand when they were within a ten meters. And an orb of pure chakra burst itself around him.

All those attacks from powerful ninja of the Leaf was enough to kill anyone. Even an S-rank ninja like Satomi. However he was the next in line to become the Mizukage. He was extremely hard to kill especially now he was the only one in the world with the power of the Rinnegan. The combination attack was huge, and it left a large explosion that was 50 meters in the air.

Everyone gasped except the ones who were in the battle. They were not alarmed, because they knew who they were up against. They knew he would survive such an attack. There was a loud suction sound as the explosion erupted but then began to swirl into a small tornado. Something similar to water going into a funnel. And it was going straight into Satomi!

The crowd watched as vortex of elements, strong enough to kill any Shinobi. The blast was a swirling tornado that caused shockwaves of wind to blast everyone there. They could feel the intensity of the attacks even from 50 meters away. The energy began dissipate like a funnel into Satomi until it completely disappeared. Everyone was flabbergasted, where had the attack gone.

It was difficult to see but it seemed as if Satomi had absorbed the attacks into himself. The Uchiha glowed for a moment before the dust settled and he was unharmed and unmoved. The ground around him was untouched because no attack ever got a chance to touch it. Sato had did it, he had touched the other Path and brought it to light. The Preta Path. The power to absorb all chakra.

Everyone seemed to be confused and shocked. But the three trainers were present knew that this was no trick. Satomi had become even stronger by absorbing the massive combination techniques. There was possibly no visible way to defeat someone like him. Sato stepped forward and made one handseal. There was a shimmer surrounding Satomi as his body began to distort and pull away from him.

"Fission Techinque." A body began to form itself out of the body of the original Uchiha. It was unlike a Shadow Clone which appeared in a puff of smoke. However this one materialized from the body of Sato himself. A Kinjutsu not taught to many people in the world. But this was the act of the true power of Satomi's might. Able to summon another body to channel his immense powers.

"Try again. This time, I'm upping the level of difficulty." And he and his living clone dashed forward.

The three begun to battle the legendary ninja. They had never fought someone as ferocious and dangerous as Satomi before. With power of the Rinnegan he could read every movement you made before you made it. So there punches and uppercuts thats connected frequently. When the trio was having enough to of getting their asses kicked they met up again to attack once more.

They all tried their powerful attacks again this time however aiming at the clone, thinking of getting rid of the living clone first. The plan would be to eliminate the Uchiha before he had a chance to use any of his other dangerous jutsu.

All three performed the three-way combination technique this time performing the attack the on the clone. Satomi could have dashed forward and stopped the attack himself. However, that was unnecessary as it turned out. There was a similar situation where all three attacks combined into one and struck downwards at the Living Clone, named just the Shadow. He stuck out a hand to meet the attacks. Surely a clone would be nothing to an attack of this caliber.

The case could be made for original Satomi whom had a durability to outlast any of the attacks that the trio could throw at him. However clones were dispensable, even made for that purpose. This was different, this living clone was alive. And had all the powers of his previous body. That of Satomi Uchiha. Living legend, and God of Creation. Eyes of the Rinnegan.

The combination attack was also absorbed with a blinding flash then you could literally see a thin sphere erect itself around the clone Vizer. It encountered the attack and it was no match for whatever sorcery the Kage was conjuring. The crowd had no words and can only stair in amazement. Satomi looked at them and his eyes flared as he learned as his mastery of a new path increased his powers exponentially. Satomi would offer no explanations, but he would be finding out who leaked his training session out. Such information could be useful in the wrong hands.

His fame had reached across the world. However he didn't need them knowing ALL his secrets. Like his power to absorb all chakra. Nullifying all ninjutsu with the power of the Preta Path. Making him mostly invulnerable to most attempts on his life. Taijutsu being one of their only ways to kill him. However with the power of the Deva path, that to was impossible. The perfect defense. The title of Yondaime Mizukage would be well earned his name. As one of the most powerful ninja's in history.
