Description: There have been several reports of a massive creatures thought to be a Bijuu, roaming around the lands of your village. The Kage has sent you to track down the beast just to confirm or deny the reports. Upon discovering the beast you have found out that it was just a massive summons attacking a local village. Your job is to take out the summoning and locate the person who summoned it! Be careful though the ninja who controls the beast is hidden in the panicing village and is a powerful S Ranked Ninja.

Trouble in the lands around the village, there always seemed to be one reason or another for the lands to request the might of Konoha's shinobi. Fortunately for the people requesting the village's aid, it appears that they had chosen the proper request to deal with their valid issue. Rei had just finished reading the scroll once more for crucial information. She had reaad it several times and taken in key words, names and locations. To think that there is possibly a Bijuu roaming the lands near Konoha and the village hasn't spotted it yet, and the unfortunate little villages have only after having been subjected to its destructive rampages. It's a wonder at all that anyone lived to tell the tale. she thought to herself and then her mind began to wonder in many directions, methods for combating a bijuu. Truthfully the hyuga princess had never fought a beast of gigantic proportions before, so she had very little experience indeed on how to combat such a foe. In any case, Rei had left the village just that day earlier in the morning and traveled to two villages. Those two villages closet to the village hadn't seen or heard much about this supposed Bijuu, which meant Rei had to travel farther away from the village towards the more rural lands. Ever the paranoid one, she had ensured that no one had followed her using her Byakugan.

Rei traveled the very whole first day and camped out just outside a village that night. With the information she had gathered, it was likely that this village would be attacked next. She was beginning to see a pattern although she couldn't quite put her hand on what the pattern was. Hence why she was camping out at this village: if it got attacked soon then her suspicions would be confirmed. That night, she sat at a small campfire behind a small hill and cooked some stew with meats from the local game around the woods. She was good at survival, having her father taught her how to survive in the world if ever she was separated from her clan. Ever the worrisome father Kenichi was and yet, his teachings had molded Rei into the woman she was today, between her fighting skill with Jyuken and her wilderness cooking. She test tasted the stew after a bit of cooking, it needed a bit more salted. She reached over and grabbed a rock of salt and used her fingers to pinch off a portion of the salt rock into the stew. Luckily, she had been able to find a salt rock out in the wilderness or else she would have been eating a stew seasoned only by the local flora. Nothing happened that night and Rei was certain to monitor the activity of the village and its surroundings from her heightened position on a hill. The only activity that night had been a few people out drinking and partying. That was hardly something to pay attention to.

The next morning was different however. As Rei packed up her little camp site, smothered the fire with dirt and erased the traces of her presence: she began to canvas the area in earnest. Searching every nook and cranny of the forest around the village. That was when she found the first taletell signs of a large beast in the vicinity, not just any large beast either... but a beast of enormous size and weight. The size and imprint of the foot in the ground indicated that it could be a Bijuu. She bent low and reached down, grabbing up the dirt from the footprint. It was still moist. "This dirt is still quite fresh,
maybe not a full day old... But how did a Bijuu get this close to the village without being spotted by any of the locals?" she said out loud to herself as her mind raced to figure out this mystery. Something was amiss with this whole ordeal, aside from the fact that there was supposedly a roaming bijuu about following some sort of pattern.

In either case, it was best that the village be evacuated before the Bijuu decided to strike, or worse yet- simply erase the village from the land with a passing whim. She threw the dirt to the ground and wiped her hand clean on her black pants as she made her way down the hill with moderate speed until she reached the village's outer parameter. Though her coming had not been witnessed, her presence was noticed when she slowed down to a walk: it was almost as though she simply appeared there like a ghost. Her arrival startled a couple of people, but they recognized shew as wearing a Konoha headband and eventually understood that she was there for their protection. "Where is your village elder. We must have words quickly." she said urgently.

The little village's people looked at her clueless for a moment, but the look on her face and the tone of her voice told them that this was a matter of great importance. The fastest man was sent to guide Rei towards the elder's house. Ri followed him at a leisure pace for civilians were quite a bit slower than shinobi, albeit Rei had to admit that for a regular human, this man could run fast. After about two minutes of running, they approached a little hut down towards the opposite end of the little village. An old man sat on the porch, admiring the morning's sunlight and pleasant wind. Yet when he saw his son in tow with a shinobi from Konoha, he knew something was very wrong. Such a beautiful morning... What trouble has the winds brought up? she said to himself as a sense of dread was rising within him. Come to think of it, several small villages have been attacked by a giant beast recently... Oh gods, don't tell me..! Realization dawned on the wise old man just as Rei and his son approached the house.

"Esteemed elder, you must evacuate your people from this village.
I've witnessed large footprints of a enormous beast in the village's forest nearby. I assume it is a Bijuu. With the recent reports of the land being attacked by a Bijuu, we can only use caution in this situation. Take your people and head south to where there is a hill. Remain there with your people until I come to get you." she said, directing the elder to the location she had camped the previous night. It was a decent spot, high enough and away from the village that anyone could watch the village from a safe distance.

It seemed that the elder was a man of action: for no sooner had Rei given instructions, that the elder began to order his son to run through the village to sound the alarm. The elder summoned his other sons from the house, three younger boys. He sent them all in opposite directions to give instruction to take nothing but the clothes on their backs and the sick and elderly. Rei stood passively during all of this as to not step on anyone's toes. It was not until the feeble and the children were brought out and loaded into a wagon, that Rei began to move. She assisted them by aiding those into the wagon, picking up children and elderly people alike and depositing them gentle into the wagon. It seemed that everyone was just about finished preparing to leave, few people were missing apparently and she could count the few running towards the gathering point. They were all accounted for and the elder sat in the cart as he counted everyone- about thirty people in total as their wagon began to move, pushed and pulled by the strong men of their village.

No sooner had the wagon began to move through the southern exit of the village, that there was a commotion towards the north of the village. Heavy ground shaking footsteps, followed by the furious howl of a terrible beast. Children screamed in terror and their parents held them close to soothe them as much as to protect them. Rei stood at the exit tot he village and watched the villagers leave in safety before she turned her back to face whatever was to come. She steeled herself in preparation and began to run through the houses until she reached the entrance of the village. It was there that she saw the beast, an enormous chimera type creature with a man standing atop its head.

This is no Bijuu.... This is a shinobi summoning! she thought to herself in revelation. Suddenly all the missing pieces of information fit into the puzzle of details she had been trying to put together. The reason there was a pattern to the attacks, was because the beast was controlled by a man! It seemed that the man was unaware of the departed villagers at the moment. Good. The more time she could distract him, the farther away the villagers could get to safety.

She stood there in the open courtyard between a circle of buildings, looking up at the summoned chimera and the shinobi as the man cackled, drunk of power. His laughter died down quickly when his monstrous appearance wasn't followed by the panicking screams of terror from villagers. Confused, his laughter fell silent and he scanned the area, only seeing one person on the ground. He would call out in a loud voice, not yet realizing Rei was a shinobi. "You there! Pretty lass! Tell me where all of the villagers are!" he would say in a demanding tone, accentuated by the deep rumbling of his summoning as the chimera growled. The beast sensed the danger its master did not. At his beast's urging, the man began to realize that something was amiss and he took a harder look at the girl before him. "Why you- You're a shinobi of Konoha! What have you done with all the villagers?" he cried out in surprise and then demanded to know about the villagers. The changed tone in his voice to annoyance and aggression sparked the bloodlust in his summed chimera and it roared in rage at its master being tricked.

The roar was indeed powerful. As it roared, the wind it generated rippled passed Rei. The wind ruffled her clothing and blew her hair by the strong gust, yet Rei remained resolute in her position, barring his way from advancing any further. Truthfully she was relieved that it was a shinobi and his summoning and not a Bijuu. Fortune was smiling upon this village, and Rei too. Still, the enemy was not to be underestimated. This was a beast of great power and only a shinobi of equal skill could bring about something so terrifying. "The villagers were warned of your coming and fled to the West. You will have to get passed me if you wish to hunt them down." she would say, feeding the man false information, for the villagers had been sent South.

No sooner had she finished speaking, that the man raised his hand and his chimera raised a paw and tried to smash Rei under its foot. To Rei's surprise, the beast was a lot faster than she anticipated for something of its size. Having underestimated the beast's speed, she stood her ground and used both hands to stifle the stomping notion of the beast. As its giant paw came into contact with her hands, she realized that she had underestimated the beast's strength as well! Though she was able to fend off the beast from squashing her, the sheer weight and strength of the beast caused her knees to buckle and she dropped to her knees and shattered the ground around where she stood.

From the man's position atop his beast, it appeared as though the chimera's stomp had been fully lethal and he laughed at the thought of squashing a shinobi of Konoha. It was not until his beast groaned in surprise that the man's laughter was cut short with a bout of vertigo as he was elevated by the sudden erratic movement of his summoning. "Hey! Fluffy, what have I told you about trying to knock me off- Oh..." he would say suddenly as he saw his beast's paw being pushed backwards with great might.

With all of her strength, she pushed upwards and regained solid footing as she shoved upwards and knocked the beast off balance. The full force of her shove knocked the beast off balance and it fell backwards outside the property line of the village, not even destroying a single building in the process. I must defeat this pair while protecting as much of the village as possible... she told herself, taking note of the distance between the deadly duo and the village she had created. With the two pushed out of the village, she would rush forward aggressively to seek the attention of the master shinobi and his summoning. The chimera roared in rage. The man too roared in rage and commanded his beast to eat the woman. The chimera had yet to fully get its heavy body off of the ground where it had been knocked over however. As the beast stirred to its feat, Rei would take action herself to detain the beast.

Luckily for the man and unluckily for Rei, the shinobi had feared for his own life by the rampaging beast. As he ordered the beast to eat Rei, he had jumped free of its head to a safe distance away to watch the battle. It was then that Rei activated her Byakugan and take in the beast within her vision. To the man's horror, a red barrier suddenly formed around his chimera. "A large opponent makes an easy target, no matter their speed or strength... But what about the beast's master?" she said, teasing the man... whom seemed quite susceptible to baiting. As his beast was rendered powerless and baited, the man yelled furiously at Rei and rushed her, seeking to free his creature from her barrier.

A single Tiger handseal was what was needle and she quickly performed it before the master summoner ever reached her position. To his dismay, the barrier around his creature suddenly shrunk smaller and smaller until it crushed the beast inside. Blood and gore splattered everywhere before the summoning disappeared into a puff of smoke and the barrier shattered only after shrinking to a point of nonexistence. Rei knew this would happen, but the master summoner had not. Who could expect their massive beast to be crushed with such ease after all? His lunge had lost most of its momentum due to sheer surprise and Rei would capitalize on the man's moment of weakness. She would rush forward in a lunge just as he had intended to, although now her lunge was quicker.

The attack was two fingers, She raised her main hand and extended both the index and middle finger as though they were a blade. She infused them with chakra and stabbed at the man, intending to strike him in the heart, yet the man was no slouch in battle, he could see the danger of the attack and turned his body at the last moment to receive a deep gash across his chest instead of being pierced through the heart. Surprise atop dismay, the man wasn't sure what to make of this tigress woman who could damage him with but two fingers. Realizing that close range was this hyuga woman's strength, he wishes to distance himself and fight her once more with summonings. "You damned monster!" he would cry out in disbelief and rage. She had bested his prized beast in physical strength and even further, crushed his beast in a barrier! He feared for his life and began to perform several summoning seals. If he could not best her in one on one, he wondered how she would fair against one against many!

He intended to overwhelm her with numbers, that much was obvious and Rei had to admit that there was a moderate amount of danger associated with multiple summonings. Despite her strength, speed and byakugan... even for her there was a limit to how many opponents she could keep track of. Summoned creatures were more deadly than most beasts in the wild, allowing the man to summon the creatures might lead to the destruction of this little village and possibly even the loss of her life. She could not allow either of those two outcomes of course. She had intended to take the man alive, but it seemed that he wished for a battle to the death. Unluckily for him, Rei was far better in skill than he.

She allowed the man to finish his summoning despite her subconscious warnings. Individually, she had the man were not very different in terms of speed or battle understanding. Yet she was relying on the man dividing his attention between his summoned creatures. He summoned four smaller creatures. A ram, a lion, a serpent and a scorpion. Hmmm so his chimera was a fusion summoning of these four creatures independently. Quite clever. she thought to herself, secretly applauding the man's cleverness. Yet she could only give him so much credit. For his lust for power and intellect had led him down the path of corruption. As he summoned the four creatures and commanded them to attack Rei, they would rush forwards and Rei would meet them by appearing to not have moved a muscle and yet his beasts were suddenly pushed backwards. Battered and sent flying by immense strength.

With his four beasts going flying by a seemingly invisible force, all the man had seen were multiple blurs. Eight to be exact. Two blurs each had attacked his four beasts, tripping them up and sending them flying with powerful strikes. It was then in that instance where Rei had remained still and watched for her moment of opportunity that she caught the man off guard as he was dismayed at his beast's demise. She had previously used her barrier to catch his first beast and she knew that he would be wary if she did it again, but this time it was different. The first time she had done it on a large scale, this time she would do it on a small scale. As the man's jaw dropped open in surprise when his summoned creatures went flying, Rei used that visual aid to trigger her barrier. The resulting jutsu took place inside the man's open mouth, creating a red cubed barrier and expanded rapidly. The size and speed the barrier grew, the man knew not what had happened to him, only that he had felt a sudden tension in his mouth and then the barrier grew significantly large, causing his head to explode.

Brains and skull fragments went flying everywhere before the barrier overtook his body and crushed his corpse beneath it. With his immediate demise, his four battered summoned creatures disappeared into a puff of smoke and then the battlefield fell silent. Rei wiped the one splatter of blood from her white haori and then turned away from the gruesome scene. Her barrier disappeared and she began to walk South. "The people of this village will be happy to know that the threat is gone and not a single one of their buildings are destroyed." she said to herself feeling accomplished. Despite the trouble the morning winds had brought the village, the day was actually quite pleasant.
