Jutsu Training: Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing/Kai ~ Release

Jutsu Trained:

Today was a bit of a stressful day for Zaida of the Yuwaku Clan. The instructor had told her ahead of time to prepare to use genjusu against a living opponent, another Shinobi of her class, and that the genjutsu in question would be explained to her before she was made to use it. She was told there was something else as well, but that it would be explained after she had gone through the first portion of the training. Arriving before her instructor was outside the realm of possibility, not the one involving her genjutsu training at least, and when she arrived a few minutes early he was already talking to a boy from her class about what to expect. Her arrival marked the end of the conversation before the instructor began to speak to her.

Good morning Zaida. Today you're going to be doing a sight genjutsu known as 'Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing.' What it does is draw out their greatest fear. The one thing that they wish to never have happen to them, or ever have happen again. Your classmate has allowed himself to be used in this training, as he's had a genjutsu used against him before. When I say go, I want you to focus as you have to with all Genjutsu, pull his darkest fear out and make him live through it. Now...go."

Not wanting to disappoint her instructor, and not being immediately in front of the male genin that was standing tall at his post, the woman did a sprint before doing a sliding stop that caused her to end up about two meters in front of him with eyes locked on his. Chakra already focused as she ran she began the illusion that would bring this brave boy into a whimpering puppy. It was always odd, seeing a person caught in a genjutsu. Even as the person causing the illusion she was not able to see what was going on in his head for the time being.

He would start talking about what sounded like a dating experience, which was kind of odd, before he would ask 'what mom?' and then start screaming. Maintaining her focus, keeping the Genjutsu by doing so, the woman would continue to listen until the boy started screaming at the girl to please stop eating him. He would even say the name, Miko. Wow, so his greatest fear was a date with Miko gone wrong? Not that he ever had a chance, Zaida would never let a boy outside of the best get near her best friend.

"Excellent work, Zaida. You have him exactly where you were meant to. Anyone caught in a genjutsu like this will be at your complete mercy as long as they do not realize they are in one." The instructor would speak, walking up to her as he did so. How long was she to keep up the genjutsu, and when would she be told to end it?

The boy lay on the ground, fetal position, acting like he was literally being eaten alive. Zaida felt bad for the kid right now. He had volunteered for this and he was now in the worse spot he could be in. He thought he was dying, being eaten alive by her best friend no less. The woman was about to end the focus on the Genjutsu when her instructor spoke up again. "Keep that genjutsu going. There is another thing I want you to learn from this session. Keep an eye on the handseals while I talk. The ability to remove someone from a genjutsu is possible, it is called a Kai Release. Doing the handseals and then touching the one affected will take the chakra focused through the seals and remove them from the genjutsu. This can also be done to yourself, but only if you already know you're in a genjutsu, which makes it a difficult thing to accomplish in an even battle." The instructor would do three handseals in quick succession; Monkey, Dog, Ram. "Now, go and release him from his terror he's in. And make sure he never dates that girl, I am sure he would be fine in life without worrying about 'that' happening to himself.

A nod of her head would be made as she continued focusing on keeping the genjutsu running even as she made a mental note of the Kai Release handseals so that she could break this boy out of the jutsu before releasing it for real. Walking up to him, the kid screaming for someone to help him before Miko ate his heart in front of him, the girl would make the handeals in rapid succession before doing a light touch against the side of his forehead. The light touch was to make sure she did not accidentally break him out with outside influences of pain, the only thing breaking him out being the jutsu she was being taught how to use. A gasp of air, a sudden movement to sit up as if from nightmare, and the boy was suddenly aware of where he was again. Dropping the genjutsu completely, Zaida would try to begin apologizing but would be interrupted before she could do so.

"Very good, Zaida. I would say that's enough of that for now. Take him to the infirmary, have them make sure the mental trauma wasn't too much for him. Seemed like he was definitely not enjoying himself there." With that said, Zaida would escort her classmate to the infirmary while apologizing to him the whole way. Her intent was to learn, not hurt anyone, and even though she had learned two new things to do with the use of chakra she still felt bad for making him think he was being eaten alive.
