Team 7 Mission's Continued.

Mission details:

She had to go on another mission with him, pretty much right after the first mission where she had found out the same Rei who she saw around the district all the time, was their captain. Honestly, considering she had someone whom she knew and trusted as a teacher? Akira was not too keen on just running off and working with someone like Bet, the way she saw him for the moment painted him in a very incapable light in her gaze! "Hurry Up." their teacher was fairly right to worry about their teamwork because Akira had no idea how she would be able to properly work with him! How was she supposed to work with someone who saw everything almost the opposite of how she viewed things, who believed any problem could be solved with punching in the end.

How was she going to complete this mission with him?! Akira went over the details in her head again, wearing a pair of jeans and the typical Uchiha t-shirt, hair tied into a bun and forehead protector tied around her neck; How in the world was Bet going to tend to a farm with her, there was nothing to punch there. The small Uchiha was wondering if she would be able to complete this mission with her teammate, wondering as she walked along the path to the farm if he would somehow ruin things by trying to punch things that shouldn't be punched. "No punching anything here, tending a field does not involve punching things." she made the comment offhand, shoving her hands into her pocket's.

Bet followed her as she rushed them to the site of their next mission. Tending to a garden. He noticed by the way she talked, that she seemed to think he was a brute of some kind. Well, tending a garden was something he was able to do easily! "We actually have a garden at my clan's compound, so no worries about that! Plus, not everything is about punching, geez pigtail-chan, why are you so violent?" He was oblivious to the fact apparently, that he was the violent one of the two. Though, once they arrived to the field, he immediately got to work. Grabbing a stick with two large buckets on each end. Filling each with water, he would move slowly, pouring a little at each crop. Once he ran out he went and filled them back up and kept at it. He didnt pay much attention to what she was doing, as this was something he had to do every day.

Oh, she didn't just 'think' her teammate was an utter dim-brained brute, she knew beyond a doubt that's what he was! Of course, she may also just be a bit adverse towards the idea of hand to hand combat, considering that was a good skill of someone else within her family. Bet was another reminder of something she could never be good at, considering the male specialized in a skill she also had next to no talent within. Expect for swords? Akira couldn't seem to find anything she was good at, least not when she was busy comparing her progress to that of others.

The young Uchiha did not even regard her partner as she gathered several baskets, went to work on hand and knee picking the ripe blueberries from their bushes. Eventually, ebony eyes glanced up, noticing a good portion of the field had actually been water and fairly quickly at that. "Suppose this one is your's punchy." her comment was short, it was hard admitting she had misjudged his ability in this as she picked up another berry batch and dropped it into the basket, getting up and struggling to lift the now nearly full basket as she had to carry it to the next row to keep harvesting.

Akira was small, the basket she had been pushing and filling was at least half her height, intended for largely adult use. Logically, there was no way she was going to be able to move it on her, any onlooker could see that. However, the girl was stubborn and she wasn't going to just ask Bet for help because she was having a small challenge.

Bet had only a little ways to go before he was finished watering the field. This was not that much of a load compared to what he had to do at the compound as they grew all of the food they ate, and his clan ate a LOT due to their nature as pure Taijutsu users. SO, once he finished watering the field, he placed the buckets back where he found them and then decided to look for his teammate. He saw her struggling with a basket and decided that he would try to help her. Though, he knew enough about pride that he wouldn't just take her basket and lift it for her, instead, he would approach her and ask if she needed help. This may surprise her some, as while he is brutish in most cases, he was raised by a bunch of people who grew up in a monastery, so he knew some things about being kind and helpful. Approaching the girl, he would speak up, "Pigtail-chan, would you want some help with that basket? It looks a little heavy!" If he were honest with himself, it couldn't be as heavy as it seemed, but he didn't want to insult her in any way.

Considering the fact that her family was fairly well off, any gardening or farming she saw most of the time was a leisure activity, someone's time-intensive hobby, instead of anything needed for livelihood. Akira herself also really never ate a lot compared to most other's, sometimes one may wonder if she even needed to eat, as the only thing she seemed to eat was when her family did and such, which was odd as most of the time people snacked at least occasionally, got hungry before a meal. Pigtail-chan leaned in a slouched manner against her basket, glancing at Bet when he came over, realizing he was done with his crop watering. Stupid dim-witted brute, what a show-off! Now he was going to treat her like she was some helpless girl who couldn't do anything, it was internally infuriating, once more she was lucky to have a nearly unbeatable poker face if she wasn't passionate about the people surrounding her.

Akira scoffed, turning her body away and crossing her arms at the same time, hair slinging back yet not serving as too much of a shield due to the way she had it tied. "Fine." she spoke short per her normal and refused to look at him for the moment. Why could someone only four inches taller than her go around carrying stuff like that! Of course, Bet was also likely twice as heavy compared to her, thus had more room for muscle, but it didn't mean she still couldn't internally hit it.

Bet could practically taste the girl's frustration at feeling like he was being demeaning to her or something, but that was not it at all! He sighed, a bit uncharacteristically, "Everyone has their strengths, Pigtail-chan." He would then carry the blueberry basket wherever they needed it to go, until they had finished that task and were ready to  move on to the next in their list. This would also be their final mission of the day, it would be to find a locket that some elderly woman had lost. This would be difficult, as Konoha was a big village, and Bet had a hard time finding things in his room sometimes. He would make his way towards where the old woman lived, "C'mon Pigtail-chan!" he would wave her to follow him. He was back to his energetic self it would seem. Unable to keep all the energy his clan naturally had in check as well as some of the other members of said clan, but that was okay by him, he would just put that energy into getting  stronger than all of them combined!

Luckily for Bet, the girl's frustration was more with the concept of requiring help from anyone, as opposed to being angry with him, even if she could convince herself that it was his fault for being too freakishly strong, there was no way she was weak. Akira followed closely behind as the male returned the harvested blueberries to their place so the farmer could easily find them when he arrived home, a small frown marring her face for a moment as he insisted everyone had their talents. If she did have a talent, the girl wanted to know where her's was! Sometimes it seemed like she wasn't good at anything when compared to how amazing those around her happened to be.

"Coming." one more mission and then she could go home, wouldn't have to be reminded how amazing Bet was compared to her! Akira was quick to fall into a swift stride with the male, nearly sprinting to keep pace due to how much shorter she was causing her legs to be shorter. For some reason? She didn't seem short of breath like a normal person would, so at the very least maybe she had a good ability to keep stamina wise. Hopefully this would be a quick task.

When the duo arrived at the woman's house, they would find the elderly woman standing in front of her house waiting for them. She seemed to be in her early nineties, and that was being generous! Bet decided that he wouldn't try to take as much of a lead here as he was very bad at finding things. "Pigtail-chan, I'm not that great at finding stuff, do you think you can take the lead here?" He looked rather sheepish, as though this was something that he was embarrassed about not having any skill in whatsoever. His tail hung low and swept the ground, it was rather odd to see the energetic boy so embarrassed. He recalled a time when he lost the belt to one of his Gi's. It had taken him three months to find it.=, and it was only through sheer luck that he even DID find it. Long story short, he was atrocious at searching for things, which made him the weakest link in this mission as far as he was concerned.

Akira looked forward at the old woman, the client who was clearly one of the oldest people in the village. Had the elderly been a Ninja in their younger days, or had they lived so long by living as a normal citizen? She couldn't deny being curious, the little girl would love to see what her family looked like in nearly a century like this woman got the benefit of. Of course, that sort of thing could also be a curse as well, if things didn't turn out well. Seeing the woman, the young Uchiha bowed subtly, a respectful gesture of greeting, which the small smile on the elderly's face showed she appreciated.

"Yeah, that's fine Bet." the female walked forward towards their client, holding the hand of the elderly woman to lead her into the house. "I've already found it." even if she did not like people very much? Akira was not so callous as to neglect the elderly, she'd treat this woman like she would her own mother at this age! "Ma'am." the girl helped the old woman sit down on her own couch, pale hand lowering to the woman's neck, slipping her hand under the locket itself, an easy mission but a sad one, the woman was so old she couldn't even find a necklace on her own neck.

Bet watched in awed amazement as his teammate walked up and immediately found the object of their desire! It was amazing! It would have taken him forever to find that thing and here she found it in a matter of seconds. "Way to go Pigtail-chan! That was amazing!!" He would give her a thumbs up pose. But, that was their last mission for the day so he would be heading home soon to do his afternoon training and tending to his chores around the compound. "Well, it was nice meeting you Pigtail-chan, whatever your real name is. I look forward to working with you!" He would smile and then bow swiftly before leaving. Making his way back to his clan compound, it would be a while before he was able to go on another mission as many things would happen in the village in the next few weeks, from a terrorist attack, to the death of a Hokage, the Funeral and Inauguration of the Second Hokage. It was a busy few weeks to be sure, but he trained diligently every day, all day in hopes that he would get to test himself soon.
