Walking home back from the land of iron equipped back with a smile and a new lover in his best friend, the both of them officially willing to be one together after all their struggles. He shipped all their clothes to her apartment so that they would be able to walk free free hands. As he walked, he would look up to the starry sky, so beautiful despite being back in the land of the Nishizaka massacre. They were just heading back on their way home, and he'll likely ask to stay over at her place for the night. After all, he would rather spend time with her than anyone else for the moment.

"Hey love, would you mind if I stay over at your place?" The Ayano would ask plainly, not even caring if she found a way to twist his words into one of her innuendos. If anything, that just made things better. Little did they know of the one being that wanted to check in to see if Hibiya was left hanging where she wanted him. Much to that blonde girl's surprise, she'll find the only trace being his blood on the tree. It was just at the moment they returned too. Hibiya and Yori walked towards their death sentences. -Seri :]

Yori walked along with him happily, the wonderful memories of the day they'd just had dancing through her mind much like she had earlier. She'd said it before, but Hibiya truly did know how to show a girl a good time, especially one that had been through a lot of trauma recently. Now it was as if it hadn't happened at all, though she wasn't delusional enough to really think they'd return and her home would have reverted back to the way it was.

As if to drive home that reminder, her first thought at his question was wondering how she'd sneak him into her room at the estate so her parents wouldn't know. It would take a while to really hammer in that her home was razed and her family had entered the afterlife. After making a mental note to go plant memorial trees to replace the ones that had burned, she turned her face to her lover and smiled. "You know you can always stay over at my place~" she purred, elbowing him while winking suggestively. "I'll never turn you away."

He laughed as she let out her usual remarks, feeling more comfortable with her saying them than he used to be flustered. It was all in mere jest, that message seemed to rub well with him. Overall, he certainly chose well for marriage, and his parents likely will think the same once they meet her. Mr. Ayano was a pretty bold man who made jokes that could be deemed controversial, but it was all for the sake of entertainment. Mrs. Ayano probably keeps him in check however, ready to smack with a rolling pin if one dares disobey her. It was a tough form of love.

As they neared closer to the village, approximately a good mile or two away, they would stumble onto one girl with her hands placed in her pockets and a smile on her face. No doughnut? Uh-Oh~ :DDDDD The same blonde they met when they lost their tribe, she was the one that nearly turned Yori into a ticking time bomb. Hibiya's gaze sharpened as if he were in a dream and tried to wake up, all nerves heightening and body stiff for only a brief moment before braced. tHIS iS HiS niGhtMMmMMMarE nOw!!!!1!!11111

"You're back to play with me!?" She exclaimed happily, jumping childishly for a brief moment with a stupid smile on her face, acting her age for once. But the mask fooled him none, Hibiya clenched his teeth, unable to find words to let out to even convey how he felt.

Yori could certainly find the words he couldn't. "You bitch..." she trailed in a voice already seething darkly, uncaring for the girl's age. The bliss from just moments ago evaporated like fog under a summer's sun and she was violently thrown back into her darkest days, with all the rage and pain that entailed.

Her hair promptly untied itself from the bun on her head, shimmering and floating around her like an aura for just a second before it sectioned into four sets of two tendrils and lengthened considerably. Wasting no time, she began lashing her locks out at Seri, trying to punch, whip, or smash whatever parts of her she could possibly get to. Perhaps subconsciously Yori was holding back, in error thinking she didn't need full strength immediately to take on one small girl. Yes, she'd faced Seri indirectly twice before, but the entire Fuya clan had also been there, the menfolk looking to greedily take everything she could be taken for as a woman. The rage and gravity of those situations had called for every ounce of strength and ability she had. Too bad she didn't unleash that now and get it over with, but Konoha was known for teaching mercy and restraint to their ninjas. Those two traits were tried, even now. "I'll kill you this time."

Yori hesitated none to declare her strikes, her hair spreading chaos with all sorts of weaponry from her hair. Out of all things, she used techniques that came from her own bloodline. Seri smiled as her hair would manipulate as well, creating her own forms of weaponry to combat Yori's evenly for the moment, holding back some of her own strength so that she was given a chance to taunt. "Heeeeey! There's a woman there that had that voice~" Seri explained with a smirk, her eyes focused on Yori's face to see what kind of reaction she got. The child then proceeded to mimic moans in a higher pitched voice as if to mimic the mentioned woman, the reference being to the mother who raised the last Nishizaka.

Hibiya was having none of this. When Yori declared that she will kill Seri, he would rush forward, placing his palm against her shoulder as he would run past her. "You're not alone on this one..." Hibiya replied, agreeing completely with eliminating her. He continued to charge with all five chakra blades extended as he would aim to get into close combat with the Fuya clan member. He tried to get close to her and slice with all five of them, in which she neatly dodged by moving backwards with a swift speed that actually matched him... As if his speed were nothing. This girl was nothing natural...

Hibiya tried to get closer, but she merely dodged over and over as he chased her in a full circle before she suddenly jumped at him, kicking him hard on the stomach. His body was still balanced, feet against the dirt as he slid back towards Yori at a speed of 75. Her getting hit shouldn't do much more than making her fall. As for dodging, if she saw it coming, she'll likely be able to move out of the way in time.

If she was looking for a reaction, it's not like Yori's facial expression could get any worse. She was filled with rage, but was at least calm enough to reason unlike before. This kid could use her peoples' kekkei genkai. Right. That's what they did, traveling around and stealing DNA to gain more and more power. She'd like to think Seri's version would ultimately be weaker than hers, if just just because of beliefs. Nishizaka hair was said to be special and strong because of the ritualistically fastidious care they took of it. Only the more pure and organic cleansers, dunking the hair into Mikami's waterfall, hours of meditation in the peace of the forest...she knew the Fuya weren't doing all of that. Mikami couldn't bless what they'd done. Either way, until she figure out a way around it, she needed to use things that couldn't be matched by her own clan's DNA.

As Hibiya was kicked back toward her, her first impulse was to catch him. However, if she did, they'd both be down. This wasn't a fight where they could let her have the upper hand unchallenged, so she dodged out of the way instead. First, she made a lava clone, sending the copy of herself rushing at Seri with swift taijutsu kicks and punches. Then, making some swift handsigns, she kneaded lava chakra up into her scalp, covering her hairs in obsidian. Giving her locks a little shake, the brittle obsidian broke into razor sharp, jagged edged tiny blades. She began aiming and slinging these deadly projectiles at Seri like a machine gun, having hundreds to spare.

Hibiya's body continued to sleep before he had enough force to eventually stop in place, just mere inches from being slammed into a tree. Though rocked for a second, he found the strength to press against the ground and leap back into the action.

Seri refused to let one detail slip, the fact that her hair was deemed weaker in the sense that it wasn't blessed. The power of the other clans served as enough fuel, meaning she can get drained using her body as a sacrifice to amplify the effects of the stolen KKG. Simply put, the more powerful a KKG is than it's supposed to be, the more her body gets damaged.

"And like this, you'll all disperse!" Seri declared, closing her eyes and opening them to reveal the dreaded eyes of the Uchiha clan. An active Sharingan with a lack of their blood, one can expect more strain of the body to occur if any Mangekyou jutsu were to be used. At the very least, it allowed her to be far more perceptive and agile, the movements of the lava clone narrowly evaded without much a sweat broken. Seri was unsure about whether to strike back since she wasn't used to fighting non-clan based jutsu, usually able to destroy any of them at half-illumination.

So she took a shot, trying to get rid of the source of the problem with the Mangekyou, her eyes attempting to lock into Yori's before casting chakra out quickly... Tsukuyomi. But before given the chance to execute the deadly technique, Hibiya lunged towards her as fast as he could while her attention was wrapped around Yori. His attempt seemed successfully, hand placed on her shoulder before physically throwing her towards the incoming lava spikes. Even more strain on her eyes for using the eyes, more the body for amplifying the clan's power. All the lava spikes as well to pierce through her, she let out a disturbed scream as they were physically burning into her.

Yet both faded as she landed back against the ground. Despite her attempts, she was just an inexperienced Fuya clan fighter. She couldn't fight far battles, and certainly not battles where the opponents could fight seperately and yet still together.

She her heart still had a beat, despite the burning lava seeping through her. Her eyes open, and a bloody smirk that refused to die off, as she was still alive. Safety came in numberems, Seri never understood such until now. After all, she was still a stupid kid

Yori was much more reasonable this go around. While she had no qualms about killing Seri, she wanted to get some info first. Killing the girl would soothe a little of the revenge she still longed for, but taking out the whole clan would soothe a lot. "Hold her still," Yori said, the left over obsidian falling from her hair to shatter on the ground.

Pulling her sword, she coated it in bubbling lava and pointed it at Seri upon approach. "Listen here. Give us the location of the rest of your wretched clan," she demanded, clearly enraged, but thankfully in control. Her blue eyes were the icy blue of ultra searing fire. Admittedly, she didn't expect Seri to give up the information simply because the girl was a demon, but it was worth a shot. With as much pain as the child must be in, there was at least a small chance she'd give an answer, if only because she thought sending the two of them to her clan would end in their deaths. Strength in numbers, after all. "Tell me. Do something useful with your last breath."

As brave a move it was for her to step so closely when she ordered him to hold Seri down, he refused to stop her, believing that his chakra blades launched towards her clothing and pinning her down will be enough to prevent damage. Restricted limbs, then one more blade above her throat. To move upwards with forced would behead a human, and he believed even a Fuya clan member wouldn't be so stupid.

Yori began with an interrogation, it seems she was still on the hunt for the Fuya clan, though perhaps with a much less twisted nature.

Seri however didn't see a reason to give her anything. With her eyes closed, she waited for the moment that Yori looked down towards her based on the footstep sounds she could hear so clearly. When they stopped, the blonde let the Nishizaka have her five seconds of glory before opening up her eyes again, both of them with the Sharingan active still. All the chakra in her body flowed through her bloodstream like river rapids as they sent one last effort, her heart taking massive damage in the attempt, but the brain taking a beating harder than it could dish out thanks to her own corrupted DNA.

As if trying to cast a whispered spell, her eyes locked with Yori's blue eyes. And at last,the genjutsu finally landed on it's mark. Even better for her, it looked so normal to Hibiya. It could take days in Seri's world, but a mere second in the real world. The first thing to be seen should be Seri's eyes, both of them possessing the Sharingan before a black massive puddle of a floor is active. Any step results in the ground feeling like water with how much it spread small waves.

Yori will find herself trapped within Seri's world without a Seri to administer it presently. No, there was a much different gift for her to receive should she search around for a little. Who could it be?

There was no way around it, there will be a boy with blonde hair standing alone out in the distance? Does she chase after him? Not like that mattered, he noticed her from the moment she stepped foot on the watery surface. Much like water chakra control, right!?

Hmmm... Yori can't move now. She'll find herself in a sudden state of paralysis with no control over her body as the boy continued to step forth towards her. His footsteps echoed despite being on water, as if he were stomping in an echo chamber. With a loud bang as if each step were a gunshot fired beside her ears, the blessing of hearing perhaps being lost with every step.

There he is! The big boss himself, Ayano! As he approaches his lover without so much as a care in the world, he took his lovely Lynir blade forged wonderfully from his emotions and slit his throat through in front of her.

But what was this? He managed to pull only halfway through? Awwwww, a shame, he still has some time to act then! Despite the blood to pour on Yori for Hibiya striking an artery, he would drop Lynir and aim both strong hands towards her throat, pushing all his weight against hers. Both will crash through the water, as he wanted her to drown, sinking her head against the water while keeping their bodies afloat. Not even a single word, he would constantly shake her by the neck above and below the surface so that he could kill her, doing anything in his power to end it al-

O-out... Of the...Tsukuyomi? Though Hibiya was unawa...re, he could tell something was wrong. Seri's body suddenly jolted before it stopped, her pulse inactive and presumably dead. But Yori... What happened to Yori?

It probably looked odd, the young woman that had previously had so much fire in her pursuit for justice just standing there, staring at Seri with such a blank expression. True, it was only a second, but enough to seem like a complete break from her look and countenance the second before. Something happened.

Even to someone who had a little experience with genjutsu, there was no way she could undo this one. It was too powerful. She'd heard about the Uchiha eyes and this sort of dark form of torment, but she'd never thought she'd experience it, especially from someone not actually an Uchiha. Yori had been stupid and careless. Worse still, even having this knowledge didn't save her from the effects. It was already an uncomfortable break in the psyche to know what something is, but also be unable to not react to it. This was horrific. This was darkness. Her love, her only relationship left on earth was killing himself right before her, spraying her with his life force then trying to take her with him. There was no power she could draw on to stop either thing, only left to bask in the abject hellaciousness that felt like a never ending purgatory of dying without the relief of death. She didn't even have the luxury of screaming.

The abruptness with which she was ejected from Tsukuyomi was just as torturous. She continued to stand there blankly, unseeing and uncaring about the dead child before her. She was frozen, her mind trying to process, purge, reboot. The genjutsu was like a fatal error in the system, one that could potentially crash the whole thing if it could not be worked around.

The frozen Yori started to thaw, starting with a quiver in her legs that rapidly ascended to seize her whole body. Knees buckled. A cold sweat took her. It was just a genjutsu. It was just a genjutsu. No, it was Tsukuyomi. That reality, no matter how mentally long and physically brief, had become her very real timeless reality. Now that her body was at least partially under her control, it decided to lurch forward and purge the stomach contents, as if that would solve everything. Resting back on her knees, she gasped for air as if she had just been released from Hibiya's hands and could finally breathe.

With much effort she raised her eyes, finally seeing that somehow, even though she'd seemingly spent hours if not days in hell, there was Seri and Hibiya. Right as they had been so long ago- no, only a short time? Her brain couldn't process the incongruity. Seri looked harmless now, and Hibiya wasn't spurting blood or actively trying to wring the life from her. Relief? Terror? Yori was probably going into shock now.

Hibiya noticed that Yori's eyes were blank, hollow in fact. Nothing was inside of them, not the slightest shine or emotion. "Yori?" He asked, now very much confused and perhaps a little worried since neither a reply nor a follow up part of the questioning occurred. It was as if he were trapped in a space and time technique, but he would be luckier if that were the case. Instead, she seemed to have a much more... Panicked... Expression. Beautiful eyes fallen into a pit of despair. Her state of shock did not go unnoticed, as the blonde immediately would press his chakra blade off of the Fuya clan member.

"Yori, stay with me!" Hibiya would command, hoping some words would snap her back into reality. As he did this, he would place his hands on her shoulders, trying to look deeper into her eyes to see if there was some mark in them that he was unaware of. Perhaps a fuinjutsu he wasn't seeing? No such luck, not even a trace. The Ayano did his best to inspect for something on her body from top to body with merely moving his head up and down, but nothing. "What is going on?"

He touched her, and despite herself she flinched as if he was going to hurt her. Her skin was cool and clammy, and her body continued to shake. "Tsu..." she rasped through a tight throat. Her pulse raced, as did her breathing. Her dilated eyes focused on his, trying to bring herself out of shock but there wasn't much she could do on her own. The world was spinning, and the nausea was still very present. She was barely strong enough to keep her own body from falling to the ground.

"..Tsukuyomi," she finally got out, hoping it would explain her predicament. Yori then groaned, lowering her head as she continued to feel exceptionally crappy. "Going into...shock...pretty sure...heh," she tried to laugh even now, but she clearly she was wrecked. "Sorry...that was careless. I..forgot about...her eyes...is she dead?" she asked, feeling worse now because even the small justice of killing Seri had probably been taken from her. And they still didn't know where the rest of the clan was. Dammit....dammit!

He didn't know what Tsukuyomi was, nor did he understand how she fell under the shock she did. It was... Back to the hospital back in Konoha. One dead body was enough, he didn't want there to be one made from his lover. "Hang in there!" Hibiya called to her despite her being just in front of him. Arms shaking as he held onto her shoulders, he was stuck in a hellish frozen state that burned him inside. Part of him wants to look back to the dead body of the little girl and give it a good kick, but he knew what would happen if he dared try that.

No asking, no permission, he just picked her up in her shocked state, right palm against her back and left palm against the back of her knees. It was going to be a struggle considering that brutal kick to the stomach he took, but he paced as far as he could... Little did he know that he took a little bit of Seri along with them when they killed her. A small burning could be felt in his heart for a small moment, like heartburn perhaps... And then it would subtly fade away like nothing.


Under strict supervision, Hibiya sat down with his family on his big sister's bed. There Yori would lie, to the family, she was seemingly still. An active pulse was present according to his mother, who specialized in the body of the samurai branches. But as for when she was waking up from... Tsukuyomi, that was undetermined since Hibiya didn't tell them how it happened. Simply put, he lied. This was just some random wildchild of Konoha that happened to be in his path. It brought her into his family at least without the wild thoughts and accusations. It was a lie, but he felt it was needed to prevent them from escalating things instead of helping him.

After stirring for a few moments, her eyes fluttered open. How was it that a brain could be sore? Everything was kinda sore, actually. She groaned, turning her head to find Hibiya's face. Her eyes softened a bit in relief, only to become a little alarmed again with the new faces hovering nearby. A short scan of the room told her she wasn't at the hospital, which seemed weird. Nothing but Hibiya was familiar. Was she in someone's house? Why were so many people watching her?

"Where am I?" she asked in a quiet voice, though she may already know once the grogginess wears off. The faces peering over her shared characteristics with the one face she knew very well. Reaching a hand up to her head, Yori worked at sorting out the last jumble of memories she had. Right. She'd been Tsukuyomi'ed until her brain was almost mush. Add that to the rest of the traumatic things she already dreamed about. Just sifting through her reality recently was enough to make her depressed. The only good thing that came through it all was Hibiya. She looked back to him, searching his face for an answer.

Waking up in itself was a miracle for Hibiya, who fought back against his desire to want to open his arms and embrace her. She was beyond confused, understandably since she was in his house with a bunch of strangers she never knew. A whole family of blondes, most of them looking similar to him in one way or another. But he remained calm and took his father's place of welcoming her to the Ayano household. "Are you feeling all right?" Hibiya asked, ignoring his father's gaze when he did so. He reached out a palm to her for her to take. "Hibiya Ayano of the family household, it's a good thing we found you when we did. It's not safe to be alone out in the woods, you know."

He was trying to slowly hint to her some story that he made up. It was difficult since he also needed to keep it believable for them. "Ayyyyyy! Welcome!" A smaller sister declared happily, appearing to be a good seven years old, jumped onto Yori's legs like the excited little child she was. Though she was a blonde little girl, she possessed an aura of innocence unlike the Fuya they met. This was Yusa Ayano. It didn't take long for the eldest sister to quickly take action, wrapping her arms around squirming Yusa.

"Right... Uh... Welcome." She followed up before glaring at Yusa from above, who returned the look with a pout as she tried to reach out to Yori. Hibiya couldn't help but laugh a little from the two, though glad he had at least one younger brother with a bit of sense to do nothing.

"Hibiya is right, welcome to the household. Though may I ask you how you got knocked out cold?" His father would ask, the interrogator himself, not even wasting a moment to get answers out of Yori and see who they were bringing into the home. If Yori took a chance to look at Hibiya, he would roll his right wrist forward in a circle a few times. He never gave a story, so she was free to make one up.

Yori squinted at Hibiya, now shaken. It wasn't reassuring for someone recently suffering a bend in reality like Tsukuyomi and the general trend of trauma to have a friend, a lover, pretending not to know her. Had she actually lost her mind? Hibiya, who had been her best friend even before the massacre, didn't know her? Had she imagined the whole thing after seeing him on her property so long ago? The nausea returned a bit, turning her pale. A shaky palm reached out to take his, numbly shaking it as she felt everything she knew was a fraud. What was real anymore? Releasing his hand, she returned it to her lap once she sat herself up a bit more.

She turned paler still when the small blonde girl pounced on her, at first thinking it was Seri. Good thing she didn't react, seeing as how it was made obvious that it was a younger sister of the boy that may or may not know her. She nodded an uncertain greeting to the older sister, her eyes coming to rest on the patriarch. Yori actually cowered a little under his intimidating aura. In her confusion and discomfort, her eyes flickered to Hibiya long enough to catch his motion. Ok, so maybe they did know each other. Then what was all of this? Feeling a bit betrayed, she faced Hibiya's father. "Tsukuyomi," she answered, having a bit of trouble with coherent speech...possibly for Hibiya's benefit. "Seri died..."

The father looked over to his wife after hearing the explanation, who nodded her head in agreement to confirm that it was Tsukuyomi. With that, he felt she was telling him the truth due to her condition matching up with the effects of the genjutsu. "Seri now? He asked as he turned to Hibiya, the one who never mentioned the blonde girl they had to fight. Though it pained him a small amount to do it, he needed to fabricate another part of the story. His mother may be able to handle a strong illusion like Tsukuyomi, but it came with the cost of his family pressuring him for a full story.

Though the mention of the name brought a sudden thud to his heart, one that forced himself to wince a small amount before the brief burning in him faded. Hibiya tried to play it off as if it were nothing. "Father, I noticed another girl lying on the ground. Her body was down, but there was no pulse active. I... Had no idea this young lady may have known her."

It was a loosely made story, but the family seemed to buy it as they turned back onto the young girl. Head Ayano spoke one again, this time in a much calmer tone rather than stern. "We retrieved one member of the leaf. We'll hear more of this later, but the strain in her mind must be intolerable. So for now, we will exit."

"Father, if I may, may I stay for a few moments with her?" Hibiya asked hastily after he said they would leave, not wanting to lose a chance to speak about what really happened to Yori. Though he seemed to question it at first, his father would nod his head afterwards to affirm his approval. And so the rest would walk out of the room, likely to leave his big sister to sleep on the couch if Yori stayed for days.

Once left alone, he would look back to Yori and raise his right palm. "Hey..." He greeted awkwardly.

Once left alone, her intense blue eyes focused on him like laser beams. Hostile laser beams. Yeah, he better be awkward, because she was pretty damn pissed and confused. "What the hell, Hibiya?!" she hissed, getting out of his sister's bed and onto her shaky legs. "Do I know you past five minutes ago or are we together? My brain just got fried by a Fuya, so if you are juts pretending to not know me, that's pretty screwed up," Yori continued in a low, shaky voice, not knowing what was what now. Was he her boyfriend? Then why hadn't he taken the time to introduce her properly to the family he wanted her to join? So was he a stranger she'd just met once, and her mind fabricated everything?

She pointed at him as if she had more to say, but then seemed to think better of it. "Actually, nevermind. I think I should go," she breathed, raising a hand to her head as if it was foggy and aching. "Tell the rest of the Ayano thanks for the hospitality. This member of the leaf wants to go home."

Her reaction was unexpected, in the sense that he didn't expect an impulsive wa of thinking. First, what mattered to her more? Recovery would have been his best guess, but she was fretting over a social issue. Or perhaps the Tsukuyomi did do some damage to her brain. So he sighed after she let out her rant before then replying simply. "You'd be executed the second I just state that." The blonde explained as he pressed his arms over his chest. "How many ninja actually know how to heal Tsukuyomi. That's rhetorical of course, because the aftereffects seem to have little no cure from ninja."

Her pointed finger didn't go unnoticed, bark refusing to turn to bite.
"We are Samurai with stern rules, one of them being for marriage. But simply put, I'm not one to follow the rules." He placed his hands in the pocket of his hoodie, clenching his teeth a little from the cloth rubbing the burn on his stomach from the kick Seri gave him. The story holds no water if he told his family of it, he'll just endure it. "We also are not ninja, our methods are a different form of advanced. An expert such as mom patched up what a normal ninja couldn't."

Her attempt to leave only summoned a headshake of disapproval. "Easy, easy. Don't leave so easily, not while we still need to handle another bit of business after your recover." There was a lack of care for her current actions since she was likely still out of it. "After all, there is one concern on my mind."

She just stared at him. Did he really not understand? She didn't know the ways of the samurai. Yori had no clue anyone could be that strict, though that explained why he had thought her clan would really hurt him if he was caught. What kind of people were these? And could he not put himself in her shoes, that waking up to someone you love pretending not to know you after your brain was scrambled could be as alarming as getting a kunai to the back by an ally. Regardless of situation, regardless that he'd done what he had to to keep her safe, surely he could empathize? Or maybe not...

"I'm grateful to your mom," she started again barely above a whisper, shrinking into herself as she tried to calm. He had been so easy going about asking her to be his lover and marrying her one day, but he'd left out the apparent difficulties that would lead him to deny her in front of them so she could live.
