Missions:

Eio left his home as he always did, with a purpose that would be fulfilled as quickly and efficiently as possible. Today he had taken on a rather heft list of assignments, but he had already come up with plans to get all of them done today with plenty of time to spare. His first task would probably be one of the more difficult in that it required more leg work than most of the others did. Apparently some student had escaped from the academy and was running loose through the village somewhere. This wouldn't matter to Eio in the slightest, but the instructors were a different story. They needed the kid back in their presence before any harm befell him or he caused any mischief around the village. So, Eio went to searching. Surely the kid wouldn't have gone home, as that is the first place most people would look, so the park was the next best option. When he arrived to the park, he found the boy running around having a grand old time. But, it was time for this fun to end. Eio immediately appeared next to the boy and grabbed him up, and before he was able to even protest, he was back at the academy in front of a very pissed instructor. Receiving his pay, Eio would head out to his next mission.

His next mission would probably prove to be among the easiest as it is more aligned with the training he has gone through as a shinobi. He was to simply kill a bear that had been attacking local farmers just outside of the village. The only useful information they had to give was that this bear was apparently immune to fire, as they had no doubt tried to use it to scare the beast away. Eio however would use far less rudimentary tactics to rid them of their bear problem once and for all, in a single attack if the opportunity presented itself. Arriving at the farm, he would look around. No sign of a bear yet, other than the destruction around him that seemed pretty recent. Dead animals and crops were dug up, definite signs of a bear. Before he was able to investigate any more, he hear a roar and turned around to see the beast charging him. This would be his opportunity to take the thing down, so he let it come with all its might. When it got close enough, he simply punched it in the jaw with an uppercut. It was hard enough that there was a sickening snap and the bear was no more. He didn't care what the farmer's did with the body, but he accepted his pay and headed back into the village.

His next task was one that had been reported by a disgruntled parent who was in the hospital watching over their injured daughter. Apparently some of the local academy children had gotten their hands on some actual shinobi weapons and were using them instead of the fakes to play ninja in a nearby park. This foolish game has already led to one child seriously injured and it was now up to him to take the weapons away before anything worse happened to the rest of the children at play. When he arrived at the park, he found no one there, so this was an oddity. But, he could hear the sounds of children through the trees nearby so he went to check it out. Coming through the thicket, he found them. Throwing kunai and shuriken at eachother, laughing as they missed and went to pick them up to try again. The next thing that happened to them, happened so fast, they were unable to comprehend what had happened. Eio rushed in, much faster than any of the children could see and took all of the weapons away that they had been using and left a cut on each of their hands so they would know that they weren't supposed to use real weapons when playing games. He wold return the weapons to the academy to receive his pay, warning them that a bunch of crying kids were on their way.

Next, he was off to the village gates to take a young couple on a tour of the village, as well as help them get settled in for their honeymoon. Once he arrived to start the tour, he would first lead them to the academy, explaining the intricacies of the shinobi influence throughout the village. He would then take them through the market district where they spent some time looking around at the different wares and vendors in the area. After a while, they were ready to resume their tour. The next stop was at the kage tower, that would be accompanied by a brief introduction into the roles and responsibilities assumed by the Takikage, along with slight jabs at how he was failing to fulfill these rolls. Once they left there, they went to the giant tree that stood in the center of the village. The couple was absolutely awestruck by its size and beauty. Their next stop was the hidden waterfalls throughout the village. They were as numerous as they were breathtaking. Once they had gotten through all that, he took them to their hotel which was located on the street with all of the finest dining that Taki had to offer. He bid them farewell after they payed him and suggested a few activities and restaurants for them to check out while there.

Next, he was to head to a local training ground to do a bit of spring cleaning, as it were. Apparently, some shinobi had no regard for how they left their village looking after they finished training. There were scattered debris from training dummies and rocks everywhere. Along with various other bits of trash that were scattered around the field, no doubt where the foolish and lazy ninja had eaten at the grounds and just left their trash. Eio was a very neat person by nature, so the thought that someone could be so lazy and ignorant of the consequences of their actions sort of got under his skin. As he got to work, picking up the various pieces of scattered debris from training dummies and rocks everywhere, along with the various other bits of trash that were scattered around the field, he knew it would take some time to get it all, but with hard work and diligence, he knew he would be able to get it in plenty of time. Once he finished, he would return to the village office to pick up his reward as well as request someone monitor the training grounds for further occurrences of this behavior.

His next task was going to be just as simple and rudimentary as the last, but it was a paying job and for what he had planned for his future, funds would come in handy. Yes, Eio Aijin planned to overthrow the government of Takigakure and take over the village for himself. Not only that, but he planned to spread his villages influence throughout the known world. He would take over the entirety of the elemental nations if he could help it, and he just needed money and allies to do it. The hardest part of finding allies was to find someone whom you could trust and whom would willingly subjugate themselves to you without question. This would be the hardest part of it all, because not only were there few trust worthy people in the shinobi nations, but there were even less who would willingly bow down to anyone else as their king, especially if this person was taking over their nation by force. These were all thoughts Eio had as he made his way up to the woman's room to get rid of her garbage. It was simple, he picked it up, and then jumped out of the nearest window, using chakra to survive the fall and threw the trash away. The woman paid in advanced when he took the trash, so there was no need to rescale the building.

His next task was going to be more arduous than anything else. He had to paint a wall that had been vandalized with graffiti. This would be the simple part. The more difficult, or annoying part, would be that he had to work with a stubborn old man to do this job. And he knew from experience, this man didn't care about true progress, he was set in his ways and would make all those around him adhere to his ways. It was difficult to argue with someone who is right, but it is impossible to argue with someone who refuses to believe they are wrong. So, he would have to bend his knee a bit and do the work just as the man requested with no back biting or lip about it. Once he arrived, the man was already a quarter of the way finished, so it wouldn't take long to get the rest done. Picking up a brush, he copied the man's movements perfectly, leaving no room for the man to complain, though he did attempt to quite a few times. It was annoying, but he bit his tongue, so that he wouldn't risk the man refusing to pay him.

His next task would also actually draw on his shinobi skills, rather than interpersonal abilities. He would need to go find a thief who had stolen a very valuable piece of artwork. Supposedly it was a large chunk of gold that had been molded into the shape of an apple. According to the shop owner, the craftsmanship is unparalleled and it is priceless. So, he went to work, asking if anyone around the vicinity of the crime scene had seen anything that matched the description. He got numerous leads, but the most useful pointed him in a definitive direction. So, now headed towards the supposed location of the thief, he decided to forgo the usual banter of trying to make them admit their fault and do the right thing. He walked over and busted in through the wall of the hide out. The thief was there, startled, and on the table behind him was the apple. The perpetrator threw a kunai at Eio, which was met with Eio's own hand. But, instead of getting impaled, the kunai reversed its flow and hit the man in the face with its hilt, knocking him unconscious. Grabbing the artwork, Eio would return it to the shop owner, reminding him to be more vigilant in the future.

After getting his pay for finding the golden fruit, it was time to take on his next task. This would return to the usual monotony that he had been dealing with today in doing chores for the random people around the village. A majority of those he helped in this way were the elderly who were unable to fend for themselves. In time though, he had gained the support and a form of friendship or understanding from the populace who no longer hated him. So, he counted that as a positive to doing such foolish tasks. That understanding and trust of the people would come in handy in the coming weeks when he would be bringing down the Takikage. As he made it to the store and grabbed the groceries, he knew the woman had already paid and gotten them bagged and all that, he just had to bring them to her house. So, off he went, taking the bags to where she lived and then dropping them off on the counter of her kitchen. She had actually made him lunch, to show how much she appreciated all that he had done for her in such a seemingly meaningless task. Afterwards, she handed him his pay and bid him farewell.

His next mission would prove to be interesting to say the least. It would draw on his skills in both stealth and his deductive abilities. According to the report he received for the mission, one of the local gate guards has a habit of falling asleep on the job. The only issue is, that he somehow is always able to wake up before he is caught. Eio would need to catch the lazy bastard in the act, so that they would have grounds to relieve him of his duties. So, off he went to the guard tower that was the designated location for the guy he was supposed to find. When he got there, he immediately went into stealth mode and was keeping his eyes peeled for anything suspicious. Upon approaching the door, which was left cracked, he noticed a thin trip wire in the doorway. This no doubt would activate some discreet trap that would alert the guard to an incoming visitor. With this thought in mind, Eio climbed in through the nearby window, which was not trapped. Looking around, he saw the machinations of the original trap and saw it was set at each door. The lines all led to a bell hung on the still sleeping guards belt. After he relieved him of his duty, Eio would return to the station to get his pay for this job. He was almost done for the day.

His next task was going to be just as simple and easy as the majority of his tasks today. He was tired of the mundane things he was asked to do, but reminded himself to bide his time, as once he took over the village it wouldn't be necessary any more. He would be able to send other ninja to do these things while he handled much more crucial tasks that actually had to do with the defense, preservation and expansion of the village. His long term goal was to have Takigakure be not just A major nation, but THE major nation. He wanted the symbol of Taki to hang in every village just above their own symbol. This would prove to be the biggest attempted conquest in all of recorded history, but he also felt it is what was best. He was tired of always bowing and kowtowing to others demands. it was his turn to be on top. Anyways, he arrived at the location to ask the boy where he had last seen the ball. Saying they had been kicking it around and it vanished didn't sound reasonable to Eio, but upon further investigation, they had simply gotten it lodged into a tree. Once getting paid, he wondered how a kid so young had the kind of money to get a mission like this, but decided not to think on it too much, it was finally time for his final mission of the day.

Returning to the academy for the final time, he would grab a broom and start cleaning the floors. Yes, the mighty heir to the Aijin clan, future ruler of the world was reduced to a simple maintenance helper. Cleaning floors where the faculty didn't enforce cleanliness to its students. It was a clear sign that change was necessary in the academy as well. From updating the curriculum to where it covered more specialties than normal, to covering how to handle yourself and taking care of one's environment. The students of the day weren't fit to be in the academy, much less having a chance at becoming shinobi. They were all the children of civilians who had never had a shinobi in their family, and were trying to abuse the income given to shinobi for their own familial wealth. This was not something that could be allowed to continue, otherwise the shinobi of Taki would be weak and ill prepared for the wars that were to come. His first act as the kage would be to change the curriculum of the academy and make students have to learn more things than simple weapons or taijutsu or basic ninjutsu. He would also open it back up to those in clans. But, before he knew it, he was finished with his task of cleaning and was leaving the building with a full wallet.
