Description: An Academy Student has run away from the school and is hiding somewhere in the village. You are to hunt him down and return him to his class before he manages to cause any trouble or get himself hurt.

Roku hadn't been a ninja for long before it was time to begin taking D-Rank missions. Excitement flooded through his body and all he wanted to was to get to work. He had no idea how much D-Rank missions would bore him later. Regardless of this, Roku's task for now was a to find a boy who had gone missing from school. The name was one Roku recognized, and he knew exactly where to go to find the boy. With little effort, Roku ran to the aforementioned location to find the boy, someone who was not much younger than Roku himself. After speaking some calming words, Roku got the boy to speak to him, and he shared that he ran because one of his classmates were tormenting him with Genjutsu. Hearing this, Roku accompanied the boy back to the training academy and reported the boy who had been tormenting him. Roku spoke to the instructors about it, and they promised that the bully would be dealt with and disciplined appropriately.

Description: A large bear has been terrorizing the local farmers. They have hired you to come in and take care of it. The bear has 40 in all stats and is seemingly fire proof.

The next task was a bit harder. Roku heard of a bear that had been terrorizing local farmers, and many of them were so afraid of this bear that they refused to go out and tend to their crops. This had actually led to a minor food shortage in Kumogakure, and it was something that definitely required dealing with. After getting information on things like where the bear was last seen, Roku set out. He walked through the village until he was at its edge. After checking with the Chuunin who was guarding the gate, Roku was allowed to exit. There weren't a lot of farmlands in The Land of Lightning, and the ones that existed were mostly situated on mountain plateaus, so Roku was fairly familiar with where he was going.

Roku made his way up the mountain, but he did not get far before he ran into exactly the thing he was looking for. Roku laughed. Not so much out of joy or humor, but out of pure and adulterated horror. The bear charged at Roku and he barely had time to dodge. Barely getting out of the way in time, Roku turned, to see the bear charging at him once more. Instinctively, Roku activated Chakra Blitz, and used speed to dodge once more. Switching directly to strength, Roku clubbed the bear in the head and splatted its brains on the ground beneath it. Mission accomplished.

Name: Confiscate the Weapons

Description: A few academy students somehow managed to get their hands on some actual weapons and are not attempting to play ninja with them in the local park. You are to get back all the weapons from them before they are able to hurt themselves.

Roku had to act fast. He had just been informed that some wannabe ninja were playing with actual weapons in the park near the Ninja Academy, and that they did not have proper training in their use. It was entirely possible, and likely, for them to hurt themselves and passers-by. Sprinting, Roku made his way to the park. When he arrived, he saw four young boys practicing throwing kunai at each other and dodging. He yelled loudly enough for them to hear him and to get their attention. "Oi! Gentlemen, I am going to need you to hand me those weapons!" The boys simply looked at Roku before he himself became their target as well. Acting on pure instinct, Roku activated Chakra Blitz, and zipping around, he managed to knock out each of the boys. He collected the contraband and took them back to the Ninja academy, where they woke up and were dealt with by their senseis.

Name: Lead the Tour

Description: A new couple has come to the village and is in need of a grand tour. You are to take them out and show them the sights as well as recommend a good hotel and fine restaurants around town.

Roku had been assigned a young couple to give a tour. He was delighted. He loved Kumogakure as a village. The sights and sounds, the festivities, and the culture. All of it was beautiful. Roku first took the couple to the Raikage Tower. "This is where Lord Raikage lives and does his work. He's always busy forming and passing laws for the village and keeping our defenses ready." Roku moved on to the similarly close Ninja Academy. "This is where, we as Ninja, are all trained before we enter the force. We learn a lot of things her, both academic and practical, and it has changed my life." Roku continued to show the couple around the city until he arrived at a hotel he could recommend. "This is 'The Sky's Retreat.' It is the best place to stay in Kumogakure, and they have an in-house restaurant that is also the best place to eat." Roku smiled, and the couple, deciding they wanted to stay here, bid Roku farewell and paid him.

Description: One of the local training grounds is covered with trash! You need to get in there and clean it up before any visitors see it and think poorly of your village!

Now was time for simple chores. Roku walked to one of the training grounds near the Ninja Academy and saw it to be littered with trash. It was disgusting! There were banana peels, bags of trash, toilet paper, various food items, and all kinds of nastiness around the area. This would not do. Quickly, Roku began to move around, as quickly as he could, gathering up all the trash. It took him the better part of four hours, and in that time the sun had set and it was far past time for dinner. Roku's stomach growled as he looked at the mound of trash bags. He still had more work to do. Two by two, Roku carried each of the bags of trash to the disposal site near him for the next two hours, until finally, the park looked pristine and clean. He did some other tidy work as well, in cleaning the surfaces, replacing the picnic tables, and repainting a lot of the otherwise terrible paint work in the park.

Description: An old man is in need of assistance painting over some images that a few vandals painted on the side of his house. You can help him! He is just repainting it white and with the two of you is should take no time at all.

It was the next morning now, and Roku woke up. He already had his list of tasks for the day, as he'd picked it up with his list from yesterday. Now, Roku was to help a man paint his wall. Roku wondered vaguely if the job of Ninja was to be people's servants all the time before he became more powerful and earned some promotions. He was getting pretty sick of it all. It had only been 24 hours, but somehow, all of his excitement at the prospect of finally having missions as a ninja was gone. Annoyed, Roku climbed out of bed and made his way to the man's home. Roku didn't say much in conversation with the man. He simply picked up a brush, stifled a laugh at the hilariously inappropriate images on the wall he had to paint over, and began his work. Stroke. Stroke. The man who hired him attempted to pick up conversation with Roku many times, but each time, Roku's response was so half-hearted that the man was forced to let it go. Eventually, the wall was finally covered in a clean white, and Roku went about his business.

Name: Find the golden fruit

Description: There was apparently an extremely valuable piece of artwork stolen from the marketplace recently. You need to track it down and return it before the thief is able to resell it to their fence. It appears to be a large golden apple.

Finally, some actual ninja work, other than some stupid chores. Thought Roku, relieved. He gained some pip in his step, and on his way to find out about the mission, he grabbed himself some breakfast. Roku ate steak and potatoes for breakfast, mostly because it was only breakfast for him - it was noon. He'd slept late because of the late work at the park. Roku made his way to the man from whom the art was stolen, and asked some details. He got a vague description of the thief, but Roku also got a rather decent sketch from one of the artist's assistance. The thief was a known criminal. Roku spent some time working the streets for leads, asking anyone and everyone that seemed likely to have some connection to anyone who may have ever broken the law, and he finally made his way to a man who was able to give him some useful information. Roku was able to not only locate the missing artwork, but knock out the man who stole it and arrest him, while still returning the artwork to its rightful owner.

Description: A woman is lying sick in bed, but still needs to do her grocery shopping! She has already placed the order, but she needs you to go across town to pick it up for her! Return it all in one piece or you'll be responsible for replacing it.

Despite finally having some actual ninja work, it was not long before Roku was back to chores. People, apparently, were so lazy that they could not pick up their own groceries. It didn't matter that the woman was sick. Roku was essentially a feudal lord, and he still picked up his own groceries when he was sick. Sighing, Roku made his way to the grocery store, but because of impatience, it did not take long before he was in a dead sprint. If he were going to do this, he may as well get some cardio out of it. He ran in place after he arrived as the shopkeeper gathered the woman's order, and Roku carried the bag in his arms as he leapt over and across buildings, sprinted down streets, and did random acrobatic flips. It was not long before Roku arrived once more at the woman's house, and he gave her her groceries. Of course, she was also too lazy to put her groceries up, so Roku did that for her too. Finally, he was paid, and he left.

Name: Catch the Guardsman

Description: Supposedly, one of the local gate guards has a habit of falling asleep on the job. The only issue is, that he somehow is always able to wake up before he is caught. You need to catch him in the act!

Seriously? Roku had to babysit the gate guards now? Roku sighed, and slowly made his way to the gates of Kumogakure. He lied, making it out like he was an applicant for the job, and was assigned to someone who seemed to be pretty competent. Fortunately, Roku was assigned to an area near where the man he was supposed to be watching was. Roku sat at his station, and hours passed. Long, horrible hours. He played poker, and won almost every time. Of course he did. He had training to recognize people's lies and their intentions, and it was easy for him to win. He took part in other activities as well. He spent a lot of time talking about girls, and listening to a bunch of greasy men give him what was actually terrible advice in attracting women. After a long day, Roku finally saw the man fall asleep. He snapped a picture, and with his proof, looked at his boss and said "I quit." Before he left.
