He's always known that more tattoos would make him look stranger than his amalgamation of features already did. The following notable things about how he typically looks don't help his case either.

He's very tall and has been since he was very young. He's not the tallest, make no mistake, but he's just the right height to frighten children, and piss off short people who hate really tall people. He takes particular amusement in the latter, as he's been at the yelling end from his genin teammates.

Mates, as in plural, as both were very angry short people he remembers rather fondly, all things considered.  He always had spats with them, primarily due to his nature and the fact that their personalities rarely blended. He's learned how to work with others that don't blend with her personality through years of working with his less-lovely teammates and thus carries a solid sense of teamwork, which shines through within the next point.

Usually not even fancy, just big and firey, or some new sort of poison.

He did this for ten years, and boy did he cheat. He often used his connections to get rid of competition. His connections being his old team, who were partial to him now that he had matured and they had actually gotten on proper talking terms within the last 2 years. Previously, they were antagonists to each other's lives, and now they were just sorta eh to each other.

It wasn't a bad existence, and it stayed that way for ten years. He was known for his skills in the art of medicine too, make no mistake. He knew the body far better than he had any right to. He knew the body because he spent a stupid amount of time leaning over books, because he was lanky and tables were painful usually. It was odd. It was alright, though, since his constant complaining wasn't noted by others because he did it when it was alone.

He was 25 at this point, and was still having a fine time that he could just deal with things with either his substantial money, or something else like his words. Those were his main tools. He hardly dealt with business-like combat, as it was just not his cup of tea. Too dangerous, and he didn't particularly like the idea of death. He just liked the concept of life far, far more than the concept of death.

They'd try to hold the children hostage. His children was nowhere, and that was just bothersome. He'd have to find a way out of this, and that simple manner of getting out was through gassing the house through the use of medical ninjutsu. He used paralytic poisons to run, but even then. He was nearly cut down, and that was what would end up showing his actual heritage instead of far earlier.
