Appearance: Aquila is a tall, thin yet muscular young man with pale skin, white hair and gold eyes. Aquila's entire ensemble is comprised of several white, gold, grey, and royal blue colored items. His base lair consists of a royal blue nagajuban, under a white montsuki kimono with matching pleated grey hakama that are mostly covered by the kimono all the way down to the ankle. Said ankles are covered by white ankle high tabi and royal blue suneate which have a gold rope tied just below the knee that extends down the front of the shin and is tied again at the ankle. His tabi covered feet are snug inside platform geta. On top of his hakama are gold and royal blue haidate, secured just under his royal blue datejime and his grey kaku obi. Over top of the montsuki kimono is a white knee length hooded montsuki haori. On the right side of the chest of the haori, directly below the start of the hood, is a bird motif kamon. Hanging from that kamon is a gold aiguillette that wraps around his back, on the left side is a fur ball on top of the kamon. Aquila's accessories include royal blue half scoop gloves missing the index, pointer, and thumb fingers on each hand and have a gold trim. He also wears matching bracelets, a gold rope necklace, and his sword. The tachi is 78cm long with a white tsuka embellished with three gold oval menuki and a gold line down the bladed side. The kashira of the sword is identical to the kojiri of the saya, the only difference being the gold chains with two tear drop pearls placed at the bottom. The sword has a royal blue fuchi that has a small circular menuki on it, the sword's quatrefoil tsuba is also royal blue with a gold lining, the habaki is a simple rectangular gold piece. The koiguchi of the saya is fitted with a plain gold piece.

Personality: Aquila is only seventeen, therefore, he is very curious, adventurous, courageous, and exuberant. He's always sticking his nose in this or that; he constantly tries to turn everything into an adventure pepping everyone up along the way. Doing things that "normal" people would find ridiculous whether for fun or to show off. Of course, his interests lead him to be somewhat inconsistent and sometimes viewed as a deviant; Especially when coupled with his stubbornness. Nevertheless, Aquila is a peaceful young man, he is also honest to a fault, which can be seen as both good and bad. Due to his innovation, he is viewed as amiable he's also a great conversationalist. Aquila is quite responsible and practical for his age, that practicality makes him versatile, this versatility gives him a certain air of confidence that his peers lack especially when others notice his heightened intelligence. While that might make others big headed Aquila is the opposite; He's polite and respectful to all not with standing rank and or age. And while some may call him impulsive the male will tell you he's just passionate even though he's both. Another downfall of his, due to age, is his possessiveness caused by his density. Aquila isn't wholly in tune with his emotions, making him oblivious of his affection for another. Additionally, he has a dark conscience that makes him fearful in combat yet he masks that persona with jokes and taunting.
Character History: The Karura clan having once worshiped birds are a very traditional family similar to the Hyuuga clan. Having seen many of his clansmen getting in trouble an even kicked out of the village for not being able to control their instincts Aquila feared that because his hair was white that he too would be unable to control himself. Being a young child at the time he couldn't begin to imagine what life would be like without his family. The lone wolf path was definitely not for him; So he studied hard and followed the rules to a tee. Though he soon grew tired of this mundane lifestyle, he wanted to run free like the rest of the kids. And that's what he did, laying down his stiff old habits Aquila became a "normal" boy. Although most kids were happy to have another addition to their list of friends there were some that were wary of him. They thought that because he had lived such a sheltered life until now meant that there was something wrong with him. They would tease and bully him every chance they got, saying things like he truly is a bird brain.

Being the sweet kid that he was Aquila tried to befriend the bullies to show them that he was no different than they were. Those evil children took advantage of his naivety and made him do bad things, usually under the guise of a game. This lead some adults to believe that he was just as rotten as the rest of them. It wasn't until one day when Aquila saw his "friends" plucking the feathers from the mane of one of the other kids in the clan that he stopped hanging out with them. Being the gentle spirit that he is Aquila would stray away from any confrontation or try to resolve it. But seeing this act caused his biggest fear to resurface, he began to imagine what would happen if his hair changed to feathers. He didn't want to be laughed at and pointed at like some animal at a zoo, especially not by people he thought were his friends. Through all his inner turmoil the cry of the other child rang out, echoing in his mind he knew he couldn't just sit by and let this continue. The logical thing to do was to find an adult but there was no time for that, the kid was outnumbered and Aquila was the only one who could help.

He reached down, not as deep as he thought it would be, and pulled out something dark. Aquila grabbed the first thing he saw, walking over to his "friends" with his normal casual smile. When the kids saw who was approaching their guard was down, they figured that Aquila wanted a turn torturing the kid. But that smile quickly turned somewhat psychotic just before he attacked the bullies. Utilizing his ninja training Aquila fought and quelled them with minor blood spilled, hearing more screams than normal adults began to flock. They were shocked to see that this innocent boy had suddenly snapped and beat up all of these children and on his own at that. No one knew what to do so one man grabbed the boy and left. The man was going to fight the White Garuda and needed someone to take his body back should he die. The man did die and he body was returned to the village but after seeing all of those people look at him in fear Aquila no longer felt comfortable staying there.

Thus his life as a village-less ninja began.
