Skeleton In Your Closet [P]

Eio sat up in his office. He had fallen asleep on the couch there as he was recovering some from his battle with Fuu. The man was something else indeed, and he got lucky to have beaten him at all, but he would just need to be more careful when attacking his next quarries. But, he decided it would be for the best to practice with what he gained from Fuu before going to take on his next target. Sitting up, he supposed now would be the best time to head to his private training ground. He actually made this himself using his earth release and expertise in sealing to create a room that no matter how powerful the justu he used, would keep all chakra and damage confined to the room alone, meaning he didn't have to hold back at all when using this jutsu. But, today he didn't really intend to cause massive amounts of damage to the surrounding area, instead he would be focusing more inwardly. Holding his hand out in front of him, he felt around for his chakra which was moving through the wires that filled his body. He then felt for his bones. Specifically, the one in his forearm.

Feeling the bone was the easy part. He next had to figure out how to make this new kekkei genkai work. Supposedly, he would be able to control bones and such, but his trouble now was figuring out how to do it. Focusing within himself, he would try to pull a bone out using nothing but his mind, but it seemed that such things were not possible for him yet. He decided another theory to test was to simply reach in and pull a bone out and see what happened. Pulling out a kunai, he would create an incision on his forearm, reaching in, he would pull the bone out. The cut would stitch itself back up, but the interesting part is that the bone had instantly reformed and the skin had repaired itself. It would seem that he indeed had a powerful tool, if his bones could repair themselves immediately and indefinitely simply by pulling damaged ones out. Looking over the bone now in his hand, he noticed that it was much more dense than other bones he had seen or felt in the past, which meant that his skeletal structure was changing as well due to this kekkei genkai.

He was interrupted momentarily by an unusual pain, causing him to cough for a moment. It seemed that his body was still getting used to working alongside his new organ, but he lacked most of the blood or fluids it was trying to cough out. The kinjutsu had no doubt changed him from an ordinary human. In fact, he seemed to have aged at least five years just by taking on the process. He wondered why the last kage didn't at least try it, but figured the man was too stubborn to turn himself into a monster. But, that's what Eio was now, a living rag doll, able to stitch himself up and now able to control his blood and his bones. The fact he was still working on controlling his bones was irrelevant as he was more thinking about his potential to use them more than he was his actual ability to do so. He wondered briefly if anyone else in the world had ever achieved Earth Grudge Fear. There was some reference to someone stealing the scroll that contained it a century ago, but it had been returned not long afterwards.

This led Eio to believe that someone had merely stolen it, copied the contents and then returned it to avoid being tracked down. It was a good plan all things considered, but Eio was beyond caring about such a thing now. Should someone with this present themselves to him in the future, he would judge what to do about them then and there, but wouldn't actively seek to hunt them down. He also had to make sure he was ready to take on someone who could have the same ability as he but more experience using it. Such a thing could be very dangerous to him. It would be a real shame for him to lose his life before he ever got going in his quest. Though, looking at world domination, it didn't seem like something to go after anymore. Really, what he wanted more than anything was to live. Yes, deep down, all he wanted was to be able to see what the future of this world looked like. There were many people and groups at work now, trying to change the world as it was. But, he wondered which group would come out on top, and more so than that, he wondered how the world would change afterwards.

Surely the groups all had plans, but plans didn't always work out as one hoped. The future isn't something set in stone, in fact, it is constantly changing and being shifted all based around the interactions of people and things. How one may change something one day is enough to potentially have drastic effects on the next seconds, days, months or even years. If Eio took over the world, it would only lead to more work on his part, not only that, but it would be too big of an empire to control. He just needed to find his place as the Takikage and build up his own village into what it should be. Sure, maybe he could take over a bordering minor village, but doing too much would mess with the balance of things as they were and doing that could cause many more problems than he cared to deal with. He just needed to focus on the here and now, bring himself into the moment where he would be able to really get some training done as opposed to slacking off and merely debating philosophy in his own mind.

Forcing his mind back into the task at hand, he would look down at his arm and bring forth a bone spike from just above his wrist. Right, so now he just needed to figure out how he did that, and how to undo it. Looking at the protrusion, he felt no real pain from it sticking out, but it did feel odd for sure, in comparison to even when he used his threads out of his body. Looking back to his other hand, he would send a focused burst of chakra to it and another bone spike would come out of it the same as the other. He would then use his lacerating hands technique, turning his hands into ranged whips that now had two spiked bones sticking from them. It proved to be a rather powerful combination, as he created several slowly healing gashes in the floor. This new development was something else entirely and he was pleased with the way that it was turning out. Looking around, he noticed the bones attached to his wrists had chakra pulsing in them, so he tried drawing that chakra back into himself. When he did, the bones followed it and returned to their normal positions.

So, it would seem that he merely needed to move his chakra about and focus on his bones following said chakra to control them. He would work on a few of the jutsu he knew of related to this kekkei genkai next, including and starting with the ones he witnessed first hand. Focusing at various points around his body, he would send chakra out which were connected to the bones that he had created. Various spikes would protrude from his body and he would proceed to twirl in a dance, similar to how he heard members of this clan practiced their unique form of taijutsu, in a series of dances. It was interesting, to say the least, but he knew it was nothing that special as many dances are based on forms of taijutsu and vice-versa.So a style that resembled a dance or other types of choreography wouldn't be all that uncommon in the world today. He would cause the bones to recede, it was time to try something on another level, time to see how he could use his two new abilities in conjunction with one another. Slamming his hands on the ground, he would start his technique.

Bones would shoot from his palms and into the ground, seemingly going on forever. But, as many of these techniques were named for plants, this one was named after the seedling fern. The bones he just sent into the ground were merely the seeds and were currently branching about covering the entirety of the underground of the training room. When he stood back up, these bones erupted forming a super dense forest of bones. Oh, but Eio wasn't done here, he would merge with the closest bone and would then be able to move about within the bones indiscriminately. While inside, he activated his blood release jutsu, spreading sticky spiderwebs of blood from one bone trunk to another until should one attempt to traverse this bone forest, they would likely get caught up in the sticky blood, which would be both an annoyance to most and demoralizing to many. As not many relish in the thought of being caught in a web made of blood. Especially when he had learned he could turn this blood into acid. That would prove to be an invaluable tool in the coming future, when more often than not, he would need to kill people faster and faster, not giving them time to react.

Now, he would focus on utilizing this in combat. Forming a hand seal, he would remove his entire skeleton. This skeleton would then grow musculature and skin to show themselves looking as an exact replica of Eio himself. He had to take a moment to recognize how much he had changed physically and mentally since taking on the mantle of kage. But, he brushed it off quickly as his clone lashed out at him with dual bone spikes that it was wielding like swords. Deciding to test another similar jutsu, he would form two swords out of blood. This would be a useful technique in the future as he would never need to buy various weapons and seal them away, as he was able to simply create what he wanted or needed at a moments notice. He was also able to repair any damage done to these blades which was far more useful than anything else. He engaged the clone in bladed combat for what seemed like forever until he was finally able to break one of its bone swords. He had needed to repair his blades numerous times during the course of this, which proved that the bones were far more durable than normal jutsu.

He was beginning to grow tired after the third hour of working on these techniques. He felt he had gotten them down good enough by now that he could handle his next target. A young girl who had gotten in far over her head. The civilians had been demanding her execution ever since he took office, claiming the last kage merely let her roam free in the lands even after the lackluster punishment of 'banishment'. Eio decided he would in fact be killing the girl and taking her heart for his own. He could find use in her ability to control her own density. But, he was getting slightly ahead of himself. At the very least, taking her out would only leave two more imminent threats to his village that had useful hearts. The only other thing he could be after was a certain doujutsu, but he would worry about attaining that at a later date. Now was the time to rest, regroup and get ready for his next battle against the C-rank Missing ninja Chiyeko Hitsugaya. She had fled the land of iron and the old Takikage had foolishly granted her sanctuary. Eio would rectify that mistake. She would be his next target.
