Ghost Hunt [P]

Eio left his tower with a mission in mind. There was a certain missing ninja that needed to be hunted down before she could cause any more death or destruction in the Land of Waterfalls. She had been killing people indiscriminately for the past couple of years since she was allowed to enter the Land and was then banished. His spies had reported that she was seen heading towards a secluded clan complex in the forests that was for a civilian clan that was actually too large to fit in the village. But, from what he understood, they prefferred the seclusion anyways. So, that would be his first stop. Making his way through the forest was the easy part, but once he made it to the compound, he found the carnage that proved he had gotten there too late. Mangled bodies littered the roads and houses, all seemingly drained of their blood. He heard crying coming from a nearby house, but it was quickly silenced. This is where his target was hiding. He would immediately activate his plasma armor. He wouldn't be giving her a chance to get the drop on him.

The blood of her victim dribbled down her chin. It was fantastic. The ecstasy of cleansing the world of people like this woman, people with tainted blood... of doing something better for the world. This must be what superheroes felt like. She smiled crookedly, small droplets of blood leaking out of the corners of her twisted smile as the woman's crying finally stopped. Good. One more stain washed clean. But then she felt it. The inconceivable power near her. Whatever it was, it was bad. The sheer amount of chakra warped the air around her, making her wonder if the center was some sort of black hole, or void. It was a stain to cleanse the world of later, when she became stronger. For now... she opened a window on the opposite side of the building to where she felt that power, as silently as she could, and climbed out. She sprinted in the opposite direction of the building, winding in and out of the complex, using the idea that if her future victim was not from the complex, she knew it better than he.

Activating his blood sensing, he could feel her, running from him. The speed with which her blood was pumping made it clear that she was in motion, but it wasnt enough. Slamming his hands on the ground as he made chase, the earth in the area ahead of him for 200 meters exploded upwards as countless bone spikes emerged, forming a veritable forest of bones. He would then sink into the bone nearest himself, able to travel swiftly through the bones towards his target. Then sending his crimson spiderweb forest througout the bones. Red tendrils erupted from each bone in numerous places connecting all of them into a massive trap forest. He would then turn his blood concentration into an acid, if she was trapped, she was doomed.

Her heart pounded in her ears as she squeezed out more speed than she thought she was physically capable of. A grin began to spread along her face as she thought she had managed to escape - but that grin quickly vanished as a forest of bones erupted around the girl, and she was suddenly hopelessly trapped. The acid dripped onto her skin at first and she shrieked. It was a terrible, horrifyingly blood curdling scream that could likely be heard for miles. It was as if a banshee had come to her rescue, only to die in searing pain as well. There was nothing that should be done. She died a torturous death as parts of her body slowly melted away, until she lost consciousness. The pain left her unconscious at first, but then it got to a point that she could no longer be alive. Somehow, the screaming seemed to last even past her unworldly death. Soon, even her heart would be consumed by the acid, if it was not stopped.

Feeling his work was done as the screaming subsided, Eio would appear from a bone next to her, his aura subsiding and his black threads already stabbing into her lifeless remains, retrieving his prize. As the heart was integrated into his body, he could feel the surge of chakra coming along with it. He only had two more targets left on his list, then he would consider the Land of Rainforests free from its numerous self-created threats. The two left on his list would most definitely prove to be more difficult to defeat, but once he got more training done with his two new elements he was confident he could defeat them. He would release the rest of his jutsu, the bones dissipating and blood evaporating. Travelling back to his village, he would immediately retreat to his hidden training ground to begin working on his newly acquired abilities.
