Often Yakumi finds herself regretting not paying attention back in the academy, but at the time she sure didn't; the classes were boring and most of the stuff they said was repetitive to the point where the smartest kids were able to name every flavor of water and then some. So in retrospect, she's really glad she didn't care much for school.
But every now and then they did drop some important knowledge, hidden between all the useless information. So, with that being said, Yakumi was missing out on a good chunk of useful information but yet somehow graduated. To refresh her memory, she decided to dedicate today to a short refresher course. First on the list was the simplest of moves, something that even someone like her could recall.
"The clone technique, one of the most basic moves, takes more effort to screw up." Yakumi was perched atop her home, sitting on her tiled ceiling. Her mother had left her a note on a few key jutsu that she had asked her about. She recited what was written on the paper, or at least what was legible since her mother had the worst handwriting imaginable. "'Assuming you're not a complete moron,' Wow, thanks mom. 'The hand seals would be Ram, Snake, and Tiger in that order.' Alright, I think I can do this." Yakumi stood on the ridge going down the middle of her home, her feet firmly placed together, the wind blowing through her hair as her hands moved on their own. It felt natural.
Ram. Snake. Tiger.
And what appeared next to her was... herself. Well, a nearly perfect clone of herself, which then disappeared into smoke mere moments later.
