Senjiro was on a mission of discovery wanting to learn as much as possible. That means he needed to do a lot of hard work and grafting too. There was no way he was about to get stronger without hard work. No matter how talented one might be they still needed to put in the effort. Here he was now wanting to discover something new. This was in the form of finding out what other elemental affinities he might yet possess. Senjiro was luckily in discovering his ability to utilise steel release. But the use of a basic element seem to elude him at times. Was he not paying enough attention to such things? It was a disgrace to think that a resident of Kirigakure did not possess the water element. A truly shameful thing and today was his chance to prove that he was absolutely focused on accomplishing this task. Training can be fun, especially if it wasn't done on your lonesome. But who could Senjiro invite to him and motivate him to train? He was his own motivation and so it was pointless expecting much from others. The Shinobi knew what needed to do and he will need to do whatever it takes to accomplish his mission. There was no monetary gain but there was always strength and the prospect of a new skill set suddenly becoming available. That alone should be motivation enough for the man to say the least.

Senjiro was in a quiet area near to a lake. A place that was absolutely perfect for what he was attempting to accomplish. The sun was partially hidden behind the clouds high above the village. But there was enough light to cause illumination and so sight was not an issue at all. The young nara knew what needed to be done too. With the elemental testing paper in hand, Senjiro followed the basic instructions that was given to him. He simply needed to apply chakra and see the outcome. There are a few signs that pointed towards a Shinobi's elemental affinity. If the paper was set on fire, then it meant the Shinobi was primarily a fire release user. Should the paper split in half of something similar, then the Shinobi was most likely a wind user. Add to this, if the paper crumpled during the test, then the Nin was a lightning release user. If it were to turn to dust then the user was primarily a earth release user. And last but not least should the paper turn wet then that person was primarily a water release user. Senjiro applied his chakra to the paper and it turned wet which suggested his chakra type. The boy smiled out of relief, knowing that he may well be able to learn the basic Kirigakure techniques. He was currently one the right track, and all he needed to do now was practice. This was only the beginning and once he learns how to use the water element. Then in the future the paper should react differently. That is assuming he will be worthy enough to even have a third element. Learning his second element which was in fact his first primary element was a big deal. He was sincerely looking forward to learning more about this.

Senjiro was stood by the waters looking at the lake while contemplating his next move. The youngster soon began stringing together numerous hand seals. And in addition to this Senjiro also found himself gathering and focusing his Chakra. This was a requirement to be able to accomplish anything. When using Chakra you always needed just the right amount. Too little and the jutsu fails or his weaker than expected. If you put too much, then the jutsu could end up back firing on the person using the jutsu. Such a thing could have a detrimental effect on other things. Senjiro knew what he needed to do, and he understood all too well his affinity that he has for the water element. He also possesses steel release as an advance element. How he developed it was somewhat of a blur. He simply noticed the change in his chakra and studied its composition. Before long he was able to mould it into something completely different to the five basic natures. In any case, the young nara formulated several hand seals. All that were related to the water element. And by applying Chakra he soon saw the effects of his attempting. The water soon began reacting to his whims, as he caused portions of the water to rise up and move above. He was able to move it gently, and at time move it with urgency and even with power behind it. Senjiro now understood the principles behind the element and it wouldn't be long before he figured out how. All he need to do was practice using some jutsus with it.
