ARRIVAL [Kyo, P]

Roku had taken Bet from Kyo’s arms, rushing through the village as fast as his body could carry him. He was certain Kyo would be able to follow, as fast as he had shown himself to be. He had to get the Genin to the Raikage as fast as possible and do a quick debrief before he lost consciousness. Bursting into the Raikages chamber, the man didn’t flinch, obviously having sensed him coming. He laid bet on a nearby table and bowed swiftly to his leader. “Long time no see Raikage-sama. I have returned from my training. A lot has happened but I don’t have much time before I pass out. This is Bet, he needs your help. He has a curse mark that needs to be looked at. And soon a Hyūga will come behind me, he can be trusted. He will fill you in.” With that he collapsed. The suddenness of this caused Lucifer to stand. He snapped his fingers and two ANBU carried Roku away, he would be sure to get the full report once the boy was taken care of. Next he went and began to look over the body of Bet. It was clear that he had sustained injuries beyond just a lack of chakra and the curse mark throbbing on his neck.

Kyo kept in pace with Roku as they made their way to the inner portion of Kumogakure. Sooner than even he thought, they arrived at the Raikage tower. Kyo would observe the layout of the village at more detail later. Right now, his friends were in need of help. Roku dashed up the stairs towards the Kage's office and Kyo took another route at the outaide walls of the building; his intended entrance point was the window of the office. When Kyo popped in, he saw Roku on the floor; collapsed no doubt from exhaustion. The Raikage stood from his chair and summoned two ANBU officers which took Roku away. Bet was out cold still as Kyo jumped into the office and faced the Raikage respectfully.

"Raikage sama. My name is Hyuga Kyo of the hidden leaf. We have things that need to be discussed. As soon as possible." Said Kyo in an anxious but even tone of voice. "This boy," began Kyo referring to Bet. "He's my student Raikage, please do what you can for him first. Then I have things that needs your attention. Hell, the whole world."

Depending on the Raikage's reaction, then Kyo would react accordingly. Kyo had heard of the man and his prowess in battle. Kyo and the team still had on their Koten apparel. Kyo's mask was strapped to the side of his face; his robes flowing. Kyo's proper upbringing and his stature truly gave off an air of authority and confidence.

Lucifer nodded to the man who approached him. It was clear the boy needed immediate aid and to their luck, there was none more qualified than he to administer said aid. The curse was slowly spreading through the boys body, it would take time to extract and destroy, but it wouldn’t be too difficult a procedure. His hand growing a needle like structure on his palm, it would be inserted into the center of the mark on the child’s neck as the marks would slightly recede. Looking back to Kyo, “Speak. What the Hell happened and what do you mean the whole world?” There was so much he needed to know and if it was as important as they said it was, he would need to prepare the country to react accordingly.

Pushing his unique chakra through the tube he inserted directly into the boys body, he began to slowly pump in bits of his DNA that instantly attached themselves to him and started to assimilate to his own genetic structure. It would take time but it was possible to save the boy.

Kyo had a concerned expression on his face as the needle like structure entered into Bet's body. But this was the Raikage and there was no reason for him to slay Bet and so he placed his trust into him. Roku also vouched for him as well and so Kyo went along with it.

"The entire world is being targeted by the organization known as Black Sun. They are responsible for the assassination of Hokage Uchiha Kosuke, the previous Raikage and the Samurai's Shogun." Said Kyo as he remained silent a bit and allowed that to sink in a bit and allow the Raikage to think about it.

"We got Intel that one of Black Sun's members was in your country. Roku, the boy before you and myself encountered this man and killed him. We believe that he came to kidnap your ninja and convert them into minions of his own." Continued Kyo.

He decided he would not tell the Raikage about Roku having the man's body in his possession. He knew nothing of the Raikage and how he viewed such matters. So in case he viewed it as taboo, it will be Roku and his business.

Lucifer continued to work on the child. His own chakra and DNA being redesigned and synchronizing with that of the one he was working on. While this was happening, his chakra was destroying the chakra holding the cursed seal together. But he was also paying close attention to what was being said by the one who claimed to be the sensei of this child. It was obvious that their injuries had resulted from the battle with Black Sun. He of course was somewhat familiar with the organization, though his own ANBU hadn’t found as much as he would like.

“He will find that Kumogakure Shinobi are hardier than most. I suppose you are asking for support from us in the coming conflict?”

It was obvious and given all he knew so far, it would be in their best interest. But he would see what was said.

"Yes, that's pretty much why I'm here and for Bet. If you refuse though, when the time comes, and it will come, when Black Sun is at your door, and as hardy as your troops may be, Koten would not be able to render assistance to Kumo. I would rather have Kumo on my side than not." Said Kyo more casually than he meant to as he kept his gaze on the Raikage.

It was true though. Black Sun was a legitimate threat to the world. Roku and Kyo fought one of their top tier men and did not win unscathed.

"Let me remind you these are the men that killed the previous Raikage and my sensei and Hokage Uchiha Kosuke. They are not to taken lightly."

If Kyo would have to force this Raikage's hand into an alliance in the future then so be it. The fate of the world was more important than whatever prideful reason he may have to not join this alliance against Black Sun. It was about time Kyo pushed forward his sensei's dream of world peace and remove anyone who stands in Koten's way.

Lucifer nodded solemnly, “There is no doubt of their power if they were able to kill the Old God. I saw the man once, when he came to the village to speak with the past raikage. He exuded an aura of pure, unbridled power I never thought could exist in this world. And from the stories of the war, he would not be one to go down easily, even as an aged man. So, you will have Kumo’s support.” It was simple to throw support to someone who would provide assistance for free, merely because they had a common enemy. Looking down at the black haired boy, he could see that he seemed to either be in pain, or was having an internal struggle.

Bet was battling himself again. Only this version of himself was a dark grey color with blue hair and wings. They fought but Bet was having the upper hand, as it seemed this version of him wasn’t able to access his kekkei genkai. But it was a tough fight nonetheless, as it seemed his power up was able to match Pure Ascended. He was unable to access his ascended sage form though, but he kept trying. He could use that to end the fight instantly. But he was unable to do so.

Back in the real world, Lucifer was almost done, his visage seeming to get younger and younger the longer this procedure took. It was because of the DNA and chakra he was giving up to destroy the cursed seal. But it would be worth it, if it got them allies in this seemingly endless war that was on their doorstep.

Kyo felt genuinely happy at the Raikage's words. He too like his master truly wished for peace. It was moments like these that Kyo realised his sensei was not all sunshine and rainbows. No, there were times he knew for sure now the old man had done things in his life that he was not proud of. The Raikage did not pick up the tone of voice and had mistaken it for one of kind gesture. It's a good thing too as the Raikage was persuaded into joining this alliance.

Curious, the Raikage's appearance was changing to him being a lot younger. It was strange to look at a pointy eared little boy Kage. He noticed, Bet's eyes moving as he lay unconscious, a trait that was shown while one was dreaming. Oh right, Kyo had one more thing to say to the Raikage.

"Thanks for the help Raikage sama." Said Kyo with a smile, "but I gotta say, you know what could happen if you don't hold up your end of the bargain?"

Kyo was now looking directly at the Kage to figure out the slightest reaction of anger or disapproval from him.

The now younger Raikage looked back into the eyes of the Hyuuga before him. Unflinching, unmoving. "I am a man of my word. I will not betray you. But, should you betray us, I am sure the consequences will be the same." He would not blame the man for being untrusting initially, they were shinobi after all. But, he wouldn't be fast to trust either. Looking down at the boy, it wouldn't be long now before the chakra and DNA were sufficient enough to destroy the curse completely, though he was unsure what other effects they would have on him. Only time would tell.

Bet was having the upper hand in his fight, with his hair slowly fading to white and his aura doing the same. His opponent, himself, was nearly beaten as the world around him cracked and fell apart. It wouldn't be long before he was cured and was up and fighting again.

Kyo cocked an eye brow as he continued looking at the younger version of the Raikage. He was unaware of the nature of this jutsu. More importantly, it seemed as if Bet was on his way to recovery from what sloth did to him. He was unclear as to what will happen to Roku.

"What about Enzoka Roku? What will happen to him?"

It may seem harsh but Kyo wanted to get back to work with Bet. If Roku was going to be incapacitated for a long time, then they would have to move on and maybe he will join up with them later.

Lucifer listened as the Hyūga spoke again, concerning the Kumo genin he had with him when he arrived. Roku. “He is currently in surgery. His body was rejecting his organs and chakra network. Luckily for him, we just entered into an alliance with Takigakure and the Takikage is the one treating him. He is a specialist of this particular branch of medical jutsu and may be one of the only people in the world that can be of help to him. On that subject, he left this for you. Said it was a bargaining chip for the Takikage and a way to repay the man for his help.” Lucifer would produce a small scroll and hand it to Kyo. Unbeknownst to both of them, this held a singular byakugan that Roku took from the now dead Black Sun member.

Bet had just delivered the finishing blow, now in a perfect version of his Ascended Instinct form. The world around him broke apart and his mind returned to his body in the real world. Sitting up swiftly and getting grips on his surroundings, he recognized his sensei and then a blue haired boy no older than he. Looking to his sensei, “Sensei, what happened? Where are we?” It would seem he couldn’t remember anything since the fight with black sun.

"Well would you look at that? Good old Roku did not forget me. He is a lot more tougher than he looks Raikage sama." Smiled Kyo as he took the scroll from the Raikage and placed in within the confines of his leather jacket. It was something he knew for sure would come in handy in the future. Kyo simply nodded as the Raikage spoke about the Takikage helping Roku. He did not know the man or even knew what he looked like but knew at some point he was going to have to meet him. Because just like the Raikage, he had things he had to discus with him as well.

"Raikage sama, would you tell the Takikage that at when it suits him that I will like to see him about the same thing you and I spoke about?"

Just then, Bet awoke and Kyo greeted him with a genuine smile. As usual it seemed Bet was once again dull of life. It stunned Kyo to see his student injured, hurt and unconscious. Now that he was OK, Kyo could focus fully.

"Its alright Bet." Began Kyo in a soothing voice. "We are in Kumogakure no sato. Roku is in surgery and the Raikage here if it weren't for him you'd be dead."

Lucifer nodded to the two in his office before returning to sit at his desk, with his smaller stature, he was much less imposing than he had been when they first arrived, but his aura was no less intimidating. He looked as though he was about to say something when the door opened an an ANBU with a blank mask save a single lightning bolt entered and knelt before the desk. Whether or not he noticed the change in his leader was unknown to all due to the mask, but from the tone of voice he used, it was clear that he had both fear and deep respect for the man, or boy, behind the desk. "Enzoka-san has just finished his surgery and should make a full recovery. I will bring the fill report within the hour. The Takikage has already left the village and says he will be sending a messenger hawk within the week. Enzoka-san should be ready for debriefing within a day." Lucifer nodded and waved the man off, who vanished in a poof of smoke. Turning back to his guests, he would sigh, "I suppose its time for you both to be headed to Taki then, or I could get you a room in one of our nicer hotels if you want to wait a while before heading out. The choice is yours, but I do need to be getting back to my duties. Keep me updated on your progress, Koten." This was the last he said before he went back to reading and filling out paperwork.

Bet for his part, upon being caught up to speed hadn't said anything. He looked in awe at the Raikage, a position that his father had held before this man, and a position, in his own village he hoped to hold one day in the future. He just needed to keep getting stronger. Turning to his sensei, he would ask the question that burned in his mind. "Shades-sensei, why are we going to Takigakure? Its a neutral country, right?" It paid off having a father with such high prestige in the political runnings of the world. The man often voiced his opinions on the diplomatics of the nations and how he would handle things if he hadn't retired after the war. But, things had changed and the man had retired for a much more peaceful life, though he could most likely even give Kyo a run for his money without entering his final transformation.

It was peculiar to see the drastic change in stature in the Raikage and Kyo had to tear his eyes away from him to not to appear rude. Suddenly and ANBU officer appeared and spoke with the Raikage and brought news about Roku's recovery and the departure of the Takikage. So it was true; Black Sun has invaded Taki and taken over it's lands. The Takikage understandably fled when Black Sun invaded his lands or perhaps he was not in the country. With this knowledge, Kyo knew how to approach the Takikage with this whole Black Sun issue. As for Roku, Kyo thought it may be best that they await his full recovery tomorrow to listen to his debriefing to ensure nothing would be left out. After so long on the road, Kyo decided he would take the Raikage's offer to stay at a five star hotel where everyone will have their own room etc. It's only until Roku recovers after all. Kyo bowed out of respect for the Raikage as he led Bet out of the office and into the large corridor of the kage tower. He listened to Bet's question and wondered a bit on it.

"It is a neutral country but Black Sun has not seen the need to attack them, at least not yet. Since the Takikage is alive and well, they would be intrumental in this war. With yet another village joining Koten, we will get fighters for covert missions to undermine Black Sun, even though as of right now, we do not have the numbers nor the man power for a direct assault upon Black Sun. When we meet with the Takikage, all this will be discussed. I have never met him before so I don't know what kind of person he's like." Said Kyo as he paused a bit to take out a cigarette and started smoking. "The reality is, Black Sun has yet to make another move. So let's use this time to rest up and train and plan."

Bet nodded as he listened to his sensei speak. It would be instrumental in their plans to get as many countries to back them as they could. This however was not really at Bet's pay grade so to speak. That sort of stuff was for his Sensei and Roku to figure out, his only job was to punch who they told him to and train. And train he would. Taking a moment to rest himself, he would enter into his first form, second, third and after just a moment, his aura became calm and like a white flame. His hair returned to normal, but was white and his eyes had become a white color. He could feel the strength and heightened senses that came along with his Ascended instinct form, but he also felt how he could hold this form indefinitely now, or at least until he ran out of chakra. This was amazing, he would look to his sensei, "I'll race you to the hotel!" and with that he simply vanished. Even his sensei may have trouble catching sight of him as he immediately took off at a speed of 200. He had no doubt his sensei could keep up with him if he wanted to, but he knew his sensei never would have seen this coming. His new aura was much more potent than all of his other forms combined and his chakra levels had skyrocketed. Should he be viewed in a way that one could see chakra, he would appear to be a sun or even an ocean of chakra compared to anyone else, even those with high chakra levels.

As if on instinct, Kyo's Byakugan flared and observed this new and improved Bet with admiration. This form he had never seen on Bet before. His Byakugan detected the raw power coming from his chiseled yet small frame. Kyo's eyes widened a bit before he regained his composure as to the massive eruption of chakra that emanated from Bet's body. This boy would become a force to be reckoned with in this upcoming struggle. All Kyo had to do was train with him and teach him how to use his head which will be happening soon. He had to teach the boy how to use his head in battle and teach him further how to use his fists. They were shining examples of Kosuke's legacy and if the old man was here, Kyo was sure he would be proud of them both.

As Bet invited him to a race, Kyo's eyes changed from the normal pearl like eyes of the Byakugan, to a light blue floral pattern within his eyes and also disappeared. Bet was alongside him for a good few seconds until Kyo had to give it his all at max speed to appear before the hotel entrance a fraction of a second sooner than Bet.

"I win." Said Kyo as his cloak was extinguished. "After you rest up, we have to have a training session. So what happened in the battle with Sloth doesn't happen again. I want to be able to put my life on the line if need be in battle."

Kyo was serious. He wanted to trust Bet as a soldier. And less and less as a student. He was not getting younger and it was time he got serious about his mental prowess.

Bet hmphed as his sensei still beat him to the building, but he smiled internally, as he was able to keep up with him much better than he used to be able to. Now all he had to do was keep on training his body and his mind to keep up with his vast increase in potential. As they entered the hotel, he remained in his new form, but worked on drawing in the massive amounts of chakra that he was putting out. After great struggle and a few minutes, he was able to draw it all into himself, but he felt like he was going to explode, so he started letting it leak out little by little. He would have to keep training to keep this ability under control, but he could feel that something had changed since he trained with the monks. He didn't need time to enter the form and he couldn't feel it wearing off. Whatever the Raikage did must have had some effect on him. Looking to his sensei, he would ask, "What happened against sloth after I was knocked unconscious, Shades-Sensei?" He, due to his own stupid actions, had been unconscious for the entire fight and hadn't been able to see either of his sensei in action. That bugged him profusely.

Kyo continued to observe Bet as he tried his best to control his power. His network was different than the normal ninja. Bet did not use chakra but an energy source known as Ki. And because of this, it exponentially increases ones fighting prowess. It was tricky to deal with but Kyo had been around Bet long enough to know of his clan's capabilities as Bet knew about his in his young mind. From Kyo's perspective, Bet was an ocean of this Ki energy. It some ways it was better than chakra for taijutsu. As formidable as Kyo was in taijutsu, he would have to be cautious if he had to face Bet in Taijutsu.

"Well to put it pretty simple. After you got knocked out, Roku and I more or less tag teamed the sucker. I impaled his ass and Roku finished him off with a kunai to the head. Was pretty hilarious. But.." Replied Kyo as he paused a second as he remembered Roku getting struck by that strange jutsu from Sloth. "Not before he got struck by a gentle fist strike that messed up Roku pretty bad. I was protected by my tenseigan chakra cloak but Roku wasn't so lucky. During the battle, we made sure Sloth didn't try to kill you as well."

It was true, the battle was short but very intense.

Bet frowned. He hated being a burden like he had been in that fight. Sighing, he would release his transformation, his hair fading to black and falling back into its normal style, he would begin to walk back up to his room. "I will see you in the morning Sensei. From here on out, we will be training harder than ever!" He still had his same attitude, but he had definitely changed some since that fight. He was much less hyperactive and ready to simply rush in. Obviously, Kyo's teachings were having their desired effects. When he got into his room, the moment he laid down he collapsed and fell straight asleep. It would seem that whatever the Raikage did to help him, hadn't yet run its full course and he would just need to sleep it off. His mind dreamed of the training that he would be doing in the near future and he slept with a smile on his face.

Roku may have to wait since as of right now, speaking to the Takikage was more important. He wondered if Kosuke did this in the old days and visited the world leaders to unify them under one banner against the Black Sun hoards. Tomorrow would be another productive day hopefully. He was not sure exactly what Black Sun was truly capable of. He had a funny feeling that the world had yet to see what their underlying power was. No matter, the more members joined Koten the better. Time for sleep.
