Mission 1 [p] Empty
PostSubject: Mission 1 [p]   Mission 1 [p] EmptyThu Jun 21, 2018 10:08 pm

Spoiler:

Bounding out from her small house, Usagi walked on over to the kage tower, a large and imposing building which housed all of the terrible paper work that the leader of the village was required to fill out for... some reason which she did not care of. She wasn't a builder nor a paper pusher, but, at least for today, she would endeavor to be a finder of lost children.

An academy student had gone missing and it had fallen to her to track him down, a mission which she would not commonly take and yet one which she had opted in to so as to avoid long travels for the current time being, what with the increased training regiment she had created for herself. And so it was that she searched high and low, in and out, up and down, and moved around to all of the places that the kids seemed to be hanging out these days. Eventually, she found him hiding out behind a ramen bar and, from then, it was a simple matter to.... coax him to follower her back to the academy.

Mission 1 [p] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Mission 1 [p]   Mission 1 [p] EmptyThu Jun 21, 2018 10:13 pm

She blew a.. rather inappropriate kiss off to the mentor of the class which had just begun after apologizing for interrupting him, but he awkwardly stammered out a thanks for returning Moko, one of the more troublesome students within the class. A tinkling laugh resounded as she wandered on away for another mission, astounded that people allowed their children to join the academy at such a young age; she had become wildly proficient as a twenty-something without the need to lose out on the important memories of her youth. Oh well.

Next up: a rampaging bear. This could be tricky for she was not overly prepared for battle with a raging monster and yet this job too fell to her. When she arrived at the edge of the village where the bear was wreaking havoc she borrowed a large shovel from one of the fleeing men before bounding forward. Sure, the bear's hide was tough but compared to her it was slow and unable to keep up. A few bashes to the head disoriented it enough to allow her a safer entrance into its presence whereupon she shoved the dull but effective edge of the up into the poor animals throat, revealing the inner breathing apparatus for all the world to see. And then she bounced away.

Mission 1 [p] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Mission 1 [p]   Mission 1 [p] EmptyThu Jun 21, 2018 10:20 pm

She sighed at the next one, revisting her previous incredulity at the idea of children playing at being killers and monsters of war. In this case, it became all too real with these children having found their way into the weapon supply of the academy. Now they endangered their own lives and threatened those of anyone around them. How strange that she, a ninja from that same academy, was now employed to protect the regular civilians from that very same institution of learning. She dearly hoped that they would be firing whoever it was who left these munitions so easy to get a hold of.

When she arrived on the scene there were a few young boys running around with all manner of swords and knives, each toting far more than was practical for any warrior. She found two of them playing target practice with one another at, at that point, stepped in, sweeping up a handful of shurken with an effortless grace and flinging them forward, striking the weapons of the lads and sending most of them off balance, each toppling to the ground. Laughing, she remained as the children fled from the presence of an adult. How silly.

Mission 1 [p] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Mission 1 [p]   Mission 1 [p] EmptyThu Jun 21, 2018 10:26 pm

Now this she was good at. This she had practiced for. Trained for. Been born and bread for. Leading tours was something that she could have done blindfolded, infirmed, asleep, and possibly even dead. She knew every fancy eatery, every great club, and every nook and cranny if one wanted to have a smashing good time or simply curl up with a book and have a drink of coffee. She knew the fashion halls, the best fruit stalls, and all of greatest outdoor shopping malls.

This group was on a business meeting it seemed, men in formal wear forming all of the grouping aside from a small few. She smiled and leaned in as she introduced herself and began taking them all around, showing them one of the more well traveled strips which involved drinks, dancing, and all manner of drunken debauchery. After a few freely procured beverages of the adult variety and the entire party was drunk and having a grand time, at which point the woman in charge allowed herself to relieve them of some of their more valuable belongings before turning them lose for a fun night out, though she suspected that in the morning they would probably regret their foolish choices.

Mission 1 [p] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Mission 1 [p]   Mission 1 [p] EmptyThu Jun 21, 2018 10:31 pm

To round out her day she had been tasked with taking out the trash which littered the training grounds. She, naturally, rarely used these training grounds and could hardly recall what they were supposed to look like when not covered in abandoned food wrappers. She much preferred her own small but neat and private training facilities but to each their own. Armed with naught but a sack and a long stick with a spike on the end she made her way around the area, picking up and tossing out anything that she was able to physically move off the ground. It was physically exhausting work and entirely boring, repetitive in nature, but after a few hours she felt content with the way it looked. Certainly it was not entirely fixed as there was still graffiti and the like but at least the place was no longer covered in actual rotting filth. Odd that an academy of one man armies let people vandalize their property. She may need to consider changing then when she took control...
