The following morning saw Usagi once more awake and alert, she in need of a bit of spending cash within the ninja world and the village in need of some more manual labor. Her first task after waking and washing was to go request a docket of a few missions for the day and to scan through them, finding it amusing that she had one that was the same as the day before. She headed back on down to the training grounds with a bucket of water and some paint which she used to scrub off the graffiti and clean up many of the other markings and neglect that had accrued. Once this was finished she went over some of the facilities with a fresh coat of paint and called the whole affair a day. She had other things to go on to complete for the day.

Next after she had finished up the paint job and such was a time for a repeat of the previous day, though for a different client. She was not someone who grew up doing a lot of manual labor or much work of any sort and yet it astounded her that there was so much filth and garbage that apparently just sprouted up all over the place. Could these people not clean up after themselves or take out their own trash? She had no idea but, for the time being, she was happy to collect their money for things that they were not willing to do for themselves. And so she went around taking out people's trash, a simple but physically demanding task that she had little complaints about. Sure it was smelly but she would not be doing things like this for long, just once she had earned a certain amount of seed money to live comfortably.

So much repetition for the day! She was beginning to think that the kage or one of his many secretaries had come up with some kind of scheme to get her to only pick up trash and paint walls for days on end. Again, this did not really bother her in any particular way; she needed money and the people of the village were fairly chronically lazy and the victims of an endless slew of vandalism. This was... odd, considering that they all lived in an almost fully militarized state. How did they get away with such acts of disrespect? While painting over the wall of this older man gave her plenty of time to think about how and why these people did this, she did not arrive at a satisfactory answer but did manage to finish up the project for him and make a bit of extra cash.

Now here was something she could get behind! Tracking down an art thief bandit who had stolen a priceless work of art was just up her alley, though if she were being honest she would point out that in all likelihood the tables could have just as easily been reversed. While she was not actually a renowned or infamous art thief... if the opportunity presented itself she probably wouldn't turn it down. Regardless, she was on the case and on the trail, using the skills of the academy to track down this low rate culprit. Having committed the crime in the middle of the day was bold but it did lead to many witnesses which allowed her to eventually find the man hosting what appeared to be a tea party with the man that the woman could only assume was his fence. Apparently they had wanted to enjoy the art before doing whatever it was that they were going to do with it.

And she was to round out the day with just a bit more manual labor, carrying around some groceries for a poor older woman. To be perfectly honest she greatly enjoyed grocery shopping and had always loved going with her mother and their butler to pick out fresh fruits and delicious breads. And so she grabbed the woman's list and went about her shopping spree, picking out the things on the list and adding a few extras in as well, though she paid for these additions out of her own vast pockets. Then she simply carried them back to her house and put them away for her, though if she thought about it she was unsure about how a woman who was on her death bed was going to actually use those groceries.
