Description: A new couple has come to the village and is in need of a grand tour. You are to take them out and show them the sights as well as recommend a good hotel and fine restaurants around town.


The Normal Couple

The last tour Gekkido was to give was to a… normal couple. A couple that he could tell were balanced enough individuals to have reasonable expectations of the both the village and himself. He actually enjoyed talking to them quite a bit, though he admittedly found the woman quite attractive. Not wanting to get lost in her eyes, he made sure to direct most of the conversations towards the male. The first place they went was to the sports bar. The boyfriend was clearly a sports-junky and would be spending a tremendous amount of time in this place, they all knew that. It was important to him that the pool tables were regularly available, the whisky was crips, the televisions were large enough, and most importantly, all teams were tolerated. The woman, however, loved the dancing halls. They went there next and Gekkido waited as the couple shared a couple of dances together in the moonlight. It seemed to get dark so quickly lately, with the winter months coming around. Gekkido loved it and at the same time, these tours ate away at his daylight hours faster than anything else. The dancing ended and Gekkido pulled the couple away to a restaurant nearby where the best seafood in the entire village was said to be served. Admittedly, every restaurant said that and for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, the squid there was simply to die for. He had to guard himself against enjoying the sound of her laughter too much, it was poisonous to fall in love with any woman; especially another man’s. Instead, he gathered his wits about him and after the dinner, opted out of desert and instead to let the lovely couple enjoy their time together and the cool night they still had yet to take full advantage of.
