Chakra 1

She had come out here on her own to the desert to do a bit of training. She, of course, had acquired a certain set of abilities a while ago which would require her to go through a sort of stockpiling that she may use them to their fullest of powers. And, as such, she decided that it was the appropriate time to set up a bit of a feast, as it were, for herself and a few of her closest... friends. They went out of town, to a small resort, where she had decided to do all of the cooking, though she did solicit just a bit of help from a few of the friends she invited for table settings and the like. Before she began, she forced nearly all of her chakra into the seal she had created, storing it before proceeding to cook.

And then she went about the cooking, finishing up the dishes and taking the food out of the ovens. The industrial kitchen she had rented was magnificent to say the least and had nearly everything a person could ask for as far as cookware went, though in her freshly exhausted state she could not focus amazingly well upon such things as food. Instead, she turned most of her attention inward and examined how it felt to be so tired from such a massive exertion, though she could feel her own system adapting as if in real time. If she continued to train in this manner so hard she would doubtlessly become vastly more powerful in the course of no time! Now she just had to do the work.

The food was splendid when finally she and a few guests brought it to the huge banquet table. The evening was candlelit and while she was still tired, the fresh aroma of so very many meats spread all about truly invigorated her and got her appetite worked up. Everyone was already drinking fine red wines and exotic sake brands but now, with such a scent overtaking them, the small gathering was prepared to dig in, and what a lovely meal they were about to have! She could feel her body preparing for the food, waiting desperately to replenish her chakra reserves that she may begin once again.

Digging in whole heartedly, her and her acquaintances ranted and raved about how astounding the food was, perfectly seasoned and immaculately plated. Usagi, ever the proper hostess, accepted these compliments graciously as she gorged herself entirely, feeling as her body rapidly tore through the protein structures of these various foods to give her body a new swell of energy. Something practical in the heat of battle, perhaps? It was too soon to tell and yet she suddenly had the urge to test it out and what better time than the present, though she would need to wait until they finished up their various toasts and completed the desert courses.

Her personal favorite had been the meat pies she made, though they were such a hit that they flew right off the table. Aside from this the liver was positively astounding in how rich and buttery it was and, of course, the plate of cured meats was a perennial love of all seasons and pallets. She could now feel that, with how much she had consumed, her body was once again fully prepared for another bout of rigorous chakra funneling into that extra supply she had, though she did consider the means for a more efficient storage system. Likely she could not afford to just have a massive meal with every time that she wished to add to her store of extra lives. Standing up, she raised a crystal goblet high, letting the wine slosh a bit and prepared to make an announcement.
