It was a cool and crisp morning, right at dawn. The sun just began to rise from it's slumber, as it slightly emerged from behind the mountains. It's rays of light barely peeked through the clouds and glimmered off the morning dew. The mixture of the crisp weather and the warmth of the sun balanced each other out, making it tepid.
Ko'Oni was adorning his usual white attire, as he made his way in the direction of the academy from his home. It's been quite a while since I have been back here. He thought to himself as he grew progressively closer to the school. His reasoning for coming was due to him accepting a job, requiring the Chunin to clean up the academy for an upcoming event.
Upon arriving at the main entrance, Ko'Oni noticed a note. After further examination, it stated, "Thank you for you help, we just need you to pick up any trash that is left about as well as sweep a little. After you are done, please lock up and drop the key off at the office drop box." Once done reading the note, the boy quickly crumbled it up before letting himself inside and then throwing it away. "Ok, where to start?" He asked himself as he made his way through the building. Maybe the main classroom. Ko'Oni considered it first due to it being the largest in size.
Upon making his mind up, the young Kaguyan grabbed a broom, dustpan, and small garbage can before energetically making his way to the room. Once there he quickly scanned the room and spotted the few pieces of trash littering the area. It didn't take but a second to pick up the litter and toss it in the trash. Once making sure that was all the garbage, Ko grabbed the broom and proceeded to begin sweeping. Starting from the back and moving to the front, he infused the chore with practicing his foot movements. Simultaneously switching his stances from southern dragon style to wing Chun, as he effortlessly glided in a zig zag pattern and sweeping the dust into a pile. Once in a pile, he retrieved the dustpan and emptied the pile into the garbage, before heading off to the next room.
At this room, Ko'Oni proceeded to do the same as before. Although being that this room was smaller than the first, it took only a fraction of the time. Within a few minutes the Chunin is working on the third and final room which is the smallest of all and is completed effortlessly. After finishing his minute chores, Ko locks the main door before dropping the key in the box as stated in the letter and heads back towards his house with a slight smile on his face. It feels good to be able to help out when I can. The boy thought, feeling proud.
