Missions 1

Mission:

The sun was slowly rising over the barren desert sand. A lone figure could be seen walking through the sifting ocean of the sand, wearing little more than a white cape and various golden arm guards and shin guards. the symbol for Sunagakure was tattooed on his right pectoral. The man was none other than the Immortal of Suna, Shin. He walked at a confident, relaxed pace, moving to his destination with no worries whatsoever of what he was soon to face. Yes, he was a man on a mission for his country and he would be soon to punish those who were acting against his home. Yes, these rascals had been attacking trade caravans that were vital to the economy of Suna, so he had volunteered to take them out. Especially in the wake of the recent attacks by those scum, Black Sun, the resources being brought in from the caravans were essential to the villages rebuilding. Shin took a moment to stop and kneel down on his knees, just as the sun started to peek over the dunes along the horizon. He needed to take a moment to pray and give his devotions before he made sacrifices out of these bandits.

He looked up into the sky as it slowly started to include a myriad of colors with its typical dark blue of the dawn. It was an uncommon thing for him to be able to pray so early, so he took the chance with glee. "Sweet Jashin, sweet Jashin, send your will unto me, that the sins of the unworthy might be baptised in blood and death." He waited and grinned as he felt a warmth come over his body that could only be described as pure bliss. He loved the feeling of being spiritually close to Jashin, being able to feel the blood bond that they shared from his devotion and faith. He would show these heathen why they shouldn't think about attacking Jashin's holy land. Not that they would be able to attack anywhere ever again once he finished with them. Forming a hand seal, he would touch his chest with his right hand, a sealing array would spread over his entire body in complex lines and other designs before fading away. He had just placed a seal he had created, so that he would be able to start storing chakra into it. He breathed out some as he embraced the brief feeling of exhaustion from the amount of chakra he just let into the seal.

He could see a cave that was supposed to be the home of these degenerate bandits, so he made his way there. Before he was able to make it close enough to the entrance to see inside, he found himself surrounded by three bandits, each looking at his armor hungrily. As opposed to figuring out their names, Shin decided to give them each numbers. Ichi, was tall and slender, carrying a small knife that had a hooked edge. Nii was a rotund man with thick arms and a bushy beard, he carried a spiked club. San was a very common looking man with a very common looking sword. All in all, none of them looked overly threatening nor did they appear to be overly skilled shinobi. Nii seemed to be the spokesman for the trio as he spoke and stepped forward. "I think you forgot about the toll for this road, punk. We will be taking your gold there." He finished by pointing his club at Shin's arms and legs. "I think you are mistaken, pig. The toll for crossing paths with me on the road of life is death. I will be collecting from each of you now." With that he would appear to vanish from in front of them, it was time for their reckoning.

Appearing behind Nii, Shin would slam a fist into the poor bastards back, no doubt breaking it in half before he took the mans club and bashed his head in. While this was happening, San seemed frozen in place while Ichi took off and reacted much faster than anticipated. He managed to stab Shin six times in the back and side before shin turned to him. "I am a prophet of Jashin-sama! Your weapons cannot hurt me!" Which was something of a lie, he still felt pain, but the blessing of Jashin allowed him to enjoy and embrace the pain, using it to fuel his rage to garner more sacrifices. Shin would use the club the slam the side of Ichi's head, then throwing it to the side, he would roundhouse kick the other side, snapping his neck. Only one left. Turning to face the shaking San, Shin would approach him slowly. "May the sins of the unworthy be baptized in blood and fear." Taking the knife that Ichi had left stabbed into Shin's right lung, he would slash it across San's throat, killing him slowly and painfully as he bled to death. Shin would lick the blood from the knife before throwing it back to the ground. He still had a rats nest to clear out.

He sat still for several minutes, feeling his chakra slowly return to him. He looked at the cave that was filled with bandits moving about, counting their booty or sharpening weapons. None of them knew that the very shadow of death had fallen on their doorway. forming a single handseal, he filled the cave with a thick mist. Some bandits knew something was wrong and grabbed weapons while others were simply confused, it didn't matter to Shin, they would all be dead soon enough. Forming a second handseal, The area would be filled with what appeared to be red silky cobwebs hung from the ceiling, walls and floor. Even woven in and out of the various tents and caravan carts in the area. Some bandits bumbled into it and realized they were stuck, and the more they struggled, the more they were ensnared. With a final seal, the bloody webs became acidic, burning through flesh, muscle and bones, the screams of the unworthy filled the cave and the desert outside. Shin basked in the feeling he received, knowing he had pleased his lord. He would secure the remaining wares and resources, taking them back to the village to be used in rebuilding. He hoped he would be of some use.
