| First Year Gekkido’s plans went smoothly. Stage one was complete with the throne being occupied by Senjiro Nara. Silencing those who opposed was easy as he grew in power and in reputation, solidifying every move that Senjiro made and intimidating those who would stand against him. Trade began to increase between Kirigakure and other nations, creating some silent tension as many worried about too much power being in the hands of the water country. Gekkido did much to not start a war pre-emptively, and kept himself busy with an adventure or two with his new friend Kyo. Kyo and Gekkido fulfilled their plan of searching for the tailed beasts, but were unable to find any, being alluded at every turn. In the meantime much training and growth in power took place between the two men. With such a powerful training partner, Gekkido was easily able to master the Flying Thunder God technique, as well as begin to make new powerful lightning techniques. The fact that they were training to fight monsters meant that the techniques that were made were made at scale. The young Kaguya wondered where he might be in a few years after training at such an intensity. As usual, Gekkido continued to train his chakra reserves in order that progress would be constant and unending. He knew that to beat a chakra monster he had to become one. One thing he learned early on about the man Kyo was that he was a man of enormous chakra reserves. Taking some of his techniques, the young Kaguya exponentially grew his own. | |

| Second Year Gekkido’s adventures in looking for the tailed beasts were put on temporary stall as he was needed by his friend Senjiro in securing the throne and backing him up behind major political decisions. In truth, it was primarily centered around an imaginary threat that he, Senjiro and Kyo felt they needed to be hunting for. This mysterious group seemed to cause a silent ruckus and then disappear quickly after. Many a time was Gekkido sent on an endless rabbit trail after these criminals only to come back empty handed. He reminded his friend Senjiro to maintain his arc of growth in order to secure power. One thing Gekkido knew was that a throne is never given; it is taken. And as two very young men he and Senjiro were constantly being tested for worthiness and maturity. This helped them, however, as it kept them sharp in both manner and skill. Gekkido would continue to hound Senjiro about the training and growth of chakra, seeing this primary quality as the most important necessary as a king. He knew that they would always be outnumbered in this world, but his goal was for them to never be outgunned. He himself retreated often outside of kirigakure or to his own clanspeople in order to train his chakra privately. He studied the nature of it and continued to develop techniques of his own to make the process much faster and to help transfer these tips to his friend. Soon, they were both over the threshold of typical S rank shinobi and veering into power levels comparable to shinobi gods and legends.

| Third Year This was the first year where Gekkido experienced true struggle from a political standpoint. Two nations were destroyed and nobody seemed to know by whom or why they were. Thousands of refugees poured into Kirigakure now, and security around the village tripled, as well as the overall strain on the country's natural resources. Naturally, Gekkido foamed at the mouth upon hearing of these events, being quite confident that it was the tailed beasts who were responsible. Once more he summoned Kyo for a quest, only to chase the wind once more. It was particularly difficult to stay out and about in these days as Senjiro needed him back at the village more than ever now that their population had tripled. Gekkido began at this time to spend a lot less time in public and in the village totally. He didn't like all the attention and all the eyes that were constantly scanning the village, it fellt like being smothered. Furthermore, he needed privacy in order to maintain autononmy. So he hid mostly in the Kaguya clan compound and traveled around the outskirts of the nation in watch for danger and other things. During this time as always he kept up his chakra training in order to stay consistent in case he was so fortunate that the world turmoil ended up in a war. | |

| Fourth Year Gekkido sat atop a mountain just outside of Kirigakure as the night drew on and the Mizukage’s birthday was celebrated in all the streets. Senjiro had done a great job of becoming loved among the people, a kind of savior. Gekkido had been very wise in picking him to play the part he played, and it gave the young Kaguya plenty of time to train and learn of the secrets that captivated his heart. It was around this time that Gekkido took to visitng the Kaguya clan caves and temples much more often. Studying the ruins and the symbols that were reoccurring in his many studies. He had come to realize that his ancestors had not wanted to colonize earth as much as he had once thought. Instead they had believed that another race from the stars one day would. His focus drifted from being infatuated with the subduing of the earth to the discovery of wherever it was these beings lived/existed. Gekkido experienced a huge surge of confidence as well as an experience of enlightenment during this time. He had mastered his chakra control to such a degree that he began to make varitions to his best techniques. Soon, he transformed even the legendary LRA into a version that he deemed to be his wildcard. He knew when he became the thunder and lightning god that he would be able to go toe to toe with the gods someday when they came face to face. Part of his desire to learn the FTG technique was his belief that it would someday be the gateway to him being able to open a dimensional portal into another place and travel yonder. He was growing quite bored of being in the cage of political correctness. So badly did he desire to start wars and create armies to punish other nations for their selfish prudery. But alas, he simply waited patiently. Consistently each day at this time did he visit the temples for growth and prayer, always looking to expand his chakra and make more efficient the flow of his soul.

| Year Five In the fifth year it was reported to the government that in the iwagakure rubble there had been discovered strange cave drawings as well as private tunnels leading who knew where. Gekkido’s attention was most definitely caught, but he was not quite captivated. He’d realized that all along he believed his destiny was in awaiting for something to come to him. He now realized that his way through life would be as the way of the eagle through the air. It wasn’t what was coming to him, but what he was going towards. He had equipped himself with such great and dynamic power that he no longer gave praise and awe to the gods he’d grown so fond of over the years. He now believed and desired to be a god; he knew now that it was his birthright. He’d also changed some parts of his philosophy in ways he knew might even be shocking to Senjiro, and thus there would be some talk needed. They always kept in touch and close contact, but had met less and less often as political fancies had gotten in the way. For the first time in five years he’d gone a whole six months without seeing his friend in private. It was time to meet up once more and decide what the next steps would be….
