Appearance: Griffith is, for lack of a better word, a beautiful man. His long, white wavy hair flows from the top of his head to his lower back. His sharp face, always attentive, resembles that of a sculpture -- failing to waver at any moment. On his face lays an black, ever sharp gaze that pierces anything or anyone he looks towards, splitting the air between the two effortlessly. He has a toned, slender build that stands 6 feet tall. His skin is fair, as if it hasn't been exposed to the sun in age (contrary to the truth, actually).
Griffith is typically seen wearing a loose, light-purple shirt and black pants with a thin, brown rope tied around his waist. On his hip lays his rapier, a weapon that he has learned to use throughout the course of his life. He usually wears the typical ninja-grade sandals and his ninja headband certifying him of with the status of a shinobi hangs from the thin rope tied around his waist, effortlessly swaying back and forth as he walks to and from his destination(s).
A point significant enough to mention is that Griffith rarely ties his long, flowing hair in any type of hair tie. His hair has made him rather popular, particularly with women, so he tries to have it on display whenever possible -- a sure mark of the pride he feels as a human.

Personality: If deviousness, nefariousness, and ulterior motives had a face, it'd be the face belonging to Griffith. A man who always knows more than he lets on and is willing to say just about anything to get what he wants, he's become extremely popular among the common folk of the village through the use of his water-like personality -- that is to say that he can alter his personality to fit in with just about anybody. Herein lies one of his many strengths -- his ability to manipulate others to do his bidding, consciously or otherwise, through simple conversation and affection.
Griffith is a man with immense amounts of pent up aggression. Isolated from others since his youth, partly due to his particular appearance, jealousy, and personality, he spends most of his time alone. Whether it be training or working, he prefers to go about his duties solo. This has given him plenty of time to learn how to resent people, and more importantly, how to pretend to be around them. If his own profits are in sights, Griffith will not hesitate to betray anyone. While many may see this as villainous, only those who have spent their years on Earth in near-solitude could possibly understand his views on the world.
On the surface, when utilizing his "other" personality, Griffith is an incredibly kind and soothing individual. When he speaks, it's as if Mother Nature itself is speaking sweet promises into your ear. His smile is bright and inviting, similar to the way he carries himself. He's helpful, a good listener, good with children and the elderly, women, men, etc. Basically, on the surface, Griffith is the perfect neighbor anyone would clamor over.
Hard working doesn't even begin to describe Griffith. He is someone who will work at something until he has mastered it. However, due to his life of solitude, no one is really aware as to the extent of his abilities. While many assume he isn't talented in the art of the ninja due to his lowly Genin rank and his incredibly gentle demeanor, they cannot be too sure.
Despite his snake-like behaviors, Griffith does have individuals who are dear to him. His little sister, his mother, the owner of the orphanage, and the daughter of the owner by the name of Ryougi are his rocks in life, the cornerstones of his life. While not exactly being a caretaker, he looks after them from afar (and up close, whenever possible).
Character History: The day of Griffith's birth was the eve of the Harvest Moon, a day long held sacred by the humans who walk the soil of the Earth. As such, the second his mother went into labor, his father became incredibly excited. He saw the birth of his first child on the eve of such a wondrous day as an omen of incredible luck. He foresaw a future befitting of the father of a great individual -- the father of a man who's name would ring through the bowels of history, striking awe into each and every soul that wanders the planet.
Unluckily for Griffith's father, the flames fueling his dreams would simmer to ash as his son took his first breath of the world he would learn to call home. A head of hair as white as the snow-tipped mountains of the northern territories fit squarely on the top of his newborn's head. His father became engulfed by a sea of rage as soon as his gleeful gaze spotted such a horrible truth. An Uchiha without black hair was near certain proof of bad blood. Throughout centuries, most of those unlucky Uchiha born without black hair had failed to manifest the virtues granted to them by the powers that be.
Griffith's father, refusing to be connected to such an atrocity anymore than he already had been, immediately left his son with the local orphanage. He refused to raise a manifestation of bad luck. In fact, he even doubted that his son was his own. Later that same night, haunted by the unfortunate reality that awaited him, his father took his own life. He left behind a loving wife and his only child: a boy with hair whiter than the glaciers that surrounded the north.
Like most orphans abandoned in the middle of the night, Griffith knew next to nothing about his own family. He was Griffith and Griffith alone, unimpeded by the influence of a clan or family.
Griffith's life of lonesomeness began the second he was admitted to the orphanage. As a young boy, he was often teased by nearly every other kid. They picked on him for his feminine hair, strong gaze, and any other reason they could think of. He was mercilessly bullied by all -- except for an older girl who was the daughter of the orphanage's manager. She was the only other child who showed him any semblance of kindness. She would play with him, converse with him, and protected him when the bullying got to be too much. He would later vow to be with the young girl by the name of Ryougi, promising to protect her from any harm that should befall her for the rest of her life.
As Griffith grew up, he began to learn more and more about his roots. He met with his mother and made his peace with her, as well as learning that he was an older sibling to a young girl born five years after he was. Unlike him, she was blessed with black hair. Still, instead of harboring resentment, he decided to nurture and protect the girl -- promising to give her the life his parents initially denied him.
The young boy with white hair would soon graduate from the academy and begin his life as a shinobi, carrying the burden of solitude every step of the way.
