Name: Kiraku Uchiha
Nickname: (N/A)
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Height: 1.7m
Weight: 75kg
Appearance: Kiraku is a pale-faced figure that starkly contrasts against his dark ebony eyes and hair. He is a bit taller than the average genin, sporting an athletic build albeit, his limbs muscled albeit far from well built. Although the sun never stops shining in Sunagakure and Kiraku spends plenty of time outside, his skin never seems to darkness, as if tainted by some white corpse-like flush, emphasised by his gaunt and rigid features. He holds himself in a relaxed demeanour, his shoulders slouched and his voice stern but usually low toned.
Always seen wearing differently coloured bandanas that adorning the Sunagakure shinobi headband plate around his forehead, a practical choice to keep his hair out of his eyes more than a fashion statement, although he rarly wears it down; instead bound tightly behind his head. Yet he has a wide range of colours and styles of bandanas and even though most of them have gone out of fashion a long time ago, he still seems to treasure them as if they magical. His choice of clothes isn't latest fashion either, buying mostly on what he likes on the spot and wears what he feels is comfortable, not appropriate. He is not above covering himself nearly whole bodily in rags if the village is enduring a nightly chilling sandstorm, although he finds preference in loose clothing during the day, that lets him move freely without ending up caked in sweat and sand; a sticky itchy compound that afflicts unprepared foreigners.
Village: Sunagakure no Sato
Character Rank: Genin
Character Tier: D-3
Clan: Uchiha
Element: Katon
Bijuu Roll: None.
Personality: Kiraku believes that he takes his role as a shinobi of Sunagakure with the utmost of serious drives, seeing as that is the only thing that makes him wake up in the morning. Having been orphaned for the better part of his life now, Kiraku has become a mostly isolated person, learning to cook, wash clothes and other mundane tasks that would usually be done by his progenitors, which probably has led him to develop the weird tendencies and flaws he has. Kiraku believes strongly that one is born with the superior power and prowess of an Uchiha is already stronger than other shinobi of his station yet one must train his body to utilise them fully. When it comes to training; any shortcoming can be overcome with more training, harder and stricter than what came before it. Kiraku is ready to go to extreme lengths to improve himself, believing fully that as he must perform at least three times better than others, even more so to live up to his clan’s name and by extent; His parent’s legacy. This unfortunately, puts an even harder strain on little of what social life he has and even though he tries to at least make the acquaintance of other shinobi, especially other Uchiha, the cards are not really in his favour.
Another personality trait that does not help him to be popular with his peers is his extremely keen interest in the opposite sex (even though he somewhat he considers them inferior to his own sex) which does put him in a variety of awkward situations in the times that it caused him to stray away from his training to “pursue his interests”. Ironically enough, Kiraku has never been in a relationship, mostly due to his fear of ending up under the boot of some woman and spending the rest of his life in misery wrapped around her finger. Even though he tries hard to keep this perverse flaw in check, as soon as he sees a pair of breasts large enough, all these fears and restrain usually go out following the blood from his nose. This also serves as one of his greatest motivations, making him push himself to the limit just to get a peek and be resilient as he takes beatings from angered scantily clad women.
If he is not training or tending to the mundane everyday duties that come with living alone, there is a good chance that Kiraku is in the area of the hot springs or on some tree, trying to find a good angle. Even though he tries to refrain from engaging in such underhanded activities regularly, erotic magazines and adult novels only sate his flaw for so long before he has to resort back to the real thing. Even though Kiraku is a hard worker and always strives to become a better person than he was yesterday, he rarely lets down a chance to get a good afternoon nap yet he rarely has that much time on his hands. He is not a very social person, mostly due to his out-dated mindset and weird way that he carries himself and acts, so he cherishes every moment he spends in the company of other people, especially other Uchiha and those of the opposite sex.
Kiraku’s biggest drive is his desire to meet his parent’s expectations and hoping to bring honour to his clan, to succeed as a shinobi in general. He also hopes that this will finally cause him to attract woman to him instead of having to peep to get a glimpse and deep down, he wishes to maybe catch the eye of a beautiful woman and maybe get settled yet this motivation is also mixed with fear, unsure if it is he that really wants it or it's his father’s words pushing him to keep the bloodline going. He believes himself lucky to be a Uchiha and given the tools to be stronger than many could be thanks to his dojutsu but he also believes that this will only happen through hard work, sacrifice and perseverance through the misgivings of life.
Character History: Born to veteran shinobi parents, they had met early on in their adult lives through their lines of work and happened to live close together, being both from the revered Uchiha Clan..Through mostly romantic love with a backdrop of political interest, Kumi and Daizō Uchiha got into a 20-year long relationship, which cultivated into a marriage that conceived their only child, Kiraku Uchiha.
He was raised in a fairly well off family when it came to Ryo. Being an only child, largely due to his parents conceiving him fairly late in their lives, meant that the little time they spent at home, it was spent with him. Even in their absence, They made sure that Kiraku always attended the Academy and pushed him to study and train hard, usually giving him a hand themselves personally, being experts in the field themselves. One may say they didn’t succeed of that albeit it was circumstances that caused their failure, not incompetence or lack trying.
Fairly early on in his childhood, at the age of 8 years; Kiraku lost both of his parents unexpectedly; Well for Kiraku at least, who considered his parents the epitome of shinobi prowess. They were caught in an ambush that claimed the lives of their whole squad but through sheer skill, they managed to dispatch the remaining assailants but alas, they were both injured gravely in the process. Faced with the option to either head back for medical attention and fail the mission or press on and die in the process, they gallantly chose to press on for the village’s sake. They managed to get word to Sunagakure and inform their superiors of the result of the mission. At least that is what was said to Kiraku. Their honourable death was seen as a testament to the discipline of the Suna shinobi and their dedication to the village’s safety. Kiraku tried to stay resolute, pushing any sadness away and did not grief for long, at least not where he could be seen. Instead, he set himself on the path to follow his parent's great legacy and even exceed them or die trying. This pushed him to work even harder at the academy, doing his best to exceed any obstacle that lay in his way, dedicating most of his waking hours to study and practice jutsu, the only other things using his time where the daily routine to keep himself alive. Yet, when the loneliness gets too heavy for him to bear, which is quite often, he sometimes goes to spend time near their graves and recount his day to the evening skies.
Even after the death of his parents, He still lived alone in the decently sized house that he had unexpectedly inherited. Even though he found himself with a multitude of new responsibilities, he refused much of the help offered to him. Maybe it was through pride or maybe it's because he knew that he couldn’t rely on other people to be able to live some sort of normal life. This caused him to eat raw or burned food for many nights whilst wearing dirty clothes before he fully mastered the everyday routine that he now needed to do. Even though it might felt a bit emasculating to do so many tasks usually attributed to women for someone else, Kiraku saw himself more in the lines of a lone survivor battling a harsh world, an unchained renegade who only answered to the Kazekage and himself. He tried his best to put the death of his parents behind him, believing that thinking of the past would only inhibit his progress and cause him to fail; He was certain of one thing; he had a long way to go before he could build a proud legacy for his descendants, if he ever would have any. His hard work and constant focus on his school where the center stage of most of his childhood but in his adolescence, his perverse flaw began to show itself . Kiraku was in no way popular, mostly seen as wired and pitied by his peers and the new development in his behaviour did little good to improve his standing. It started slowly, with the occasional peep at a girl’s torso then through the hole on the 8th plank in the room next to the girl’s changing room, then up onto the rocky outcrop next to the hot springs; even Kiraku’s Ironwill found it hard to put this perverse flaw under control. Even though he was caught multiple times and usually followed with a beat up by mobs of angry women and girls, Kiraku would take the risk any day over reading erotic magazines.
Even with his flaw causing him to sometimes stray from his training or end up in bed barely able to move due to a beating, Kiraku managed to nevertheless pass the genin exam, making him finally see the result of all his hard work be rewarded. It filled him with great joy, yet he knew that this was nothing but the first step in a long road."
