Kirito's Mission Thread [Private]

Mission Contract:

Kirito awoke knowing that today was going to be the day that he had set aside to tackle missions. He needed to get a steady income of Ryo, and the actual combat experience one gained from missions and the like didn't hurt either. He would need everything he could get his hands on in order to take on the Sanbi. His time was drawing near, and with each passing night he had the same recurring dream about the Sanbi taking over his body. He needed to get stronger, so that he could face his destiny. One day soon, he knew he would need to do battle with his inner demon and he would need to be ready for it.

Grabbing a mission contract, he read that it was to assassinate a local mayor. It would seem that he had gotten too big for his mayoral boots and had began to abuse his newfound authority on the people of his town. He had armed guards and a well fortified township that was more apt to be compared to a fortress. Even the 'Mayor' himself was nothing more than a powerful shinobi who was abusing his power to bully the weak into submission so that he could rule over them like a king. This didn't sit well with Kirito at all, he would put an end to this man if it was the last thing he did. 

The first thing he needed to do was gather his supplies. Heading to the nearest store, he would restock with more weapons and supplies to help him prepare for the battle at hand. Once he was fully prepared, he would head out of the south gate of the village and in the direction that the town was supposed to be located.

As he walked he started to form different strategies for both infiltrating the village and defeating the one in charge. He was supposedly a master in the fire style, this worked well for Kirito as he had the Water element which would make dealing with this guy far easier. He just needed to find the man's main base of operations and infiltrate it without raising too many alarms. Another possible option would be to just rush in and destroy everything, but that ran the risk of causing too many civilian casualties. This was not an option, but perhaps he would be able to glean more information from the town once he actually got there. He was getting close now, so it was time to begin to put phase one of his plan into action. 

He would stop off of the main road and sit down. Forming a clone to send off, Kirito would begin gathering senjutsu chakra. His clone approached the town and was in awe. The wooden walls they had built around it were almost as large as the walls of Konoha itself. The guards were patrolling rather laxly though, it didn't seem that they were worried about much. They didn't seem to think anyone would be interested in attacking them as the town still paid its taxes to the Village of Konoha so it had no reason to suspect anything was amiss.

His clone made it into the village with relative ease, slipping past the guards completely unseen. It managed to find the guard barracks as well as the building that served as the mayors 'office'. It made its way into the barracks first. It found many different orders and tactics that the guards were to enact under various scenarios and different things they should do and prepare for. In the mayor's office, he found a record of each village member as well as plans for escape and evacuation of the town in the event of an incoming army. This gave him an idea. He now knew where to find both the seal that would begin the evacuation as well as everything that would take place during the evacuation. 

Creating a clone and then dispersing, his memories would return to the original Kirito. He was still meditating, though dark blue circles had appeared around his eyes now as he had gathered a sufficient amount of senjutsu chakra. Standing up, he would open his eyes and look towards the village. It would only be a moment before the alarm was sent up and the village evacuation would begin. And, right on cue, it happened. A loud sound filled the air and he could sense the hundreds of people making their way into the underground that led out of the village. It seemed they all had access tunnels directly under each of their homes to make a speedy escape if need be, smart.

Once he felt that every civilian had made it to safety, he released the hold he had been keeping on his chakra. The force of it being released cracked the ground, he knew that they could feel it within the village as he felt them upping their defense. He dashed at the main gate and slammed his sage mode enhanced fist into it. With a blast of chakra and raw strength, the massive gate was blown off its hinges, dented in half. This would prove to be a very interesting mission indeed. He moved in, the twenty or so guards seeming to be moving in slow motion. It was odd to be so much faster than his opponents, it was not something he was used to. Drawing his blade, he would make his way to each guard slicing their throats. 

Once he was finished with them, he could sense there were still many guards throughout the village and they were all coming for him. He would slow down and sheathe his blade and wait for them to come and see this invading army of one. He finally saw it, a group of nearly a hundred men closing in on his position. It was laughable, their expressions at seeing that all of their men had been defeated by a twelve year old child. They would be joining their comrades soon enough. He waited for the guardsmen to make the first move, he didn't want to rush this fight after all.

It would be difficult to face these men in normal circumstances, but to him, they were moving at a snails pace. He didn't even need his blade as the first few men came at him with their swords, clubs and axes. It was simple to dodge them and then give them a gentle push through the walls of the nearby buildings. His enhanced strength was very helpful here, and he was surely thankful for it. But, he was growing tired of wasting so much of his time on these men. He needed to hurry and get to his objective as he could sense the, building up defenses. He could also feel that his sage mode that was so quickly entered was wearing off. So, he pushed his speed back to full force and ran through the crowd knocking out every guard. It wouldn't do to kill them all, it seemed excessive and he felt remorse for killing the ones he had already. 

Once he made it through the men, he took off in the direction that he could sense the last six people in the village were. He traced them back to a single building, one was on the roof, two were guarding the door and then there were two inside of the building not 30 feet from the final signature. He formulated a quick plan, seeing as his sage chakra just ran out. He would sneak up behind the guy on the roof, which was rather simple when suppressing his chakra. He then knocked the man out and prepared for his next attack.

He would drop from the roof of the building and land between the two guards. The moment he landed, he formed a Rasengan in each hand using their distraction and surprise at his sudden appearance to buy him time. Planting the Rasengans in each guards stomach, it only took a moment before they blasted off. It was his first combat usage of the technique, and he had to admit that he was impressed. He entered the building silently. He decided to use the Hidden Mist Jutsu in order to disguise his approach somewhat. To his surprise, the guards actually separated themselves and journeyed out into the mist. 

So it would seem that they were either foolish or overconfident. He silently drew his blade and ran it across the first guards neck. It took only a moment for his partner to find the body. He made his end rather quick as well by placing a strike through his heart and then kicking him hard enough that he knocked the doors down. In the room was his target. He only hoped that he put up more of a fight than the ones guarding him did.

He entered the room and was somewhat shocked that his target rushed him at a speed that was almost equal to his own. He dodged the straight punch and moved a few meters away to avoid the kick that followed. He had to rush through the handsigns for the wild water wave to beat the fireball the man shot at him. It would seem that he was a cut above the rest of his enemies of the day. He was most definitely an A-rank in strength as he sent a punch to Kirito that he caught but could feel the man pushing back at him. He ended up forming a rasengan in his free hand to blast the guy back. 

It was to his dismay that the man made the same ash jutsu that Makoto used in their spar. One that he knew would  burn him should it hit. So, he lept backwards out the window behind him and landed on the roof of a nearby building. Entering his Version Two cloak mode, he would form a very large tailed beast ball, it was about the size of a house. Firing it forwards, he would dash in the opposite direction, yet its explosion still almost caught him in it. He went back to check and found no sign of the man, or the building he was in. He was vaporized completely it would seem. Heading back to the bounty office, he would collect his payment and head home for some well deserved rest.
