Description: You have been asked to guard a merchant as he makes a delivery to his most influential customer. He will be travelling all the way to a minor village in an adjacent land and back. You are to escort him both ways and protect him from the bandits that want to steal his wares. There are six bandits, they all have 50 in all stats their leader however has 60 in all stats. They don't know any ninjutsu or genjutsu but they are relatively skilled in taijutsu and bukijutsu.

Protecting a merchant traveler to and from Konoha to another minor village? That as more like it, Rei preferred these kinds of missions where she could get away from the village and all its rules. When she thought Konoha, it was actually her clan. The rules and practices that they do. Sometimes its just best to get away and refresh yourself. As the next clan leader of the Hyuga clan, Rei knew that eventually she would be stuck and unable to take these kinds of leisure missions... Even though technically it wasn't a leisure mission. She and another shinobi, Kyo.. were supposed to protect the merchant while he did his business. Rei glanced over at Kyo, then the merchant... Kyo was a decent sort. The kind of Hyuga that she approved us. Between the two of them, they would surely be capable of protecting this merchant. "How much longer to this minor village? Ive yet to see a bandit at all." she said, not complaining but stating the fact that these supposed bandits hand't shown themselves yet. Then again, this seemed like the perfect opportunity o stage an ambush right before arriving at your destination. Concerned, Rei activated her Byakugan and noticed several chakra signatures all around. Without saying a word, she would signal to Kyo and prepare for combat.

Hyuuga Kyo. A name that resonated with great authority and prestige in Konoha. The Hyuuga clan and those unfortunate enough to stand against one knew fully well of the delicate tenacity of the Hyuuga. Rei was no different. Far more powerful than Kyo, he was taught from a young age by his parents that she will be the next Hyuuga Queen as it were. And you are to view her as you would family and that was exactly what he did. He was prepared to give his life willingly for the Heiress.

They had indeed been walking for quite some time. The carriage that housed the merchant was ahead of them not more than five feet away. The road was made of cobble stone giving the carriage and its occupants the smoothest ride possible in that area. It was pulled by four horses who were now in a steady trot and Kyo kept in pace with it.

At the side of the road as an embankment; ten feet high and if it were him, it was here he would attack. As if on signal, Rei alerted him which made him activate hia Byakugan. Veins pulsating with chakra as his eyes under his sunglasses searched. Yes there were six of them in total. Four of them were on horseback. Kyo wrapped his digits around the handle of his katana and was ready.

Rei had become to know Kyo recently, starting with a quest that the two of them had done together.
It had been to bully a bully and though Kyo had been brutal in dealing with the poor genin- Rei greatly approved of the hyuga's methods. Truth be told, she had been planning to do somewhat of the same to the bully. It had been a pleasant surprise that Kyo was like-minded in terms of dealing with power-hungry irresponsible shinobi. Kyo was a loyal and responsible member of her clan. Like many of them, she viewed them as close family. And they in turn,
respected her position. Kyo in this environment would be unforgiving to any who dared to bring harm to the heiress to his clan. Rei knew this and she appreciated him powerful emotions for her and the clan. She was the princess,
heiress and she couldn't allow her family to throw themselves into danger without her assisting them.

A Kyo took her signal, activated his Byakugan and brandished his weapon, Rei prepared herself too. She brought up her fingers with her index and middle finger forward like a blade, typical for a Jyuken stance... but this was one of her own self-taught techniques. She would rush forward towards the bandits, her fingers out-stretched and quickly stab two of them far faster than they could even comprehend. Her fingers sunk into their hearts like a blade through warm butter. She retracted her fingers and blood splurted out all over her as she ensured that the merchant and his horses were still safe. Kyo could handle the other two.

The blood had landed on Kyo's face as Rei had found her target. By that time, a sword which belonged to Kyo had already found its way inside the head of one of the attackers who was on horseback. The animal reared on its hind legs knowing fully well that its master's life had been taken away from him. But no matter. As Kyo pulled his weapon from the man's skull, he did not waste any movement by backflipping over his attacker and with a swift hook of his sword the man head was rolling. The merchant was now safe and they all co tinued on their way towards safety.
